  1. It would be 5 studs long...so not that big,I don't build off-roaders so I can't say for sure that a reinforced universal joint will help performance.
  2. If you need it to pivot the other way just add another section to it.
  3. Here is a custom universal joint..... There are two types of toggle joint smooth and toothed.
  4. I might be wrong in saying this but you might be better making a custom universal joint using half toggle joints,I believe it would be stronger.
  5. Here is a basic design, you may want to gear it down again for more precise movement.
  6. I can't think of any modern technic F1 cars off the top of my head..... It sound's above like you want to go for a 6 wide axles, but are having trouble building them in. Have you tried using thin liftarms to pack out a six wide axle/s? EDIT
  7. Congratulation's Blakbird on your promotion to technic regulator.
  8. I will look forward to the video. How about gearing down a 42 tooth gear with a 8 tooth gear for more precise control?
  9. I just laughed,I hope this is given to the lego group.....
  10. I like the change to Ameribricks.com,and I love that lovely blue background colour too..... Do you have plans to replace the pirate section with a cowboys and Indians section? I bet Boneparte would look great with a gun holster around him, rather and being a captain of a small pirate ship.
  11. April the first....let's see what jokes thay are....

  12. Very nice truck. I see you have also added suspension which is nice to see.
  13. You are supposed to link them from the website or from your photo host, more info can be found here.
  14. That might be because I am predominantly a studless builder.....
  15. You would end up with something like this.....
  16. I would add a brace to the outside connector to both sides, you would have a 9 long beam on the other side right....?
  17. Here is my one,If I could I would also add bracing to the outside connector. Edit.... I see that this design does not show the triangle or the other beam, you could just replace both pin with axles and thin liftarms.
  18. Were is the 'dog clutch'? That gearbox does not look like a sequential gearbox but rather a standard H shaped gearbox.
  19. David that is not driven axle.....
  20. Ah yes,I think you are going to have to change that.
  21. In the Eurobricks special themes section they are currently having a few different contests to do with 'Fabuland'. Once the contests are over, you should see the 'Uniting Lego fans around the world' banner back.
  22. The only qualification I have is a health and safety card..... I work as a unskilled builder and plant operator,so now you know why I only build machinery....as it is what I know. Instead of building Lego ones I get to drive real ones.
  23. That is not going work, because a title is given by staff at there discretion. Saying you want one is going to do the opposite.
  24. I was expecting more of a pick up look to a off-roader type body. It's a good start for your first model.
