  1. You have a nice collection (and room). It's great to see all these classic space sets. Everything still seems to be in good shape. I also still have many old classic space sets, but especially the logo's aren't in such a good shape as yours are.
  2. The problem is with the focus. The camera should focus on the minfig, but in your pics it is focussed on the background.
  3. We already have the What are your favorite movies?-thread. So I've closed this one.
  4. Good questions... I really should experiment a bit with the program. Some of the customizer on CC are also starting to use this program and seem to be happy with it.
  5. I'm learning more about the Mameluks thanks to you guys. They certainly have an interesting history. Thanks oo7. I never thought about that. I happen to have some non-Lego rubber bands. I'll give this a try and see who it looks.
  6. Aaah yes, we all need heroes. It would be interesting to see some character developments for some of your heroes. What did they do to get where they are today. Especially for the guy who's in charge of that massive fortress of yours and the one that's in charge of the Phantom. Hero on!! (first time i use the "something" on thing :-D )
  7. It's always nice to have an early progress thread. Those carronades look pretty good. Did you also make one with real bricks? Well, I'm most interested to see how this project will evolve. Do you plan to make customs for the crew?
  8. Very nice pictures. You've done a good job in adding the backgrounds. I prefer the blue background. Don't have a good reason for that... And I like how those marines looks. White backpacks and white epauletes look good on those figs. How many figs of both groups do you plan to have?
  9. Nice! I enjoyed watching the construction of this Millennium Falcon. I've moved this to the Tie Army Forum and done some minor changes to the title.
  10. Why not make a Mexican army under command of Santa Anna. Our torso library contains all of the Mexican uniforms, so you could use custom decals. This will seriously reduce the price since you don't have to buy expensive minifigs.
  11. Am I allowed to post here? :-$ This seems like a private topic of cutlass_iz and SW4J. Nice find, good to see that classic cover of the Beatles (crossing the street) in Lego form. And gone I am... Sorry for the intrusion :-P
  12. Evil Willy, I know you are currently in your dark ages and girls are probably more important for you at this moment. But you were (and are) a nice and valuable member of this community. I hope you'll return one day and revive this (by then) old topic. Happy birthday !!
  13. I just love to see pictures of Lego armies. Yours looks very good. Great choice for the heads. How far are you planning to go with the expansion of this army? Are you planning to make a confederate army? Some battle scenes are always fun.
  14. Next year I'll do my best to attend the EB-event. Billund is about 850km from my home, so that's still doable by car.
  15. This seems like a very useful tool. I'll give it a try once it's on the EB server. I've moved this to "Website & Forums"
  16. Guys, I just returned from 2 days at the Ardennes and I'm surprised with your progress. I'm not a website developer, so I just look at the results and I think this is becoming something very special!
  17. Hello Doctor Sinister! Welcome at Eurobricks! Never be afraid to post something here. We're all very friendly ;-) You town looks great. You shouldn't be afraid to compare it with the other town-MOCs in this forum. There is a part in the movie where the camera appears to be mounted on a Lego train. How did you do that?
  18. You could do all that... I usually just print them on paper and put these on my ships :-D
  19. Wow, that looks good Hinckley!! I'm happy you are already thinking of integrating it with CP. Would it be possible (i really have now idea) to be able to download the selected torso? Like there would be a link under the composed minifig that says: Download this torso! And every time you click on another torso the link is automatically updated. Or would there be another/better/easier way to do this? EDIT: What do you guys think of this? I tried to fit it all a bit better on the classic-pirates template. Just something I quickly did in PSP (used the same torso, head and legs in this because I was too lazy to copy some others). EDIT2: Maybe something like this is even better? It would solve the "download problem" because you can just right-click on the torso and save it.
  20. I was just about to write that ;-) X-D :-P Maybe we should have some more private forums... :-D
  21. Welcome back! This ship really has the right looks for a river/canal boat. I never considered using these hull pieces for a ship like this, but the result is quite good. I agree with SW4J that the brown in the hull is a bit strange, but lets think of it as being iron with brown paint (i.s.o. wood) ;-)
  22. Long ago, I've build 2 ironclads (I still have them). Here' my CSS Virginia (only the part that's above the water is visible in this picture): And here's my monitor: Couldn't we use these to attack Z's fortress? Just joking, Z is too friendly to attack him. We better find ourselves some evil pirates to fight with.
  23. You've really constructed a big beast (not meant as ugly ;-) ). It could easily ram the Armada flagship and not even notice they hit something. Good idea to take a picture of the 2 ships.
  24. This looks like a ship from a fantasy movie. My first thought was "what's going on with the stern?", but then I started reading and discovered you did that on purpose. I like this ship. It certainly has character!
