  1. Since this thread is turning out to be a MOC-thread, I've moved this to our pirate MOC forum. Also I've resized the picture and put it in the first post (together with a link to the gallery). Let me know I you want me to change the title or description of this thread. Now that we've done those formalities, welcome to Eurobricks !! Your ship has great promise. I like the shape and size. Also the sails are well done. The mix of colors has already been discussed, so I won't say anything more on that subject. I would love to see more ships from you in the future. Btw, does this ship have a name?
  2. You certainly managed to give this ship a cartoonish look. It has a nice shape and the colors are just right for a fantasie ship like this one. Now all it needs are sails...
  3. I'm happy to hear that! That picture in your signature looks very frightening.
  4. I've moved this to the discussions forum since minifig has no custom made parts nor is it a "traditional" MOC.
  5. The white line can go a bit up at the back of the ship. This way you could leave the black plates. But I would keep the same height for the white line everywhere. A VIP? Isn't that Frans Bauer on the quaterdeck? :-P
  6. Looking very good Mr. Tiber!! I would make the white line go all the way to the back of the ship. Here are some quick previews. I think it looks much better this way!
  7. This is a great set. It has a very high playability level. I would integrate the door and those "artillery pieces" in a MOC. They are really excellent as the starting point of a great MOC.
  8. Nice towel! Is this a big one? Like those you sometimes see at the beach?
  9. Welcome Lord Beckett! We can never have enough people from Belgium ;-) I have a question. Where do you live in Belgium? I always hope that someone who lives very close to me registers here...
  10. Not easy to choose one... I voted for Copmike. My numbers 2 and 3 are Yoda and Holodoc. Excellent picture compilation Hinckley!
  11. No worries! I'll close this topic.
  12. Well, I would keep the numbering system, but we could add some more info after the number. Like "15a - ship-name by creator-name". I also have to check which ships still need to be backed up so we can finish this job.
  13. No, I don't think the stern is too high. It looks very well integrated. It looks good on this ship!
  14. Those Mounties are awesome! Very simple, but still very convincing as Mounties. Were did you get the idea to make Mounties?
  15. 31 years old... that's old :-D Oh help, I will become 31 in about 1 month :'-( Welcome on this friendly board! I might visit one of your Spanish beaches this summer.
  16. No problem Nr Tuber ;-) :-D
  17. Those are nice ships indeed. And the price might be reasonable since they are not that big. I've resized that pic a bit for you Mr. T ;-)
  18. Well, they were designed by Dark Lord to be used as medieval torso's. But especially the women (and some of the male ones) are very suited for pirates.
  19. How boring would the life of a pirate be without some busty women :-D I discovered these extraordinary torso's on MCN. They fit very well in any pirate MOC. The title is meant to draw people to this thread ;-). The creator is Lord Doom. I will invite him to this thread in a few day from now. These are sooo original and well designed. I will print some and try how they look on a minfig. The busty pirate women: Some pirates: The whole Flickr Gallery: L0RD D00M's TORSO TREASURY's
  20. Have a nice birthday!!
  21. I've moved this to the History & Adventure forum so it is in the same place as the Haunted Mansion Contest.
  22. You live in Antwerp... I work in the city of Antwerp, but live in Nijlen (20 km outside of Antwerp). It's great to have a pirate fan on the board the lives close !! It's funny, because I was just looking at you BS-folder 1 hour ago. This heavy frigate looks very promising. I'm actually very fond of one of you other ships, Le Bonheur. What do you mean with "the one i will probably buy". Will this new ship of yours be available from Lego factory (I'm not very familiar with how that works) or will you buy the pieces on BL. Is Le Bonheur available at Lego factory? Do you have a direct link?
  23. Look what I found: Edit: Seems like the are made by one of our members (Errorist) who just started a new WIP topic.
  24. Our Mr. Phred is in charge of the indexes. I'm sure he won't forget to add this beauty.
  25. I have to ask, what do you do for a living? You don't have to answer.... ;-)
