Increased attachment file size
Bonaparte replied to Zerobricks's topic in Forum Information and Help
For my info, are there free hosting sites supporting uploading and linking LDD files? -
I think EB staff should be as nice a possible all the time. There could maybe be occasions when there's a history of repeating issues with a certain member and a moderator might lose it's temper since they are only human. But still, in an ideal world (and an ideal Eurobricks) a moderator should never lose it's temper and always remain patient with members who make mistakes (but when there are possibly bad intentions then it is another thing). I'm speaking in general and don't know the specific events that Therize and BirdOPrey5 are referring to. Feel free to drop me a PM with links to those cases and I'd be happy to look into them.

The coming weekend it's the 2nd edition of Brick Mania Limburg here in Belgium (a BeLUG event). The location is close to both the border of The Netherlands and Germany so easily reachable. More info and discussion topic is here.

I just had a visit from Holodoc (and his 2 sons) and Aredhel on their way to Calais via Belgium. The weather is going to be great and I'm sure the event will be equally fantastic.

Tomorrow, on the 25th of April, I'm organizing for the 2nd time a LEGO event called 'Blokjesfestival' together with Captain Green Hair and a local organisation (KWB Nijlen). It's a family event with less focus on displays (although you can expect 2 nice and big ones!) but more on guided building contests for kids (with some support and help from parents, grandparents and family). Location is Nijlen, Belgium. More info is here.

On the 25th of April I'm organizing for the 2nd time a LEGO event called 'Blokjesfestival' together with Captain Green Hair and a local organisation (KWB Nijlen). It's a family event with active participation from everyone. Location: Parochiezaal OLV, Nijlen, Belgium. Date: 25th of April 2015, 10h-18h. Entrance: 2 euro Some info about this event: The focus is on building contests for kids. Each hour a new building contest starts around a theme that's being announced by our jury (a group of school teachers and Captain Green Hair). The kids, possibly with some help from their family, can work on their MOC for ~40 minutes until the jury passes. There will be prizes :) For the very small kids there's a DUPLO corner. And there'll be 2 big displays: 1/ A big castle/medieval/farm display by Bart Michielsen (BeLUG) 2/ A big city display by Captain Green Hair (Rick Bewier), myself and a local supporter. There will also be a LEGO cinema. And of course there will be food and drinks.

Are these issues only in forums with the pirate skin, or also in forum with other skins?
-
Yes, Spring is in the air, you can feel it everywhere... also here on Eurobricks with our new skin made by our graphics master Hinckley. Can you feel it? (Discussion topic is here)

"Vive L’Empereur!" 200th Anniversary of Napoleon's R
Bonaparte replied to Gary The Procrastinator's topic in Pirate MOCs
Thanks for celebrating this important day in my life! If only I could have finished the damn English at Waterloo we'd be having this conversation in French. Any chance you'll be visiting Belgium in the future? I'd be happy to give you a tour of the Waterloo battlefield.- 33 replies

MOC/MOD Imperial Bluecoat Fort, Trading Post, Coastal Battery
Bonaparte replied to Dunedain's topic in Pirate MOCs
That's quite a lively 'town' you've made. Lot's of action and lot's of stuff happening. Kinda reminds me of Nassau from the Black Sails series I'm watching. Btw, I've changed the title of your topic into lowercase (titles in all uppercase are not allowed per our forum regulations)- 14 replies

Can you share following info: - exact firefox version - screenshot of the problem -
Simply stunning E! I'm building a medieval MOC myself (together with Captain Green Hair) on 6 32x32 plates and it's already a massive job. I can only begin to imaging what it takes to make something on 4 by 6 48x48. There's some much detail in this I'd love to see it with my own eyes. Any plans for displaying at a public event?
