If we get a set, I'd prefer another Toa, we've seen Tahu a thousand times and we know how he looks. I know it's going to be Tahu though. :P 2-3 Toa would be the best thing.

Luckily no Toa is using more than 4 colours (not counting the eyes colours and those annoying yellow bits on the weapons). They all use 3 (primary, secondary, armour), save for Gali: luckily titanium metallic/silver and azure/tr. light blue are similar enough so her colour scheme still looks pretty clean. Lewa might or might not use titanium metallic, I hope he doesn't otherwise his colour organization would be a mess. Oh, I'd LOVE that. Shame they never did that thing again. I don't even think it was that costly to produce, was it? It was just clear plastic with some glitter. Doubt they'd make a Takanuva complely like that, but at least a new Avokhii in that style, and possibly the "accent" shells (I mean the secondary colour, like Lewa's yellow). I think it was Aanchir who found the link to this one and other pics a while ago and posted it on the HF 2014 thread (the quickest-to-die HF thread ever ). It really clears up any doubt one might have one the CCBS. It's like gunmetal, but a lot shinier and with glitter mixed with plastic.

Well.. Dekar and Hydraxon kinda count. :P But stil, making more than one version of a character in the same year is more of a thing HF started. I don't mind it that much, but I hope they don't start spamming Tahu everywhere like with Rocka..

I think the Inika weapons were pretty in line with the characters or their elements: Jaller's and Matoro's swords looked like modernized versions of their Mata equivalents' (and Jaller's fancy gold sword fit a military commander like him well) , Hewkii's axe fit his strong guy character type, Hahli's harpoon and Kongu's crossbow fit their elements, Nuparu homaged Onua with his claws while his laser drill and shoulder mounted launcher included looked like something a quirky inventor like him would think of (technically it was the Red Star who gave them their weapons, but Lego's about imagination, right?).The Mahri weapons were more generic, something I'd give to a Matoran or a Dark Hunter rather than a Toa. I still liked most of them them a lot (Jaller's sword is just sweet), but when I think of Jaller & co I think of the Inika weapons. Plus they light up! I admit it, I still play with them.

I'd have it like classic BIONICLE: following a Toa team going through 2-3 forms, then jumping to a new team. I'd really like to see the Inika and Mahri redone, especially the former (maybe with less weird masks this time? The Suletu still makes me uncomfortable... ). Honestly though, I don't care for Vakama's team that much.

HF DID cut its set quantity, it was just a lot more gradual. Savage Planet had the nice number of 12 sets, by Invasion from Below we had only 7-8 sets per wave.

Looks like the gearbox idea isn't that bad afterall... and wow, I forgot how cool the earth green/lime/silver combo looks. I do hope we get more "Metru colours" sets in the future- HF used them very rarely, mostly for villains, I'd like to see things mixed up a bit (sorta like 2009). How could I forget the marvelous rohtookah shield?

Heh.. I forgot about the Hau tag. I'm pretty sure I meet all requirements for it. What about the HF tag? And, just to make the post a bit less spammy, I'll post here what I said in BIONICLE 2015 topic: I agree we need a new banner, I'd use the new Hau (since it is BIONICLE's mascot, along Tahu himself) or the Mask of Creation.

I don't see the point of doing that. They've been doing a palette clean-up since..2007 (?), removing those useless Clickits colours and underused colours like the shade of Gukko's beak. You can use a lot of different colours with System because there are a lot of themes using it, so you end up getting almost all basic bricks in almost all colours. But the CCBS is limited as its is since it runs on two themes at most per year, so they should stick to a limited colour palette. They did well so far, but Gali's colour feels like a copout to me. I hope Lewa is bright green, otherwise Green Lantern's pieces are going to become nearly useless.

What, it's not medium azure? It's the Alien Conquest azure, right? Aww.. I don't like mixing bone and shell colours (so I'll never combine Gali's shells with the Beasts' bones), but I don't see the point of changing shade. It's Gukko's beak all over again.

