    look on the Axle Collection thread, jorgeposi uses a 1x2 rubber brick as "absorber"... you can find a good collections of axles...maybe some good enough for small Tatra ;)

    what about motor internal grearing for such modularity? Separate gearbox as a option for slowing down a rotational speed and incresing torque?
