    Now the funny thing is the Opera House is a Danish design in the first place and is still an on-going project even 40 years after it opened. I have been told it is very stable, in fact one survived a flight between Sydney and Melbourne in an overhead locker and only one light pole fell over.

    Toyworld Parafield has three of the new Castle sets including the King's Castle....all at R.R.P. though.

    Thanks 'eurotrash', 'kevin8' and 'Herky' for your positive feedback, I'm considering switching back to a 32x16 so then I can use two butted together to form an L shape so I can build that bank and/or diner next. I was going to use brown and tan in the showroom but suddenly chose dark red and tan......I feel it looks even more Art Deco that way......keep watching !

    Thanks 'jonwil', I hope by Tuesday I can have this one finished so then I can do the final two builds in this Art Deco series.....then back to that roadhouse for my Aussie country town.....busy, busy, busy I am. As usual......keep watching !

    To follow on from my gas station.......http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=86212&st=25........I will give a tease to what's next and yes, I enjoy building hardware stores. Old Mr Hooper has moved on to this store now.........more floor tiles, merchandise and of course a roof/ceiling combo like the one on the gas station......keep watching !

    Well, any of the Disney themes that had either a pirate ship or steam train sold well while the other sets in their particular film theme did so-so.....that data came from a retailer.

    They believe it's what kids want......police and fire sets, and in a way when I was a kid.....it was fire trucks that fuelled my Lego habit all those years ago (classic town yellow fire station ). My son back in 2008 saw the ad on Cartoon Network for the then new police station.....he loved the bit about the crooks escaping from the jail cells and being chased by the police....you can guess what he got for his birthday two months later right ? I feel it's us AFOL's that are getting tired of these sets and wish for different sub-themes......remember the age range on the box art usually state 6-10 or alike so from that we can sort understand that a police station release one year might have to be different three or four years later to satisfy the wants of the next generation of KFOL's.

    I have a question to ask everyone......should I add any more to the gas station design....i.e. tyre/tire stack, air dispenser, etc., ? The hardware store design is coming along nicely......I hope it will impress even as good as the gas station has......keep watching !
