  1. Thanks Mosana! Your the first to contribute a sail. A question, is this scan on 1:1 scale? When I print it, it turns out a lot smaller than the real size. Mr. Tiber will be in charge of this index, so I'll let him do the updating.
  2. He does look a bit old, but I'm happy they didn't decide to take another (younger) actor. I'm very much looking forward to this movie.
  3. Would this be a torso for Line Infantry?
  4. This library contains 1:1 scans for all the sails of the pirate theme. We are counting on you to help complete this library. The ones we still miss are listed below. If you own one of the missing sails and are willing to make a scan, we'll add them. We will also include custom sails in the library. Please use the same dimensions as the ones in the library, so people can give their ships a facelift by changing all the sails with customs. 5. Bonnie Bianco - Miss you so
  6. So my uniform is in line with this description, except for the blue sash. I was planning to give my Mamelukes normal yellow heads with beards and mustaches.
  7. There's another one: Fordo's British Army
  8. I plan to add a Mameluk cavalry regiment to my Napoleonic army. Here is a prototype of a mameluk: It is based on this official torso that was recreated by Lamanda2: After color modification: The colors of the minifig (legs, arms, torso) are based on this design I found on the internet: What do you guys think? Does anyone have remarks or suggestions? Better to ask for them now because once I start mass production it will be too late... EDIT: Here's a version with a red belt. Looks better when the minifig sits on a Lego horse.
  9. I prefer a custom, because it might be expensive to buy 10 official torso's for making my Mameluk cavalry. I've been experimenting a bit. I'll open a separate thread for my Mameluks.
  10. I wonder what would be the most representative uniform for a Mameluk in Napoleons army. You find lots of different pictures on the internet, so it difficult for me to select one that I will use to make my Lego Mameluk cavalry.
  11. You made us wait a long time for these Mr. Fordo. But it was worth the waiting. You have an incredible army. Your Mameluk cavalry is fantastic. That's something I don't have yet, but seeing yours, I'm gonna go to Bricklink right after writing this post. I'm also looking forward to some better pics. If you make these with real daylight (in the garden) the quality will already be much better.
  12. Can you tell me exactly which one you would want me to remove or change? But lets do that in your customs thread.
  13. You're right, these look even better. I've update the library.
  14. I've split the library over 2 posts because we seem to have reached a limitation of the board (max of links per post). Can an admin confirm there is such a maximum?
  15. Should I replace the old ones with these new versions in the torso library or keep them both?
  16. I don't think anyone here can produce the high quality pieces you make, so don't worry about that (please speak if anyone disagrees). I like the idea of a removable plume! Maybe we should start by collection some pictures of shako's to get a better idea what they look like. Here's a french napoleonic Shako (grenadier du 4
  17. Shako's are getting rare and expensive. Not available in the quantities they are needed. I suggest you read all the 8 pages of this thread before asking such questions !!
  18. You are very welcome here! Enjoy!!
  19. Could you make a custom Islander torso Mr. Tiber?
  20. This would fit very well next to the Cafe Corner and Market Street. I like the 2 stairs of this building and the way the roof in constructed. Also you've done a good job in integrating the balcony with the pillars underneath. But I would prefer a bit more color in the design. Would it be possible to resize your pictures a bit. Pics that are bigger than 800x600 are too big for most screens. In this thread you find all the tutorials you need: Tutorials Index.
  21. This must be the best Lego dragon I've ever seen. Those wings are just incredible. But the entire scenery with those big trees is very good. I would have liked a picture from above, showing the back of the dragon.
  22. I'm currently working a library containing all the official sails. I'll include this one as well (I just hope I still have it on my other pc, but I'm quite certain its there). I took a scan of the original sail and basically drew a new one in Coreldraw over this scanned version.
  23. I still haven't bought the CC or MS. But reviews like this make me wanna buy them instantly. Thanks for this Legocastlegirl !!
  24. Welcome at Eurobricks. Have fun !!!
  25. Hello Armothe !! I'm very happy you could join our discussion. A quick check in this topic tells me that selling between 500-1000 shako's (initially) will not be a problem. But it's my feeling that once people are satisfied with the quality, many more will be bought (myself included!). They are used for army building, and armies need lots of soldiers! How much sales should you have to make it worthwhile for you to produce them? Personally I would like a identical copy of the official shako. I already have about 400 official shako's and I would like to have more that look (almost) identical. Those of us who want can always do some modification by using some paint or glue some paper ornaments to the shako. Thanks again for registering and welcome at Eurobrick !!
