  1. You will get many different answers to this question. I recently bought a Canon IXUS 850IS. My main motives for buying this one: - It is very small - Has a wide angle ! - Very user-friendly interface. But maybe your camera is ok. Most of the time pics look bad because of poor light. You should try to take them outside in the garden. And make sure the camera focuses on the Lego.
  2. This is just amazing. This is one of the best Lego trucks I've seen. But to build a complete mobile service-station inside a trailer... wow !! All those details make this even better. I'm talking about the engine of the truck, the inside of the cabin, the shop in the trailer. Now I'll go and have another look the pics. Can't get enough of them.
  3. Hello Pedro ! You are very welcome here. I hope you have fun (and share some of your MOCs).
  4. Thanks Christian for this overview! All my hopes are on the Indy sets. Too much police...
  5. Aaron, Might I ask what the purpose is of posting this message on this public forum :-/ . If you have an argument with Paul Sinasohn (is he even a member of EB?), I would suggest you contact him via PM or email directly. B.
  6. I never tried to make a head-decal. This one looks very promising, but I should really see it on a head to judge it properly.
  7. Not something I would build, but it's a good looking car and a nice find !! I was browsing a bit in the BS-folder of the creator. Seems he likes to use black for his vehicles.
  8. These are very detailed and amongst the best you ever made. Good to see you are still improving and perfecting your skills *y* .
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks! Have fun !! Did you build any pirate of castle MOCs?
  10. You've build a great ship! I just love it. I hope to find some extra pictures once the Brickshelf-folder is moderated. You are welcome to borrow from the L'Orient. I'm a big fan of a well integrated cabin and you got it just right. I would have used 3 studs between the guns in stead of 2. We had lots of debate on this when I was building L'Orient :-D . I agree with Z. on the mast placements. For a ship like this (with 3 masts), I've used the HMS Rose as a model. Here is the picture (from the Rose) that I used to calculate the positions of the mast of L'Orient.
  11. We can never have enough pirate and castle fans! Welcome at Eurobricks... Have fun !!
  12. I have a feeling this thread is already starting to be a discussion on religion ;-) I'll not share my views on religion and believes because I don't see the point. If there is a higher creature (God) or a higher purpose in life, I would be very disappointed if we (humans) could understand it. So how can we even start to discuss something like this? Let's not open this box of Pandora...
  13. Welcome at EB !! I hope you have fun on these boards.
  14. Nope, there was no Wellington actor. I'd prefer they used the sand of this ugly Pyramid to restore the hill to it's original shape and hight. I don't like how it changes part of the original battlefield...
  15. Religion, beliefs and politics are very personal and I don't see the point to have "discussions" about such subjects. Certainly not on a forum like EB where the core business is Lego. So a dedicate forum doesn't seem like a good idea to me. But you can always start a discussion in the Community-forum (All the chit-chat and fun that belongs nowhere else :-)) as a test-case and we'll see how this goes.
  16. I did hear something about taxes on the german highways some time ago. Don't know if they were talking about trucks or cars. Maybe they were just thinking about it. Probably some of our German members can clarify this.
  17. You are a fast cookie ;-) I was still editing and messing with the first post.
  18. Added a poll. And I've edited the first post to have the pics in the same order as the poll choices. My vote went to the viking style dragon. They are the most developed of the 3 dragons.
  19. That's funny, I was just checking how big of a detour it would be for me to pick you up in Maastricht. It would be about 65km extra, so that's very doable. The total would be 925km. And it don't think there are any taxes for using the German highways? Or has this changed recently?
  20. Very nice job! I really like those British uniforms from the great war.
  21. Hello Errorist!! You are very welcome on this forum. I also need to wait to give comments on your ship because the folder isn't moderated yet. A deeplink could overcome this. Here is all the info on deeplinks: How to "deeplink".
  22. It seems you have put most of your resources in your French army. You'll be needing lots of shako's for this one. Hopefully some custom shako's will become available in the future... I think it's best to keep this thread in the MOC forum. The thread is not focusing on the customs but it's about the army Fordo is creating. Else when someone posts a MOC ship with some custom crew members, then we'd also have to move this to the customs forum.
  23. This is a beauty Hinckley. You didn't make a mighty frigate like the most of us, so it's refreshing to see your Pleasure Yacht. I have the same remark as Z, making the main mast a bit higher would be an improvement. Now, let me come to the best part of this ship: The figurehead. This is soooo impressive. It is most probably the best figurehead that has been seen on this forum. This ship doesn't need cannons to scare enemies. The figurehead will do the job. This must be the first thread you started in the pirate forum. I hope it is not your last ;-) .
