  1. I have no idea where you keep on finding these oo7. That pirate village is just awesome. Keep those great finds coming !!
  2. I'm seeing armies everywhere these days... Is that officer drinking while on duty? Serious, it's nice to see this fine army of yours. And I'm happy they are not wearing shako's (they are rare enough).
  3. Wow, what do we have here.... How long did you work in this MOC? It looks sooo very good. I just love the way you organized all the figs to take that last picture (of the French attack). And I like your story. Let's execute on of our members as a sacrifices for the Wind God. Don't want a hurricane to destroy the islanders village X-D
  4. I just love this fort! Really, I'm not exaggerating. The overall look and all the scenery is great. It all just looks right: the roof, the walls with the red parts, the arch next to the tower. You clearly put a lot of effort in this MOCs!
  5. Looking good Mr. Tiber. I like those 2 guns on the back of the ship. I'll wait with more comments till I see some close-ups.
  6. Nice, a futuristic pirate ship. You've managed to make the skull (especially the mouth and teeth) look very dangerous/spooky. The access door is well integrated and hidden in the hull. I really like how this is done. I was unfamiliar with the Mark Sandlin's theme, so thanks to you I've learned something new today ;-)
  7. This thread is identical to this one: The Kraken by Mr. Tiber. Please use search function... Topic closed!
  8. 1. You posted this in the wrong forum 2. You already created an identical topic in the Pirate LEGO MOCs 3. Yesterday I had to close two of your "contest-topics". 4. Stop writing messages that just contain "YAY", "hes awsome", "woa", ... 5. I'm trying to remain calm ..... Topic closed!
  9. Interesting !! But no need to merge since that other topic was about all the stuff on TWLUG's exhibition, while this one is about only 1 MOC.
  10. What? An army that is bigger than my French army? I can't let that happen. Bricklink tonight :-D Serious, you have an incredible collection of minifigs Madoka. The reason why I don't call it an army yet, is because it still lacks organization. I would organize these troops in regiments, corps, make flags and standards. Are you still planning to do things like this? However, it's great to see all these figs ! Arms race ON !!
  11. Topic closed! Same reason for closing this thread.
  12. Mr. skilzz1, I'm not against any contest. But organizing a contest requires some minimal preparation (rules, when does it start/end, how is the winner chosen, ...). This should all be explained in detail in the first post so there is no confusion. It is obvious that you didn't give this much thought... Since you are new to this board, I would appreciate if you just participate for a while without starting "contests" and stuff like that. Topic closed!
  13. I agree with that observation. This has also been on my mind. That's indeed a bits strange.
  14. How much soldiers with shako's do you have in your army?
  15. This is actually funny, I think I'll just start a new thread and write "blablabla" in the first post. Then you can all start guessing what the meaning of that thread is and what it is I want to achieve with it X-D
  16. Welcome at Eurobricks !! You have a might army at your command. I can't think of anyone who would dare to start a war with you :-D How long did it take you to collect this army?
  17. Sometimes I'm really impressed with what you can make with Lego. This is one of these occasions !! You did an awesome job Henning. And welcome at Eurobricks. I hope you will share some other MOCs with us.
  18. Welcome at Eurobricks V1 !! It's good to read that you encourage your son to play with Lego. Is the MOC still intact?
  19. Could you explain what the purpose is of this thread? I've ready your post again and again, but I just don't understand. Anyway, welcome at Eurobricks !
  20. Happy birthday to the both of you !!
  21. Very nice sheets Mr. Norrington, but I have to move this to the community-forum because this is doesn't belong in the Pirate LEGO Discussions-forum.
  22. Might I ask what the purpose is of this question?? I have CS3 but use PSP iso Photoshop.
  23. You guys seem to have a nice little OFF-TOPIC discussion.... So let's stop that and go back to the shako under discussion !! I've added a picture in the first post so we all see what we are talking about. This is one of these Chinese clone brands, but it is interesting to see what their shako looks like. It is different from the official Lego shako. The main difference is "the plume". I prefer the Lego shako. It's plume looks better than this one. But if these were available in big amounts (for a reasonable price), I would consider buying them. Thanks Madoka for this interesting find !
  24. I just noticed that I never answered your question in the Eifel Tower thread. So let me do that now... I took the assumption that an average person is 1,80m. Then I measured the height of a minifig (4 cm) which is 45 times smaller that 1,80m.
  25. I've seen all the Sharpe tv shows. Bought them on DVD about 1 year ago. If you guys want to see a good Lego website dedicated to the Sharpe series, have a look at this one: Lego Sharpe - Friends & Foe. I'm hosting it on my personal webspace, but I'm not the creator of this website. I was able to take a full backup before the real website went offline. I just couldn't bare to see this beautiful site get lost...
