  1. No, but people might start assuming things if it was just me and you at the event
  2. 20 confirmed and counting! Thanks God it won't just be me an Copmike at the event
  3. That's one chalet for the 2 of you (as like last time), right? I'd love to meet the Dutch raccoon, so keep working on him Since you live in Denmark, do you need accommodations?

  5. Welcome at Eurobricks! In my experience 'collecting only' gets boring after 1-2 years and if not complemented/replaced by MOCing a new (permanent) dark age often starts. So good call on going for MOCs
  6. Just called the camping manager. We should get the 2014 prices by end of this week
  7. Very nice work Ecclesiastes! The building and surroundings would fit right in any of the 'man with no name' westerns (only those didn't have any indians, but that's a detail ).
  8. I should get the final 2014 prices for the chalets any day now after which we can start booking
  9. For me Bricklink doesn't load right now... Maybe some startup issues...
  10. In the 'what kind of AFOL are you' discussion several mentioned they are not part of a LUG as none are in their neighborhood. Well, it seems AFOLs living in Africa didn't have any LUG on their own continent till recently the first African LUG was founded. Find out more about GauLUG, the first African LUG (based in South Africa), in this topic in our forums. If anyone wants info, or knows someone who'd been looking to join a LUG in Africa, let us know.

  12. I personally always use Google to search EB. I understood it is a limitation of mysql not allowing to search for words with 3 characters or less. So it's not an Invision forum restriction, but a restriction of the database we use.
  13. Access granted. Welcome in the RA!!!
  14. Recently Hispabrick Magazine interviewed Jan Beyer, LEGO Community, Engagement and Events Team, in which Jan stated following: What kind of AFOL are you? Are you a member of a LUG? Are you actively participating in your LUG? If yes, what do you do (e.g. helping out during events, making displays, etc.)? If no, what's holding you back? Would you consider supporting more actively the online AFOL community (e.g. Eurobricks) as moderator, regulator (indexing, ...), making set reviews, etc.? If the answer is yes, where do you possibly see yourself contributing? If the answer is no, what's the reason (e.g. lack of time, ...)? Looking forward to read your feedback. The discussion topic in our forums is here.

  16. Currently the provide is doing scheduled server maintenance. It's possible they need to do some more server reboots in the coming hours.
  17. Welcome Conor!
  18. Our very own WhiteFang continues the tradition and brings us a review of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11. Head over to our Special Themes forum for the review.
  19. Welcome to the Eurobricks team JopieK!
  20. Eurobricks member VFracingteam has spent the last 2 months working on this replica of the SL Gabon which plies the waters of Gabon, Africa. The statistics speak for themselves: Dimensions - 193 x 50 studs Weight - 35 kg Parts - ~38000 The hull structure is made entirely from Technic beams and pins, while the superstructure is mostly System. He invented this building style for ships and seems to be the only one using it, though probably not for long! Wander over to the Technic, Mindstorms, & Model Team forum and see if you can tell the difference between the model and the real thing. (You can read about the construction of this masterpiece in another topic).
  21. It should be possible I think. I suggest you drop the camping an email to make sure.
  22. Because you have a weird name Alisdeer
  23. I agree with Quarry. There's a lot to do and see in Billund, but the first reason for me joining an EB event is the people. My best EB event ever was 2 years ago in Windsor because of all the nice people, interesting talks, exchange of idea's, talks about our beloved hobby, etc. Also this years event in Gunzburg was very nice (I'll put it at the 2nd spot of best EB event ever), even when in Gunzburg is not close to Billund when it concerns pure LEGO stuff. In the first place our events are about the finest LEGO community: Eurobricks.com. For the next events I want to put more focus on Eurobricks. For example, have some workshops around our community, Brainstorm on idea's for the future, etc.
