  2. He likes seeing you part with lots of cash.
  3. Super truck. You can expect to find it in the HOF soon.
  4. For a start use the Ldraw library, this can be MLcad,Bricksmith(Mac) or LDcad. Then you can use Lpub or Lpub3D to make the instructions. Blackbird and Myself both use MLcad.I would be more than happy to help you or teach you MLcad/Lpub. Like everything practice make perfect.
  5. I will first like to separate style A as "studded" and style B as "studless", then say that I really don't care what style, I like both styles if done well. The majority of members here are ether going to love style A or Style B,both styles of building have iconic sets like the space shuttle (90's) or the backhoe loader (00's).
  6. On the Technic page on the Lego website there is a short discussion with some "retired Technic designers",I will redirect you to the Lego site instead of quoting. It is a in interesting reed with plans with what looks do be more chapters coming soon.I always wanted to find out who were the designers behind some of the older sets. Read About It Here
  7. Sorry, yes FOPS is what I meant to say not ROPS ,Its a bad sign when a operator forgets the difference. I think the Lego version is based on a material handler variant so the clam shell grab and the cab raising would tie in.
  8. That is meant to be a FOPS guard, but like the handrail it is out of proportion. I would of used solid hose to make the hand rails and FOPS guard.
  9. This is Jurgen's moc why do you seem to portraying it as yours? I also think its not right to be hosting the building instructions for the moc's with out the builder permission, that is assuming have have any.
  10. Oh I take that back then, seams like you can't build after all.
  11. I was meaning these: But actually these might work better: I suggest you look around brick-link and see if it gives you any ideas....I do that sometimes.
  12. I imagine you also don't need any sort of heater due to the close proximity of the engine. I also hope the car has a good sound system for the radio as it is going to be mighty load being right behind the engine.
  13. How about using hinged plates (finger style)?
  14. Your truck is looking really good, you should build more often.
  15. Yes, Just add 71 after the part you want to sub out. 0 !LPUB PLI BEGIN SUB 61903.dat 71
  16. I can't believe this set was released so long ago....I like the changes you made to the original set.
  17. If you download mlcad from the Ldraw website,it comes with "LSynth" ready to go.
  18. Nice little review,I got this set too and I am using it as a parts pack. I can't believe how this set was released in 2013....time flys.
  19. Welcome fellow Scot to Eurobricks.
  20. Mlcad has no auto snap feature,it just uses a grid increment to move the parts around (if you set it up right it can be just as good). I am back steaming by the way.
  21. The "chat" have decided it should be a American style truck.
  22. I am also working on a bulldozer. That was Allanp's idea blame him not me.
