I paid $0.5 per musket. But you can easily pay double if you want to :-D Not only muskets are getting expensive, same goes for the shako's, the red epaulettes, ... I don't think it is still possible at this moment to raise a big army of Imperial Soldiers or Guards. Not unless you are a very rich person.

After thinking about it for about 7 months, I finally decided to buy the new Flintlock model :-D . Just placed an order on Bricklink for 100 Flintlock muskets for my French army.

Apparently this happens sometimes on these boards when the first post is edited. There seems to be no better explanation. Anyway, I give his ship 3/5. It was my first pirate ship ever. I think the skull and bones on the large sail is a bit too much. I've reproduced that sail in paper and removed that skull and bones. Also, I'm not so happy about the rotating canon concept. And it should have some kind of wheel. But with some minor changes this becomes an excellent ship.

Indeed, what Christopher Lee does is incredible. He's still making movies at this moment and he is 85 by now. No, Sean is just too lazy to make another movie :-(

The kings army looks great. Nice torso's with a lot of silver/gray, good color for the helmets. And those shields with the crown emblem remind me of the original castle sets. All we need it that chess-game and the real army building can start.

Jep, I found out yesterday. And it makes me really sad to hear this. Maybe the real reason is Sean Connery's physical condition. I can imagine that someone from 76 years old is not in top shape.

Yesterday I've read some bad news in the newspaper. Sean Connery said that he likes his retirement and will not play a role in the new Indy movie. Also in the Internet Movie DataBase, he was part of the cast-list (rumored behind his name), but now he's removed.

That's really sad news :-( :-( :-( Like myself, Erik was a member of the Dutch forum De Bouwsteen. I haven't bought the new 10190 Market Street set yet, but I really like it. He is a great loss.

Nice story! Those brothers seem like some mean guys, ready to shoot anyone who stands in their way. But their ranch is beautiful! It doesn't feel like a first attempt. All it needs are some cows (why did Lego never make these?). (The duplicate post has been deleted as you requested).

You're right, it could be under "military" or "harbor". Mr. Phred is taking care of updating the MOC indexes, so I'll leave it up to him ;-) I have a feeling this MOC is too impressive to just put it in the index...

It nice to see this in real Lego! It's looking really good, but I would go for a different color for the door. Those pictures are rather big. Takes me 10 seconds to load just one. Maybe you can resize them? Here's the Batch Image Resize Tutorial.
