    Oh, man I love that oil can......oh, why don't they do it these days eh ? I used early ESSO and Mobil gas pumps to base mine on......besides that now the hardware store is slowly coming together....sadly old man Hooper has been kicked out of his old hardware store to make way for a newer building......keep watching !

    Thanks for the kind words and interesting info on that classic town plan set (oh, I would love to have one of those sets on display in my glass case at home ). I'm currently working on that new art deco styled hardware store.....I have just made the coolest counter/cash register combo ever, but everyone with have to wait until I have done more to it. Keep watching !

    I like the tennis court, but that skate ramp needs help.....not very slope-ish or ramp-like ! Great to see your city expand all the time 'melbs'......Brick On !

    Thanks 'GRogall' for the images......neat little tree seller stand.....though we got one in the winter bakery and now for the truck.....it's okay I guess - though my issue with is the front end of the truck....oh, yeah the roof.....proportions might be a little out. Pity they are not going to be a general release.....or maybe they will allow regular Lego retailers to stock them.

    I visited an odd ball Lego store today.....it's the post office agent at the Arkaba shopping centre they have a Lego section in the back of the post office many of the latest sets plus a few old ones.....still at the original prices. Like the 2008 and 2011 police trucks......also a handful of 8401 minifig packs....still 14.99 (they have one less now ). They also had series 11.....actually they forgot what day it was and didn't unpack the outer of series 11....so I scored the mountain rescuer.

    Interesting little set, plus the next one sounds the same......hmm, by the looks of it nothing special in the parts department......scratch building from my parts selection is ahead for the tiger !

    Nice try at a review 'LukefromNJ', a plain background and table top would have been better to photograph on plus some build progress shots too. Still, it's a great little set...I found the plane a joy to build and glad to add it to my collection. Brick On Review On 'LukefromNJ' !

    You forgot about the paint ball gun from the collectable minifigs.....possible pepper ball gun. Remember that Lego doesn't like real guns in Lego city at all.

    You know I consider it unfair that the robbers have a crowbar which can be weapon and the cops only have handcuffs, walkie talkies and flashlights......oh, the elite police units have helmets but how about a taser weapon or something like that.....even a pepper spray....just something to even things up. It will still prove to kids that guns don't always have to be used to solve problems.

    Great......our Lego cities are becoming police states......we are now getting rehashes every three, two and one years now. At least I can plan my giant heliport now ! I missed out on the last police truck and a new cop shop.....that will go in my special Lego city layout (which reminds me next month to do some more work on ). Fingers crossed for a better second half.....for a better variety that is....

    Thanks 'kermit' for those kind words, actually now it was quite typical that gas/petrol stations of the 1930's art deco era not to have driveway roofs.....a Google Image search will prove that. Plus I didn't want to extend the roof.....it cost a small fortune to do the last one.
