I really loved Kristel's 16 stud wide rendition of the Haunted House, so I used her free instructions she posted online and built my own! For anyone who hasn't purchased the official Haunted House set, I strongly recommend it. And Kristel's MOD instructions are very well done! Aside from the color change, this is almost a brick for brick replica. I may add an interior sometime down the line. If I do, I'll update the pics! http://www.flickr.co...s/71885675@N03/

^^^Jay that seems like a pretty clear scam. Stay away for sure. I just built Kristel's 16 stud haunted house MOD yesterday, and it's turned out excellent. I'll post pics soon!

I've never purchased or built somebody else's design before, but I have seen people sell instructions on eBay. In fact, some eBay sellers simply copy someone else's design and then cash in on selling the instructions. I consider that to be dishonest, so make sure you know who you are buying instructions from. Otherwise, happy building! There are a lot of great MOC's out there that I would like to try building.

Wow. That is an excellent design. I would love to see an Official LEGO set like this one. The removable roof and swinging door adds huge playability. I like the grill/vent pieces for the floor on the inside. I'm usually not very enthusiastic about vehicles, but I really like this one.

I agree with you about everything. The Haunted House was one of my all time favorite builds. The Pet Shop is one of my favorite modulars (after Cafe Corner and Green Grocer), and the Grand Emporium is my least favorite. I haven't built the VW camper, because it's not really my theme, but every time I look at it, I spend a few minutes counting the money in my wallet!

I have been using LDD to make a 16 stud wide police station for my city. The bottom floor looks pretty similar to yours. I just need to find some black garage door panels.

For goodness sake, I don't think you have made a modular yet that I haven't adored. The staircases are nice and clean, and well separated from the main rooms. That dresser on the second floor is great. Where do you get the mirror piece? I like the deck on the top floor, but I think the roof looks a little strange being so tall and having a big square chunk taken out of it. I think an awning would look good up there. It's such a lovely house. Thanks for sharing!

My favorite parts are the cheese slope roof and the arch used for the front stairs.

The crane made the transition to micro size perfectly. That bulldozer is great too!

Lovely. Both versions are great. I like the wider version more, but like Bamos mentioned, the roof access on the 16 stud version added some character to the build.
