    Ah, Thunderbirds.....Brains, Tin-Tin, Alan who loved racing cars......memories are flooding back......oh, yeah and so too Space 1999......those Eagles were so cool. You know if it wasn't for Gerry Anderson.....in a way we might not have Star Wars ? Anyway, I have one thing to add......F.A.B. !

    Oh, man.....by the Lords Of Kobol .......I still wish this was a 1978 battlestar......that 2003 series ....sorry, I'm no fan of that at all.

    The modulars are totally aimed at the adult market, where as city is mostly aimed at CFOL and perhaps TFOL markets......or maybe some crazy adult collectors like yourstruly ! One UCS style one could also be a car dealer with showroom and workshop...well, since we are getting a car carrier for 2014 it might make sense ?

    I like both 'jonwil's and 'sheepeaters' ideas, though price point might be an issue.......a factory sub-theme might work out better than a UCS style city set. Though a UCS theme for city........shopping centre, hospital, airport terminal, hotel/motel, school and of course an oil rig could be sound suggestion to Lego's design team. As a parent, a package of a series together.....bigger than the super sets might work out cheaper for us parents to keep kids (big and small) happy.

    I didn't mean to upset you 'rriggs', my point was with the negativity about some of the 2014 sets isn't needed and an open mind lets one see potential to create something different or just better than what Lego's designers have done.

    It's also important to remember is that we are mostly AFOL's here who build different from what's on the box .......try and look at it from this point of view,.....Does that set contain useful parts or structural/vehicle sections one could adapt ? Take the police station in this case, could not the right hand side of it make a great office block, post office or bank ? Also just because a set is a police semi-trailer....you could make it into a chiller truck to carry fruit or dairy and the rest of the gear in that set....part of depot office perhaps for said fruit or dairy ? Take off the blinkers, open one's mind and let your imagination go wild !

    My suggestion......department store ! You know a beauty counter, latest bedroom linen and things to cook up a storm with in the kitchen, add the coolest phones, plus finally of course....the two things I believe girls go crazy for the most - clothes and shoes !

    Thanks for the feedback 'gazumpty', actually a real Kmart Tyre & Auto is that plain on.....though some have a painted effect similar to the one on the front of the counter. I hope within a week or so to finish the canopy.....waiting parts plus I must design the ceiling to it as well.....more parts again.....oh, well keep watching !

    Oh, man.....not bad at all.....a Beetle was my first three cars I ever drove......very nice try at attempting to get as many curves right as possible.using Lego. Brick On 'imvanya' !..

    Thanks for the kind words 'LEGO family', I now use matte sticker paper in A4 size since my supplier stopped selling gloss photo sticker paper. Now another little update......note added wall components to two of the three buildings....keep watching ! Edit - Ooop's I forgot to answer that other question......yes, those modules are from another design.....I believe in recycling.

    I decided to LDD the cherry picker unit on the light repair truck......who ever the designer of it at Lego is a genius.....it works perfectly and operates more to real life than the 2010 model.

    I don't collect SW anymore, but my son does and right now Ep.III is watching over and over again so his birthday list next year is going to kill me ! Those new plate firing guns I'm not sure about yet......depends on how far and with what force they have. I'm very surprised that there isn't a huge set, one that's priced in the hundred to two hundred buck range. All the figures look fantastic and i guess the main part that interests CFOLs - the minifig !

    At least the motorcycle officer looks cool in his new uniform.....a change from black......funny our state police force have gone to black for their uniforms now.

    Thanks for the image 'finnbricker', could you post an image of the police officer on his own ? A neat little set......I like it .....now to wait till they make it to Oz.......in a few months !

    Well, you could start to collect them ! Walmart.ca make a mistake putting an image again of the mobile police unit instead of the police patrol set.....D'oh !

    Thanks for noticing 'LT12V', I don't think anyone has considered making a trolley jack like I have there ? I can't wait to get those missing parts so I can finish the driveway off......but this layout here is wider than 48 studs ! Oh well, I guess I will need more 48x48 base plates then and a rethink on where this all goes to in New Mannum. Keep watching !

    Well, a tree only covers half the story right guys ? If city is flooded with police and fire fighters, them Friend's is covered in horses......and most young girls have this thing for horses........i.e. The Saddle Club, My Little Pony, etc.,.
