  2. It means that I think men and women are equal Or maybe I just made a typo and there should have been a "+" instead.
  3. This movie is indeed EPIC! It makes me want to get all my minifig armies out of storage and build a big battlefield diorama. Thanks for sharing!!
  4. If it's general feedback, not linked to a specific moderation case for example, then just post it here. Else drop me, or any other staff member, a PM. If this is about what I think it is, then your feedback has already reached the staff from your PM conversation with one of the moderators.
  5. I love this ship, it looks simply amazing! I can't think of any improvements, it is perfect. I really like how you didn't overdo the ornaments and kept it's looks pretty 'basic'. I also especially like the looks of the outside of the cabin. And a perfect job with the rigging and the stunning weary looking sails. (frontpaged on EB)
  6. After one and a half years of effort Mr. Townsend is presenting his stunning 14 gun brig-of-war "Pinnacle". If the new LEGO ships that's coming early 2015 looks anything like this I'm buying 10 copies. More pictures are here in our Pirates forum.
  7. Thanks for setting this up!! I'll check my size and drop you a PM soon with my order.
  8. Sub theme: Trade Union (or a more sexy name) I'm thinking about of fleet of trade ships and trading posts, similar to the famous Dutch trading company VOC. This stands for Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie, roughly translated as "Dutch East India Company" or "United East India Company". There have been so many (too many) pirates ships produced by LEGO but never a real trading faction. When I look to the success of 'normal life' sets in the medieval time frame (medieval market village, etc.) I'm pretty convinced that also in the world of Pirates such civilian sets would be doing well. At least I would buy them :). There can be no pirates if there are no innocent trade ships to hunt, attack and capture!
  9. I had to do a bit of rearranging of the groups to make sure we have the right amount of cars in each group. Please have a look at the first post for the updated groups. Note that the groups are only for few activities, so no worries if your best friend is not in your group
  10. LEGO has just confirmed the return of Pirates At least one set (pirate ship) will come early next year. Go here for the discussion.
  11. This is so exiting! I hope LEGO has been paying attention for all the fantastic MOC ships that have been posted here on the forum and did a good job designing this new ship.
  12. Rolli, 2 Huskies for me please. Thank you!!!
  13. Our staff member Whitefang has done an in-depth review of the LEGO Simpsons Collectible Minifigure Series. Go here to view the review.
  14. Welcome!
  15. Going good, but we need more cars still. Currently we can move 32 persons and we are with 53. There must be more people with cars, I'm sure.
  16. I just realize that I have to make sure in each of the 4 groups there are enough cars to transport all the people in the group. Based on this I might need to re-arrange the groups a bit if needed. So who is coming by car to the event? Unless you say otherwise I'll assume the car can fit 5 people (like 99% of all cars can). List of cars: - Bonaparte - Rolli - Cecilie - D&Bfenz - Duq - L@go (2, maybe 5) - Lasse D - Ecclessiates - Rufus/Pandora - Mechamike - Cwetqo - Morten - Henning M. Total capacity so far is 62 persons.
  17. Very nice project! I love it because it comes with minimal ornaments, and so is focussed on being functional. It looks like a very seawothy ship. I have a ship of this size in the making for some time and this is inspiring me to finish it.

  22. I am pretty sure we could continue for many more posts with legal arguments of what's allowed and what's not. However, in the end we are not lawyers (at least I'm not) but LEGO fans and members of the online LEGO community. So seen from the LEGO community angle I think it's important to have respect for the wishes of Baronsat, a fellow community member, when using his instructions. For me that's what it boils down to. If you do not agree with Baronsat's way of working then up to you to make your very own 'My Own Creation'. Let's please halt the 'legal discussion' and get back to discuss the actual model.

Here's a random example of how to vote: For each of the entries you can click on the URL behind 'Entry #' to see more pictures.
