    Is that character a union or league player ? And a helmet.......since when ???? But it's easy to put a hair piece on him and use the helmet for say a tank driver or gunner ? The ball looks similar to the styling of the ones used by the NRL here in Australia.

    Ah, I know I'm usually in the city forum but seeing the title of the topic.......yeah, wasn't there a rejected 10K supported Landrover set idea on Ideas once ;)

    So a rescue copter last year, a snow groomer earlier this year and now the best city set of 2019 it just over takes the donut shop set in a way. Dam it another 150 bucks I have to find LOL I'm impressed with the rescue jeep with plow attachment and the ski shop plus rescue HQ look fantastic a must buy.

    A ski resort.......and out of left field Lego does it again to confuse us all. Only the rescue copter from last year is the thing related to skiing well maybe the snow plow truck but yeah might be worth it.

    You know it's amazing those shops in the Donut shop set remind me of the designs that scored 10000 supporters back on Lego Ideas a long, long time ago. I'm sold on the fire truck, fairground people pack and of course the Donut shop opening set......apart from that I'll be saving my money the space stuff holds no interest for me at all.

    A decade ago space sets would be in the sci-fi forum now it's in town forum, I will know Lego have lost the plot when they have medieval buildings with the city tag on the box art.

    Ah, if something is on the drawing board doesn't make it real life. I feel this is just Lego's cheap attempt at being a follower not leader in the toy race.

    Thanks 'Jim' for the review, I like this set though it's not perfect. My sticking point is that the cash register is mounted so high a minifig needs a step ladder to operate it ! LOL I wasn't going to get the Diner since they switch head styles on the figures but the garage with it together would look great so twist my arm I might for both. The question is really where to now for the modulars eh ?

    Okay, so the space sets don't interest me at all. Though in saying that I don't like their designs they are too Sci-Fi theme based no where current real life. Now the other non space sets, the fire truck and donut shop sets are the overall high point. On the down side is that Junior's gas station......only good for parts and in need of AFOL treatment for sure.

    Which makes no sense as those 15.99 sets are sold in every Kmart, Target and BigW so yeah, not sure about that LOL
