  1. Thanks for the kind words 'Mariko', yeah....I'm thinking about some cup cakes in the case.....I actually copied the coffee machine from the Lego Movie....I paused the trailer in the right place. Keep watching !
  2. I was working on one thing today, but then something I started two or three weeks ago caught my attention and decided to work on it. A coffee shop..... I just need some signs and Larry from the Lego Movie collectables series, then my coffee shop can join my Coles Express servo setup......this is now replacing my diner idea because....cash flow is bad again - anyway keep watching.
  3. Thanks 'LEGO family' and 'LTF' for your comments, etc.,. These structures are yet to be fitted to base plates so there will be ramps/sloped pavement leading from the road surface up to the current pavement there. This section looks like it's going to need 3 48x48 base plates ! Anyway, I have a car wash to design next.....keep watching !
  4. Not what I was expecting with a TSC at all......still it's good and the dance studio upstairs.......cool, what do those town folk smoke eh ? Excellent modular designing there 'eurotrash' and Brick On !
  5. Jaw-dropping AWESOME 'maydayartist', so much detailing as close to the real thing as possible.......I it ! Brick On 'maydayartist' !
  6. Yes, do it in brick.....it looks great 'Yooha'....which of the girls run the place ? Brick On with your Friend's 'Yooha' !
  7. Excellent work 'SalvoBrick', I like the car carrier the most....is it stable on the top deck ? Brick On 'SalvoBrick' !
  8. Quick update...... Keep watching !
  9. Saves money.....but what about under the back door of the prisoner van.....that 6 stud wide part that has a 4 wide cut away in it ? Edit - fooled again......it's a pair of new 2x1 brackets......cheeky designers, but you can only really tell at maximum resolution.
  10. Thanks for an awesome review 'dj2005', this set in my opinion would be the best modular to date and I'm tempted maybe to buy one next year.....though open backes are more my thing. The ground floor is what sells the set....all the detailing is perfect. Now you did say about the clutter up on the top floor......aren't artists usually untidy ? Brick On Review on 'dj2005' !
  11. I was thinking the same thing.....reverse engineer a kabob cart.....I wonder how they are going to do minifig scale kabobs ?
  12. Ah, but what if your internet is down eh ? Isn't this kind of talk a little of topic ? Now I was surprised not to any images when they were available of the new monster truck, plus I'm wondering still about the huge police copter - it's design looked a little similar to the fire one from this year that got a redo on because of some issues it had with the bottom falling out.
  13. Thanks for the suggestion 'LTF', I forgot about that set.....any more suggestions - real life designs ?
  14. Now did anyone save any hi-res images though.....I did. (all except the tow truck and police patrol.....Walmart.ca did have any except box art) Though I feel it won't be long before those images will be back as the sets usually go on sale in some parts of the globe in December.
  15. Excellent entry 'Paperballpark', cool that you have every element of a Ferris Wheel on a 16x16......let the challenge begin. Good luck and Brick On 'Paperballpark' !
  16. Well, he isn't a rat any more ? Cool story......I like the way it's taking shape......Brick On 'greg3' !
  17. It might be a silly question, but stickers are allowed I believe ?
  18. Two words.....Bad Grandpa ! Oh, my gosh......what he did to a drink machine and in a diner as well......yep, Jackass all over ! Plus ladies night......letting all hang out ! I highly recommend it as a cool and very funny film !
  19. Back on Wednesday night saw Belinda Carlisle in concert.....awesome show - she tossed in some Go-Go's songs and finished the night with 'Heaven Is A Place On Earth'.
  20. I just checked Walmart.ca and those 2014 sets are now gone, so hopefully people got the images saved. Lego must have muscled Walmart.......funny Walmart usually is the other way round with other companies......perhaps Lego really has some power eh ?
  21. AWESOME work again from you 'AJ', I like the overall appearance of the depot......plus railway bridge.....hmm, I need to design a bridge. Brick On 'AussieJimbo' !
  22. Thanks 'timmy', I will be building to be located east of the Kmart Tyre & Auto.....on the west of the Rural Services will be a lot to display tractors. Keep watching......oh, any suggestions on car wash design would be helpful thanks.
  23. No more work done to this yet, but I have a question......should I design a car wash to go with it ?
  24. Actually a window that fall in or out would be good.....there have been quite a few cars driven through shop windows......some by accident, others not so !
  25. I totally agree.....the snack bar, I forgot when I was young (a very long time ago before CDs and PCs) this was part of my small Lego town collection.....ah, memories. Pekko on Cuusoo tried and sadly failed at getting the mini shops off the ground.....still obtaining 10K.....not based on rapid fandom voting could mean that city designers might take a look at it and maybe we'll finally get some shops, etc., for the crooks to rob and the fire fighters to put out fires...or rescue crooks trapped in AC vents !
