Certainly! We'll even get a better index thanks to the shutdown of BS :-D Thanks for the update Asuka!

Indeed, with all the BS problems, this will need to wait...

You're photo skills have improved Z. And you've done a good job on adding all the background. This is my favorit pic. Great action scene!
-
Welcome at Eurobricks Sir Norman Ray !! Here's an easy tutorial to help you resize those big pictures. I just love armies. I can't get enough of them. Do you plan some battle-scenes?
-
Most certainly... Once this is done, we still need a solution for the other indexes. I'll start thinking what we can do for those. However, the torso library and sail index are already saved and stored on my personal webspace. Our pirate regulator, Mr. Phred, is taking care of the cannon and accessories index. He also did a backup of all the pictorial reviews. So we're making progress...

You did a perfect job with row 22 ! I've assigned two more rows to you (row 24 and row 25). Wow, 5 rows! Thanks Berry. The rows are 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 I'll send a PM with the username/password of the photobucket-account. Thanks Mr. Phes. But we still have 3 rows without a name... Can I put yours on one of those ;-)
-
Thanks! I've put your name up for row 22. PM send with username/pwd *y* That's row 23. PM Send! Thanks Z. We'll see where we are on Thursday. Once we have the ships saves, we'll be looking at the land based.

Will you take some pictures? Did you use the version with the red belt? I have 10 mamelukes ready. I'll take some pics as soon as I have time.
-
You can add more pictures of your own ships later. Or we can change the link for your ships to wherever you like. But that will have to wait till August because we are all quite busy right now trying to save what we can. So Mr. Norrington, do you feel ready to save a row?

Brickshelf will go off-line in 14 days and all the pictures in the Index: MOC ships will be lost if we don't take action immediately !! How can you help save the INDEX: MOC Ships? I have created an account on http://photobucket.com We'll backup the 5 best images from each gallery/ship by saving them on this photobucket account. The index consists of 33 rows (numbered from 1 to 33). Each row contains 5 Brickshelf-galleries (lets call those a, b, c, d, e). So the 3rd ship in row 5 is "5c". You login, go to the album: pirate-forum>index-ship-mocs (take a few moments to see how it all works once logged in). Here you must make a "sub-album" for each ship that you will upload. I already did the first row, so you'll already see sub-albums 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e. Practical example: When you agree to backup row 2, you'll need to download 5 images from each of the 5 Brickshelf-galleries to your PC. Once that is done, you login at photobucket (with the username/password that I will provide via PM). Click on the sub-album called "index-ship-mocs". Here you create 5 new sub-albums (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e), one for each Brichshelf gallery of row 2. Now move the correct 5 pictures to the each of those new sub-albums (make sure you are inside the correct sub-album when you upload the pics). Important remarks: - When downloading the pictures from Brickshelf, make sure you download the actual pictures and not the thumbnails. - Make sure you are inside the correct sub-album when uploading the pictures to photobucket. A mistake is easily made. Just reply in this thread which row(s) you want to backup and I'll send you a PM with the username and password of the account on http://photobucket.com. I you think this is too complicated for you, please don't respond. Thanks for your help in these dark times !! B. EDIT 1: I don't know if 2 users can login in parallel, so maybe you need to wait a bit if you can't login immediately. EDIT 2: Please wait until I have put your name in the list. People are contacting me via various ways and we don't want to start saving the same row ;-). EDIT 3: Here's a screenshot to make things a bit clearer: Once sub-album 3a is created, go inside the sub-album and upload the 5 pics you selected for that ship. List of the ROWS and who will do backups: 1. Bonaparte - DONE 2. hinckley39 - DONE 3. Holodoc - DONE 4. Copmike - DONE 5. Copmike - DONE 6. Copmike - DONE 7. Copmike - DONE 8. Copmike - DONE 9. I'll try to get something organized since BS will go offline at the end of the month. But there are some many ships in this index. It will be hard to save all. Idea's are welcome.... Edit: If you wanna help save this index, go to this thread.

Moved! But I don't have an answer. This sometimes just happens. I can think of many reasons....

Excellent work !!

Being an Adventurers fan, you must be exited about the new Indy series? Welcome on this friendly board!! Have fun...

Can you make that pic smaller Aayla? It is really too big to post like it is. If help is needed, have a look at the Tutorials Index.

What's the total amount of shako's you have a present day? Just curious ;-) Oh and I have another question. What flags or standards did you use for your cavalry? It's hard to tell from the pics. I would assume the different cavalry units (hussars, cuirrasiers, mamelukes, ...) had different flags. I'm looking for some to download and print since I'm working on my French cavalry. B.

Like BM already indicated, you should visit our Pirate LEGO Customs forum. Those guys will be able to help you!

Very nice! Never thought of this. Interesting find Mr. Norro !
-
You've made a scary beast Hinckley. When it catches me, I'll probably scare to death (is this a correct expression?) before I'm eaten :-D . And it's nice to see the pictures of this animal in action. Monster ON !!

You are right of course, SLR's are the best camera's. My main reason for not buying an SLR was the size of the camera. I like to walk in the mountains, but I don't want carry a big camera. Also, I wouldn't dare to take an expensive SLR with me to the beach. Are we helping you Zouave? :-D
-
A Nikon D80 is a great camera... But for taking pictures of non-moving objects, I don't really see the advantage of buying an SLR. I guess this must sound like Chinese for someone who is not into photography. SLR means Single-lens reflex camera, more info can be found in this wiki article.