Mfw it was the Mask of Creation all along. Now, even if they don't make him into a set, I can finally make an Artakha MOC! Hooray! Too bad we don't have sand green shells, but who knows what the future holds for us. Anyway, I can totally see the Artakha we know wearing this mask. The image of the Mask of Creation (MoC, heh) I had in mind was pretty similar to this one, which is one of the reasons I wanted the Mystery Gold Mask to be the MoC. Mfw when it attaches like a visor: ..just, why? Sure, it's a new way of doing things, but that just kills the MOCing potential of one of the coolest mask designs we've ever seen. It's especially weird because the masks, at least the Miru clearly does, have the typical dent on the mouth area, which implies an axle connection. Maybe the MoC is supposed to be worn ON TOP of another mask?

So that is true reason the new Toa use the Superhero chest..that is a nice torso design, easy to mod. That adresses the shoulders height issue, but the head problem is still there. Now I'm 99% sure we're getting a new head.

I agree, but for some reason I see it as very fitting for Lewa. It looks very youthful and bright, compared to, say, Tahu's more stern look. Just like the original Miru. Luckily, as a fan of the guy, Lewa never got it hard as far as remakes and upgrades go (unlike Gali and Pohatu, poor souls). He's the only Toa of Tahu's team I like in every single incarnation of his.

Nah, it's just yet another attempt by Lego to find a brown replacement. Notice how little brown there is in him, to the point it's little more than a secondary colour. It started with 2006, went through many attempts (keetorange, Carapar's mixed armour, orange, tan) and then when HF came they tried with silver with Bulk. Then Evo, Nex and Rocka were added to the original 6.But still, it shows that Lego considers silver as a possibility, and since they wanted to keep at least some brown in him, they had to find a colour that looked good with it (some like brown and yellow, but I find it to be a pretty awful duo- tr yellow is ok though). As Kahliki said, Pohatu is the new Bulk. I still think there's a possibility that he might be tan in the final version, but I won't argue that anymore and wait for some news tomorrow instead. Anyway, these guys have nothing to do with the Nuva, weapons aside- they're full on Mata remakes. Makes you wonder, though, what they'll do to his colours if they make the Nuva again, and if they do (IMO it's inevitable) if the trademark silver armour is kept across the whole team. I hope the Nuva are more consistent- the gold armour is ok, but it irks me a bit to see Pohatu following a different colour organization compared to the other Toa. I really don't see that happening, as much as I'd like it.And, totally unrelated, but the new Miru is growing on me, a lot. It's got that odd alien quality to it (like the Inika masks), while still looking like a proper mask (unlike the Inika masks, lol). It reminds me of the Calix a bit, for some reason.

Which is better - BIONICLE 2015 or HERO Factory?

Obviously it's too early to judge, but so far I like the Toa more than most Heroes and I like the new masks (that includes the Spiders) much more than the HF helmets, while the Protectors aren't quite on par with small gems like the Breakout small villains. And it's a bit unfair since he's alone, but Lord of Skull Spiders is nowhere as cool as the Breakout villains and the Beasts. The Toa are VERY promising however, and I have a feeling Lego is finally going to give the chance for the CCBS to reach a new level of its potential, something that HF's lack of popularity impeded. I truly can't wait to see what Summer has in store for us. -
I still think adding functions is an incredibly dumb thing that will only hurt the characters' aesthetics. But that build does look pretty good and easy to mod. I just wanted modernized Toa Mata, dammit! I had actually subbed there, but when I saw LewiMOC downvoted to oblivion for defending the CCBS in a peaceful, reasonable manner.. It's either 2001, 2006 or 2007 for me.

I actually thought about this the other day. Aside from the sets, I'm curious on how the story would've gone. Was the original plan really to have the Nuva fade out of the story, with Jaller's team retrieving the Ignika AND awakening Mata Nui? Or was 2008 just another race for the Ignika arc with 2009 as the year of MN's awakening? And, if Matoro dying at the end of 2007 was already present as a plot point, would Takanuva have taken his place as the white Toa set in 2008? Really intriguing. -
I agree he will be mostly gold, it was harder to do in 2003 but it's incredibly easy thanks to the CCBS. Though TOO MUCH gold would look tacky- even Rocka had to balance it out with titanium metallic and silver. Tr. yellow elements would fit him as well. Though, by the time he appears the Toa might've gotten a Nuva-style upgrade with the gold armour not being a thing anymore.

I think it's a bit too early for Taka. I'm pretty sure the gold is a reference to the gold armour and masks.

I agree he's silver in the newest pics we got. But in the display pic (which is more finalized), the colour looked different than the silver armour on sets like Lewa and Gali. It actually looks tan to me.
