  1. Hey, I'm not invited at the party 8-|
  2. Thanks for this great review! I enjoyed reading it. These color issues are really bothering me. I just send a complaint to TLC via their website. I also asked what the cause is of these color problems. In the past they always responded (the answer was not always useful however), so let's see what their response will be...
  3. This is the right thread for posting "missing" MOCs that belong in the index! It's in again. Did you do some updates to the fortress Mr. Tordenskjold? Are you talking about a battle scene with your Imperial Guards? That would certainly belong in the Pirate MOC forum.
  4. Nice airplane oo7! I don't know if the colors are realistic (historical), but it looks good and that's what counts! Is it supposed to be the same model as the other plane in the pics?
  5. I like the interior with the arches and the steps down towards the docking level (I guess you will have some small boats enter via this level?). You seem to have a lot of bricks at your disposal to make all these great MOCs.
  6. Cafe Corner conquered in the name of the Senate and the People of the Galactic Empire :-D (thumb is link)
  7. I never played the game. There are no pirate fans in my neighborhood... Mr. Phes must be drinking again. ;-) Now it's changed. I've replace "used in" by "from" to make the title a bit shorter.
  8. Do you mean me or Imperial Scouts :S ? Anyway, it's corrected!
  9. I had seen such ships before. They are only designed to be used in the pirate game and are not much to look at. Suppose I would capture one of these ships, I would not take it as a prize but sink it instead. The world would be a more beautiful place without them :skel1:
  10. Simon, do you mean the 1800-1830 period or the 1910-1920 period?
  11. Having them in yellow might be better or it might not be. Maybe then you would not have enough color variation. For me, it looks good the way it is now.
  12. Judging from these pictures, this will be an impressive ship. How long have you been working on it already?
  13. You're probable right about the Cafe Corner. I like that set a lot, but if I can't find a way to make in fit in, then I'm not sure if I will buy it. Do you think it is possible to modify the cafe corner (a bit) to make it fit in a city between 1800-1830 or would this be impossible in your opinion?
  14. Good to see this MOC under discussion again! Why? Well, it has been (and still is) a great inspiration for me. Mainly because of this MOC I decided to make a Lego city (situated in the Napoleons time). And I will be doing a "city-trip" to Amsterdam somewhere in the course of this year to have a look at the architecture and get some idea's. The new Cafe's Corner would fit in very well, don't you think?
  15. My first impression: Wow, this looks extremely promising! I would make those status in grey iso black or white. But, this is a very refreshing design! Once the links to the old fortress are online, you can expect more feedback for me Mr. Z. Because right now, I don't have a good idea where these new buildings will be located in the current Fort Brighton.
  16. Oh dear, I need more sleep :-$ I also need to order some of those, since I have only 1 of them. So i could only make 1 of these cannons: I changed the red brick (you know which one) by a black one.
  17. Hey P, I don't think this cannon is already in the index?
  18. Wow, thats an impressive MOC you will be demonstrating. Welcome at Eurobricks. I'm looking forward to see the pictures of your event. Do you have any idea about the amount of people that will be displaying their MOCs? How big is the floorspace you have foreseen?
  19. It would be great I you guys could take some pictures at the event. About the MOCs in this thread, I really like this small fortress:
  20. Some nice sets you have bought. Will you use the parts for MOC-ing? I used the hull and masts of my Skull's eye Schooner for making the L'Orient. Do you always take insurance Mr. Tiber? I have never requested insurance and all my orders arrived (lets hope it stays like that).
  21. Very nice oo7. The 3rd smiley seems very sad!
  22. Edith Piaf - Milord
  23. I have been aware of it, but I had forgotten it again... Who added the external link to our forum in the Pirate LEGO Wikipedia article? Did you do that Mr. Phes?
  24. All my creations are supposed to be situated in the Napoleonic times. So that's around the year 1800. So in order to be realistic, this has to be a very old ship that was still in service...
