  1. No problem bud! It's a great set :)
  2. Really happy with the Iron Man Versus Detroit Steel set! As a massive Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D fan, I was excited when I heard the rumours of Lola and Coulson, but the initial images disappointed me a little, as you all know. I want the products to be more accurate to the LEGO Games (However fragile for release they may have been). That said, I am really happy with both Coulson and Lola! Coulson is a great design for a minifigure which captures his simple aesthetic but adds some unique flair to a suited torso that we haven't seen before through the inclusion of the SHIELD ID. Lola is well built too, with the overall product looking great - and special props to all the attention to detail in the dashboard, where we get a sticker and levers! Detroit Steel is nice but the weapons stick out a little too much. I like Iron Man, but I am unsure of the 2D Print on a 3D element - perhaps something I am still to become comfortable with. That said, I bought this set for Lola and Coulson, and for £5 with £25 VIP Points, I am incredibly happy! High hopes that the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D set passes review!
  3. Marvel street day for the UK is the 31st. I was in my local LEGO Shop yesterday and asked the manager as they had other 2017 sets out, but was told the Marvel ones are some of the later ones. Interesting note - no City 2017 in the store although shelves were being cleared. Smyths and the Entertainer have 2017 City however, so possible they may get Marvel early too.
  4. Shame only one of the Starlord minifigures has leg printing. Otherwise - should be ace for collections! Minifigs look great. :)
  5. Great build - love all the additional little details in each shot :)
  6. Where has all this information spilled from? It's probably a case of my tired eyes not spotting the correct post
  7. Not a big fan of Coulson's face but the rest looks cool!
  8. Prize E's magical mystery tour will be making a stop at my house this year!!! Thank you to Cop Mike and everyone else involved in making this wonderful festive celebration possible every year :)
  9. Love this build - you've done a fantastic job with it!
  10. It's all good my friend - we still get Lola and Coulson atleast
  11. Looks fantastic! Awesome job
  12. No doubt there Wesker - was definitely better covered than Rebels. Some of the more prominent character-gaps just stick in my head. Why we never saw a Phase II Cody, for example, I do not know. But that said, we did get a lot of cool CW stuff!
  13. Really good job - it works nicely with the big-fig and looks good
  14. £30?!?! Oh my god this set keeps getting better and better by the minute. I was already planning on a day one purchase for Coulson and Lola alone, but I was expecting between £40 - £50 for this set. At £30 this seems like a massive steal and I am incredibly excited for it! With my £10/£15 off at the LEGO Shop, it seems like I am paying £15 for Coulson and Lola
  15. Haha - thanks bud! To be honest I agree fully - there has been a lot of great source material in the past that we have missed out on too - especially with The Clone Wars I feel.
  16. Been a mix of Hitman, Battlefront and Modern Warfare Remastered as of late :)
  17. Star Wars Rebels - Imperial Troop Transport Ambush (I know apparently Rebels sets don't sell - but I can dream!) The Imperials have captured Zeb and are getting ready to take him off-world. Ezra needs to ambush the transport before it can get off world and it is too late! Use Ezra's speeder bike to catch-up with the troop transport, and use the exploding feature to break Zeb out of the transport and escape before the Imperials notice! Oh no - they've noticed! Use Ezra's bike to outmanoeuvre the stud cannon and escape before the Imperials get another prisoner! 1x Ezra Bridger (NEW - S3 Appearance), 1x Zeb (NEW - S3 Appearance), 2x Rebels Stormtroopers, 1x Rebels Imperial Officer
  18. That is entirely my bad - hoping we'll get a Defender after the Rebels episode
  19. Seriously excited for the Detroit Steel set! I think that the mech looks cool, and I love how they included Justin Hammer as the inclusion of a prior villain is nice. The fact we are getting an official Coulson is phenomenal - I've wanted him for ages and now we finally get him, I am excited! Lola is phenomenal too - I am going to tweak the design slightly but I think that they actually did a really good job within the piece-count restraints that they have to work within. Day one pickup for sure - hopefully with some VIP points!
  20. Picked up two of the Rogue One sets this past week - the TIE Defender and the U-Wing. The TIE Defender is fantastic - the length and shaping of the wings looks phenomenal and creates a really cool looking ship! I also love the curvature of the main body - it looks fantastic, and the inbuilt features between the storage compartment and the cockpit of the vehicle are both integrated well into the build. The U-Wing is also great - all of the inbuilt features are fantastic and the minifigure lineup here is great. I absolutely love both sets, and should be getting the other three for Christmas!
  21. Fantastic photos to aid the review. I actually really like this set. Yes, we can argue that the scale is small, but everything builds in nicely I feel and works well within the build. Plus it is nice to have an Imperial structure!
  22. When thinking of Christmas, I'd love to spend it in a traditional log-style resort or hotel one year, so that is what I built! Experimenting with a micro scale for my design was actually a lot of fun, and something I've not done before! Knowing how vital colour choice was in determining doors and windows was an interesting experience - thank you for encouraging me to experiment!
  23. Well the jet is....eh. Here if they had used a helmet as opposed to the goggles for Cap, I feel like he would've come out much better. Not a big fan of Ms Marvel tbh - I like that they tried something new, but I'll probably swap her out with normal arms. Detroit Steel is a day one purchase. Lola looks fantastic - my doubts about the build have been put to rest for sure. I like that we get Justin Hammer, and the mech actually looks really cool! I really don't like Coulson's face with the microphone though. I feel like it lost something and just doesn't quite look faithful enough to Clark Gregg compared to some customs using already-existing pieces. Ah well - still happy to have him officially at last. :)
