    wow beautiful job, how many hours did this take you? How many pieces? Some may not like the monochrome look or say you should have done it in tan, but I really like it, that is a truly artful piece of work

    Target here in St Louis has every set but the Smaug set...really liked them all.

    Struck gold, by the way, WalMart is clearancing out a lot of Lego sets...but was able to get Series 5 at a Target, daughter is thrilled, patience is a virtue I guess. Have completed all of the Jungle wave now with the exception of the Rescue Base and while it isn't Jungle per se, I count it in this wave...the Shopping Mall. Lots of new inventory coming in though, saw all the new Hobbit ones at the same Target.

    more great news, thanks, I really like this 40000XX series, just so hard to get them, outside of Lego House and this new one, I rarely see any come up on ebay, but this series also includes the Kirk house and other special tour sets. For me I like the factory ones, and yes I know BL has them, but again high prices. They are very small in piece count as well so putting out $300US for one is just out of my logic spending. I appreciate all the replies and answers and hope that we all can pick this up in 2015 if it is a desired set.

    thanks, that is better news than it would be the tour special which means it would likely never come on the market...but seeing the price on BL, wow, $450 US for the cheapest, not sure how they already have the sets as your blog seems to say 2015 from what I can discern, would love to see some come on the market and get it for less than $100US

    well I am not sure what the words actually say, it was also hinted to me that this could be like the Lego House 4000010 which was a special edition, but this one would be for the Billund Airport for sale...can someone interpret the words to English? If it is an airport item I would think the availability would be much higher.

    I agree with you both, personally would rather have the boxed stuff as well, and appreciate the info, I shall check again this weekend to see if 5 has arrived.

I like it a lot and really wish they would sell these to the public instead of making them in such small numbers. I realize it is for the special tour thing, but, for those of us that do not have the ability or funds to get there, maybe we could purchase it anyway...the one I do have I paid a lot for but it is one of my favorite sets, 4000006.

    Lego Guy Bri - called our local store for you, St Louis, MO, they do not have any, was going to try to be nice and get it and ship if you were willing to pay the cost, but they are plum out here. I would say to anyone, if you are wanting a modular other than Parisian Restaurant, get it now, do not wait, the old adage, if you want it and it is there, get it cause if you go back it won't be there pretty much rings true every time. Good luck to all in their pursuit of what they want.

    thanks, been to TRU, Target and the Lego Store, nothing and even less, TRU did have a Chima polybag I had never seen but nothing new Friends related, I did see 5 at the S@H, but seems crazy to spend almost as much on shipping as it costs to buy 2 of the packs. I will just have patience I guess and hope the Midwest USA gets the same stuff everyone else has or has had for months. Maybe it will take so long that both 5 and 6 come here at the same time.

    I think at this point, I will put animal pack series 5 and 6 for the US in this thread as it doesn't seem to be getting here any time soon, appreciate getting the pics back up, really like all the new sets as does my daughter

    hmm...I see more pawn shops here than brothels, course not really looking for either, but this would allow the designer team to get creative with themed bedrooms

    right now that museum is just short of 8K support on Lego Ideas with over 200 days to go, it trails the piano (which would be a nice fit into a modular MOC) as the 2nd most supported Idea, so who knows there I am not interested in buying another one, but noticed that Palace Cinema and Parisian seem to be the only in stock ones I can see on S@H, with the Pet Shop saying out of stock, using the theme choice, when I typed in grand emporium all of the modular came up with GE and TH saying sold out and FB saying retired

    Good news to know the next 5 are there, too bad Jamie didn't politely say what they were...but I would think if one is not a museum, that if the natural history one gets to 10K, then it will be very interesting to see how that might change or if they really would pop 2 modular in a year. I think if they did one in January and then one in say August, it would work.

    How do you get the name on the piece on the baseplate though? Is that a sticker or just a piece that you had done in a custom way?

    I think if the natural history museum on Lego Ideas does hit 10K votes, then we will see that one in 2016, people like it a lot. GRogall hasn't been seen in a long time, so hope they are doing ok and nothing bad happened. My guess is the reveal will be on the aforementioned Nov 21 date, and be sold in March/April timeframe. 2016 will be the museum and 2017 for a hospital. I will always maintain that we need more sets targeted to AFOL's like Architecture and Modular...I would like 6 arch sets and 2 modular each year but my collection is targeted to these 2 lines with a few other sets sprinkled in there from the other lines. A hospital for 2017 could be similar size to the Town Hall.

    Seems there is another exclusive announcement coming on Nov 21 Gongoro, we can only hope that is the modular reveal, just waiting at this point.

    Sounds like TLG has a ton of stuff hitting Jan 1, I wouldn't be surprised if they hold off on the Modular til a bit later 1st or 2nd quarter of the year, that stinks for us, but Lego is pretty hot right now and they are rolling in it, they can dictate their own calendar at this point. I personally feel there is a market for 2 modular a year, but that might be just me.

    Guess NicT was right, nothing about modular or anything, just a restatement of the Slave I that we have all seen since Saturday, why that FB page is rehashing the same info as the other FB sites have and calling it a reveal is beyond me, guess TLG doesn't have a dictionary handy to look up the word reveal. In any case, now hope that the Nov 21 will be the official modular reveal...that Slave I is a pretty big ship though, saw a video of it, nicely detailed and I would say if you are a SW fan, that is a must.

    That's great, INO is just a classic favorite, even without the ability to do the signs, you captured it...agree, there needs to be a million cars in line and a ton of people in the place so you are waiting for a table, that has been my experience every time. Making me hungry though, I like the way you did it, anyone who has ever been in one, would recognize it right away.

    I am going to remain positive that since Slave I was already revealed on Oct 4 that this is not it...if not, Nov 21 is another exclusive reveal date. And I noticed the Lego Shop FB is always showing the Lego FB items so...in the end who knows. The mgr at my local store had no idea about the modular, had asked regional who also had no info. I don't think TLG tells it's employees anything on that stuff. I am guessing that there is more to come still.

    hold on folks, that is not the official Lego site, that is the site for lego shop, there are a ton of Lego FB sites, but the official one is: https://www.facebook.com/LEGO Now it does show Lego Batman 3 game coming out, but the last time when they announced Bionicle, it wasn't until later in the day, so either the announcement is Batman 3, which I doubt since that is not even sold in Lego Stores, so all hope is not lost

    I have waited to purchase PR just due to the things that everyone is saying for and against it...I like that it is a nice big set with a high piece count, but I don't like that many of those pieces are the frills so to speak. If you took away all the little things, the building would still be a restaurant, but I feel the issue to me is the size. It is a 2/3rd size building for a higher price, so you end up paying for the extra piece count not in building, but in the frills...I will get it at some point of course, but just not in a hurry. I do like the overall look of it, but just not a full size building for extra money is what is making me hesitate. I will state too, not fond of the building color, reminds me too much of lima beans but I do like the blue roof.

    Checked TRU and the Lego Store here in St Louis, USA...neither had series 5, Lego Store said hopefully soon.
