Does Anyone Know If LEGO Still Has The Jurassic World License?
Tom Jurassic replied to Tom Jurassic's topic in LEGO Licensed
Very interesting - thank you for the information, Captain Nemo. There are rumours that the original film may see a theatrical re-release next year, so maybe there really is a chance of us getting LEGO Jurassic Park sets... -
Hey All, Just a question I am interested in as with the 25th Anniversary for Jurassic Park next year, it could potentially be that previous JP ideas have been axed in favour of sets releasing next year? Wild speculation of course, but there is talk of a 25th Anniversary toyline in addition to Jurassic World 2 toys, so I hope that we still see LEGO for the license. It is important to note that Mattel (Who own Mega Construx) have the master license now, but I am hoping that LEGO still make the construction sets for the line. Look forward to any contributions and answers. Tom

Hey All, Linked below is the YouTube behind the scenes for 'A Day in the life at LEGO Jurassic World'. The video featured an awesome build of the Jurassic World entry gates - something which was a LEGO Ideas set, but sadly did not get approved. I seem to recall, however, that somebody may have made an LDD file for the model? If possible, I'd love to have access to it. I am hoping to build it in the near future so that would be fantastic. Thanks, Tom

Excited for these sets! I was a big fan of the Jurassic World sets, so I'm hoping we can get some products here which may be able to enhance the scenery for those. Big jungle environments are ideal, and I actually really like the Research set. I think the concept of a crashed plane in the jungle makes sense and can definitely fit in with the JW scene I envision.

If we do, however, see the Agents of SHIELD set, I'd hope for something like this: LEGO: AGENTS OF SHIELD - DEATHLOK SHOWDOWN 1x Scaled-Down S.H.I.E.L.D Quinjet (All Grey this time, as opposed to Black/Grey/Blue) with some slight blue highlights here and there. Space for two people in the cockpit. Spring-loaded missiles built into the sides of the body. Adjustable wings. Fold down troop bay ramp with Fitz/Simmons portable lab attached to the ramp, which can fold open to reveal two computer screens. 1x S.H.I.E.L.D 4x4 with Opening Doors, Flickfire Missiles, and Rear Trunk storage space with The Destroyer. 1x Coulson (S3 Appearance) with S.H.I.E.L.D Badge, 1x Agent May with Blaster, 1x Quake, 1x Mac with Axe, 1x Fitz with Laptop and Sleepy, 1x Simmons with Beaker, 1x Deathlok, 1x Grant Ward with Blaster 'Grant Ward has taken the evil Deathlok and programmed him for his own nefarious means! Bring in the S.H.I.E.L.D Quinjet and drop off Fitz/Simmons lab to anaylse his abilities, whilst distracting him with the Quinjet's missiles. Then, bring in the S.H.I.E.L.D 4x4 so Agent Coulson can stop Deathlok once and for all with the Destroyer gun and put Ward in cuffs'

I am excited for these sets after seeing the higher-quality photos! Each set looks awesome, with well thought out details and cool designs. Ayesha's Revenge has to be my favourite - that ship design just sits well with me!- 5,808 replies

I would like that, but I know that a lot of customisers prefer being able to deconstruct their products and use the bricks for other projects, so I understand that. I've replaced the yellow technic pieces with light silver ones to match the rest now.

Gotta love Lola. Did you apply the stickers to the inside of the wheel arches too?

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Tom Jurassic replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
The new GCPD pack is great! I felt as though two Officers for Arkham was far from enough - so it's nice to have more available, and even some variety within the mix! I would definitely like to pick up 2, possibly 3 of these packs alongside Arkham Asylum. -

I started with Palace Cinema, and although I am working my way through them on each payday, I do miss not having Town Hall as that looked cool and I would bet that remakes are unlikely with such diversity of buildings still waiting to be made. I'd say we are most likely to get things like Assembly Square - sets which pull from others but do not directly remake them. That said, I am at the tender age of just about to hit adulthood, so I still live with my parents and don't have to worry about a house yet - something which I know is a big step so it may definitely be best saving for that, as LegoSjaak said! I wish you luck with moving out and hope that whatever you decide to do makes you happy!

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Cool to know your local LEGO store is Bluewater too Captain Britain - #EBMeetup Did Bluewater still have the CMFs in stock? They were in stock when I went to pick-up Detroit Steel and I really want to pick up Commissioner Gordon and Barbara Gordon as after-market prices for all the LBM figures are quite high. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Tom Jurassic replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
So I finished Palace Cinema...and I am absolutely delighted! When I first started collecting block-based products it was Mega Bloks, with no numbered bags, so I was a little thrown off when I had to open like seven bags at once, but as per usual the LEGO system works heaps better! The design of this building is beautiful - so much in the way of nice architectural design and texture which really creates a period-authentic sense and makes the building itself feel beautiful and regal. And oh my - the design on the roof! Being my first modular, I can definitely say that the photos don't do these things justice - they are HUGE! The sense of scale is phenomenal. I know a few people commented on the spartan interior with this set when it first released (Apparently a lot of excess space - not much seating) but I feel that what is there is fantastic. For £130 it was a bargain! -

Good idea Not overly bothered about the Pet Shop, but thanks for the information buddy! I think it's already retired on LEGO GB Shop At Home. I am gutted I missed Town Hall, however - Government buildings are a must! -
Interesting to see Death Troopers in this with Thrawn considering they work for the Imperial Special Weapons branch. Is it possible that Thrawn is an admiral with associations to the branch, or perhaps that Death Troopers are more widely-deployed as special forces then we were originally told?

Just ordered my first Modular - the Palace Cinema! To avoid missing out on sets getting retired, should I get the restaurant next?
