  1. Fourlord's Lego Digital Designer (LDD) .lxf file of Isogawa Yoshihito's Fleet-Footed Insect is available for download via SkyDrive here. I created a PDF Parts List (using LDD Manager). It can be downloaded here via SkyDrive. ISOGAWAYoshihito's "Fleet-Footed Insect" requires 154 pieces. Here is a LDD2Povray render:
  2. That blue Lego Technic drill was made by the incomparable Jennifer Clark -- see more about it on her webpage.
  3. @ Rishab N: Those red Technic Triangles are used on the extreme front-center of the red Vampire, on the front spoiler underneath the front license plate (tag).
  4. I think the entire Lego Technic SLIZER series sets were pretty lame:
  5. @ Ristaaf: Welcome to Eurobricks! Your Excavator is going to be fairly large to support an arm that size! I'm looking forward to additional photos. Since all Eurobricks members only get an allotment of 150k for "Attachments", your future pictures should be uploaded to a image server (like Brickshelf or Flickr).
  6. You may want to use xSergio74's SR 3D Builder software to simulate movement. He has some tutorials and many videos of it to show how good it is to model something like the "Magic Carpet" ride. Lego Digital Designer (LDD) cannot simulate movement at all.
  7. Here is a message I got from rm8 (whose "The Boss" creation is leading the 2012 Lego Technic Competition): "Hello, David, "I see that crazy1993's moc have many its fans. I also disappointed that rules are so simple and we have different promotion of model. I will be glad if Lego will try to make 2 in 1 or even 3 in 1 set with top 2 or top3 voters entrys. Sure it is possible to fit at least 2 in 1 set in one box, of course after some optimization of creation, especially crazy1993's.I'm sure that will be very good news for fans and voters. All top3 models deserve that:) "Can you make a pool with such question and voting (one winner, two winners 2in1 set, 3 winners 3in1 set) We have to make it public, before TLG announce the winner. I will support you topic. "Thanks" -- rm8 So, if you look at these Top 3 vote-getting designs, is it possible (or desirable) to make a 2-for-1 or 3-for-1 set? Your poll answers will remain private; you can pick more than one answer. I realize that it's VERY LATE for a proposal like this (with only 10 hours left for the Official Voting), but here is an attempt to get feedback. Thanks. CURRENTLY WITH 1,498 VOTES -- rm8's "The Boss": CURRENTLY WITH 982 VOTES -- crazy_1993's "Highway Enforcer": CURRENTLY WITH 141 VOTES -- hrontos' Quad Bike:
  8. The exact amount is highly classified.... -->
  9. @ Alasdair Ryan: 1,489 people disagree with you. rm8's The Boss will make a fine limited-edition set. Is black really the only color it could/should be?
  10. Well yes, of course, but since TLG wants to sell 20,000 copies of the set, what do YOU the CONSUMER prefer?
  11. ASSUMING that "The Boss" is the winner of the 2012 Lego Technic Competition (since it has a >500 vote lead with one day of voting left), what CHANGES or REFINEMENTS (if any) should The Lego Group make to the body? Should there be a different body color scheme (besides black and yellow), different or additional functionality, or leave is "as-is"? Note rm8's suggested "Color Variations" below, and his "Lite", "Extreme", and "Offroad" trim levels:
  12. With only 1 day of voting left, here are the vote official tallies (right now) : 1,487 VOTES: 971 VOTES: 139 VOTES: 80 VOTES: 70 VOTES: 66 VOTES: ALSO 66 VOTES: 60 VOTES: 55 VOTES: ALSO 55 VOTES:
  13. @ jonvil: If Meisseli is correct, you can find the page-by-page Building Instructions for the Lego Technic 8024 + 8815 + 8820 on Brickfactory.info. Do a search for Set Number 8024, and you'll find the instructions there.
  14. @ Horace T: If you use Flickr (which is free for the first 200 images), you can link to your newly-uploaded images IMMEDIATELY. With Flickr, you can post detailed descriptions with hyperlinks, and you can right-click on your image to select the 800x600 pixel size that Eurobricks likes!
  15. @ Strikeman: I just did a search for the words "1.9 scale tires" on the German eBay website and came up with these two pages of results. You should be able to find some tires in the 37mm-48mm widths. Use Google Translate to translate the German into French or English.
  16. @ Strikeman: In Europe, there must be some other RC-type tire (besides the Ansmann brand) that will fit the standard Lego 44772 wheels that came with the 9398 4x4 Crawler. In this topic, we found that any 1.9" (48mm) Inside Diameter (I.D.) RC tire in the widths 37-48mm will work. You could go to your local RC store, or look online for some brands. I don't know if RC4WD offroad tires are available in Europe -- they have a good selection!
  17. @ jonwil: Recommend that you look at Blakbird's Technicopedia to find that Technic model in his "CATEGORY" section, then go to Brickset to find the Building Instructions (by using the Search box in the top-right corner).
  18. @ hachiroku: WOW, that's a nice model of the Delorean! How long did it take you to design and build it? Do you have any plans to make Building Instructions for it?
  19. OK, but when you look at your REAL model, what are the Lego Part Numbers imbossed into the actual wheels? What are the sizes of the rubber tires printed on the sidewall of the tires? MOCPages doesn't say, or offer any hint anymore.
  20. Cool! Are you a mathematician by chance?
  21. The clingy plastic wrap (used for storing leftover food) is very strong and useful to cover the wing frames. When the plane crashes, one can easily see where the damage is and repair it:
