I've been trying to design a nice yellow building on and off for months, and I always end up coming back to this creation for inspiration. It's beautifully done, and all of the changes that you have made over time really improve upon your original build. I don't suppose you have made an interior for it yet?

The angled facade is really clever!

I have Batman on the scene. Problem solved.

I'm very disappointed that I cannot vote for this build in the contest. Nevertheless, congrats on an excellent MOC.

This is outstanding. I like the masonry bricks for the walkway, and the SNOT shaded area. The monkey is a nice touch too! I think this is a really great entry for the winter village contest.

Pretty gnarly. I like it, but I am curious to see it in a slightly larger minifig sized version.

Love it! I like the snot work for the ice skating area.

It looks like it could be modular. Any interior in the works?

I could only hold out for so long.... reinstalling RCT now.

Sweet. I played the heck out of Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. Just curious, did anyone else play Pizza Tycoon? Or the more popular Transport Tycoon?

I like the white. I think you should stick with that. The roof and the first floor interior is nicely done. I particularly like the AC unit. I think the windows on the third floor could be tinkered with. Maybe the windows could be expanded to two bricks wide, or the gray plates could be reduced to one brick wide.

The icicles outside and the red ribbon inside are brilliant details.

There are almost too many great details to count! I like the flowers inside the gold cups, the use of masonry bricks, the two bathrooms (the shower curtain is great), the lobby, the nice flowerbed....... It looks heavy with the double thick walls. I might need to try that out in order to make my interiors look better. Keep up the excellent work!

Crossover MOC is a good way to describe it. I really enjoy this build a lot, and would like to vote for it as a winner in the winter village contest, but it is so borderline with the winter village theme I wouldn't feel comfortable voting for it. Great job though!!

Thanks for all of the feedback! I might take a little break from modulars while I dream up something for the winter village contest.

Hey all. I've been on a bit of a building spree lately. I had a lot of fun with the SNOT work on this build, both on the ground floor and the roof (also a bit in the bathroom). I spent some time furnishing the interior which led me to a new realization. I had used white bricks for the side walls of this modular in order to save my orange bricks for furture projects. This works well on the outside, but when I did the interior I had some awkward rooms with one white wall and one orange wall. This is something I'll try to avoid in the future. Also... furnishing the inside sure does a number on my supply of tile bricks. Anyway, here we go! More pics here: http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream C&C welcome! Thanks for looking

I tried a few different colors. Ultimately I preferred the blue. I like the compound slopes, but I am going to tinker with it a little bit. I think the porch roof should be at least one plate taller. The lamppost and the mailbox are basically blocking the sidewalk, but I decided that was ok, because in the grand scheme of things I hope to have a road in front of all my modulars. That ought to provide ample sidewalk space. Thanks for all of your input! Like I said before, that new Creator beach house is a great way to stock up on those blue bricks!

The floors all separate. It's fully modular. I just didn't take a pic of the separate floors since there is nothing inside of them.

Thanks! I must say, I really like the updates to the Eurobricks website. It has make posting pictures and links much easier in my opinion.

B-RM-10E I am proud to present my new baby blue house MOC. This is the first time I've tried using any SNOT techniques. It took a lot of trial and error to get the borders of the house down. I finally figured it out and now have a new skill under my belt. I bought two of the blue Creator beach house sets to stock up on my blue bricks. I'm really happy with my results. The only thing missing is a furnished interior, which I think is the one thing stopping this MOC from being a truly "great" piece ! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. flickr stream here: http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream

I love how everybody's Winter Village gets bigger every year. They will be downright HUGE by next year!

I too am dying to see all of your modulars together. Your work is really quite beautiful, and your photography showcases your builds very nicely. I really like the top two rows of detailing just below the roof. I've been wondering about those pieces on the sides. The ones with the ridge in the middle used for garage doors. Is it a new piece that is several bricks tall? I tried to figure it out by looking at the new Arkham Asylum set. They seem to be columns that are maybe six bricks tall.

There is some very effective SNOT work here. Modulars are what got me back into LEGO when Cafe Corner came out, but there is a lot to like about the open rear buildings like this one as well.

Good looking building. I think there are definitely too many brick bricks though. Like someone mentioned earlier, the white windows need to be a little taller. As for the masonry bricks, maybe when you get to the light bley section you can switch to regular bricks for most of it, but still use the masonry bricks for the columns.

I've been wanting to do dumpsters just like that as a way to connect my modulars. Yours look really nice.
