  1. Voted. Squares > Circles, always
  2. A warm welcome to the game sir and congratulations for picking the best faction good choice of faction if I do say so myself
  3. Thanks! I take it you mean sloping inwards, yes? If so then that is something I will consider how to do.
  4. Thank you, I will be using more of the hinge technique in the future! Thanks, I'm glad you like her
  5. Thanks, I'm glad it's clear now
  6. So beautiful, it almost looks rendered. A fine post office indeed.
  7. I am excited to begin building. There may be more visitors in kilts this year to Weelond
  8. Thank you, I wasn't 100% sure on the colour scheme but I'm glad you like it. Not a problem Thanks!
  9. Both freebuilds and licensed
  10. Thanks! I may use printing in future now you mention it. Thanks you, glad you like her! I did not realise this and have simply entered the default stats for a class 1 into the license form, which is fine. The sails are made out of... wait for it... unused wallpaper. I had some lying around that is not the most appealing of colours and I thought would make a good improvisation for sails
  11. Just to clarify, do licensed properties take 1 whole month to provide income? I built my plantation and educational building late on in September and appear no to have any income from them but I have paid their license. It would make sense a property would not make as much in one day as it would in a month but I just need that issue ironed out. Also, I should have received 10 DB from submitting my first freebuild. Yes, it's only 10 DB but I'm a new player (And also a bit stingy). Edit - I realise this is a bit presumptuous with this only being the second day into October and there is a lot of work needing to go into these sheets, meaning that my details may not have been manually entered. Please forgive my hastiness
  12. To enter into the world of sailing and discovery I need a ship; so without further ado, here she is: Bonnie, a Class 1 vessel that will be primarily used for trading, obviously not fighting. Though I'm not sure of she would be Class 1F or 1T? I was recommended to follow a 'Barracuda Bermuda Rigged Sloop' style so I hopefully resemble that in some way, it's my first time rigging a ship. And for the sake of @Mesabi it has an interior! A small cargo hold indeed! So there she be, a tad wee but she's still good looking, hence the name.
  13. Thanks, I always like a bit of smoothness Thank you! I appreciate your comments!
  14. Now I'm salty I didn't join sooner
  15. You're overconfidence is your weakness
  16. Very nice builds. I like the cobbled walkway and the first two houses on the left are my favourite! The blue roof is very well done.
  17. It is obvious this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of potatoes
  18. Small Education: Footprint 256 studs Spud sought out a place of learning, desperate to find a secret island which grew a rare type of potatoes. His hunt for this illusive isle he stumbled into Mooreton Library. After looking through maps and books and maps and books Spud grew impatient. The man sitting at the desk asked "Can I help you with anything?" Spud answered, "I'm looking for an island which grows rare potatoes, it should be around here somewhere..." After looking through one of the maps the librarian stated "I hate to say it but the island you're looking for doesn't exist" "Impossible", Spud said, "Perhaps the archives are incomplete" Rather irritated by this statement the librarian responded "If an item does not appear in our records; it doesn't exist!", while storming back to his desk. It seems the search for the rare potatoes of which little is known must continue elsewhere. Built in Mooreton Bay
  19. Thanks ever so much! Glad you like my build!
  20. Thanks for your response! I might have expected your thoughts and built an interior. Also, that part is too modern for my collection
  21. Small Plantation: Footprint 1024 studs Life is always hard on a plantation, even more so when Hamish the taskmaster is breathing down your neck. My cousin and his family on my mother's side do not have it as good as I do, they work day and night growing and harvesting potatoes or 'tatties'. It is the time of year they are forced out to howk tatties with few breaks for rest. Hamish is in no way a noble, he carries a small rod to intimidate the family an barks orders to increase the pace. The only positive I can see is that this year will be a good crop and my cousin can see a little bit of that profit. Located in Arlinsport _______ Come on, what else was I going to build first other than a spud plantation?
  22. Thanks! I hope you also enjoy the sound of bagpipes too!
