    Hi all. I picked up Marvel NOW! point 1 #1 a couple of weeks ago (posted that here didn't I?) and have token a huge interest in Mrs. Marvel. She's Muslim in this version, and wanted to know what comics (I'll take trade paperbacks) I should start off with to understand exactly why I always saw her as a blond and now she's a teenager. That's not to say I don't like this character though. I'll be going to a "nearby" comic shop next Tuesday (Feb. 5) to get her issue, and also wanted to know if anyone else read Point 1 and if they think "Loki: Agent of Asgard" is worth picking up. Also, I really want to get into Spiderman's Marvel NOW! comics before Peter comes back, how many titles are there and which ones should I pick up? And do they still run Spider-Woman for "NOW!"? I'll probably end up getting Superior foes if it's really as good as people say. So to re-iterate my questions, they go as follows: 1. What would be a good comic (series or just a one-off issue like the villains month comics) would be good to learn more about Mrs. Marvel 2. Does anyone here (who has read Point 1) think Loki: Agent of Asgard is worth picking up? 3. How many Spiderman titles does Marvel currently carry and which ones would be a good place to start? Also, I'm planning on checking out Attack on Titan very soon (it seems to be very popular among my friends) and if anyone else here is into that, stay tuned because I might/will want someone to talk about it with (not like I see my friends as often as I go on this site, I need a life :p).

    Can anyone post a link to these costumes please, I'll be checking ComicVine right now. But thanks for the information Luna! And haven't we already seen an image of Quicksilver? I'm sure one was released earlier, but perhaps not in this thread? (This is the edit) Nevermind, I just found all of the images (or most) on ComicVine. Quicksilver does look terrible, I remember the first image that popped up was just him walking through a door with (past) Charles and Wolverine(?). Now that I see the whole costume, I think they should have left him out in the first place. Not only does Marvel not want Fox having him in the movie, but they didn't even do him right. Oh well, I imagine the rest of the movie will be great. And does anyone have any prior knowledge to this blink character? She seems interesting, but probably very obscure (not into X-Men comics so much, so don't be surprised if I don't understand some of what you guys talk about?).

    Ugh, these prelims are all turning out so ugly, which means I'll be really blown away by the finalized product. Thanks for the image Penkid, I look forward to seeing how this set grows when we finally see it arise in quality.

    Oh, hope I didn't come off as "mocking", the only MOCing on these forums should be... well you know. But I've been diagnosed with many a things and only a few have proven to be real ( ADHD, Bipolar since I'm missing some chemical, I don't remember which one though) and I guess I've just learned make it one of my traits I laugh about, so no worries there.

    Zena, could this be a new female? If so, that'd be great! But variation is always great so it is still welcome if it's a pre-existing character. Or maybe auto-correct turn Zane into Zena, it happens.

    What minifigures came in that "press swag"? It'd be great if you knew, because I think I spotted a fleshy head in there.

    Then where will these pants become available? *sigh* All this waiting and money spending isn't turning out to be, awesome. Though it's not like the game ever really intrigued me, I just want those pants!

    All those clips! Uni-kitty seems to be just as controlling as Lord Business though, anyone else here think that Lord Business bares a very strong resemblance to a certain politician?

    My apologies "TheLazyChicken" but your flickr images seem to always show up halfway for me and my computer (which has recently stopped the abilities of emoticons and quotes to an extent) won't let me view your albums. Would it be much of a bother to ask you to PM me the images? The bottom half that I did see had a lot of bills however, so I'm assuming these missions won't be the banks best friend? Also, so glad to see these villains are getting a more individual approach. I liked how Monster Fighters had all of the villains working for the same cause, but in their own ways, and they didn't look uniformed. One thing I haven't really always liked about Ninjago is that it was always just the Overlord with some army (that's not to say the armies weren't great however!). I can understand why Lego may want to avoid it, but I just really hope we get "independent" villains this time, basically working for the same cause but not in a "minion" sort of way.

    Even if it's easy to MOC, he has a rather unique design to what would end up being the torso, and just because you can MOC it doesn't mean it would hurt for it to come in a set!

    Don't forget the Monsters! I was actually thinking that since the Dwarves are not likely to appear in the Princess line, perhaps they would do best in a general Disney theme? I'm sure Licensing would get all funky in a theme like this, though. Test the waters Lego, test the waters. And the more I think about it, the more I think a Lego Pokemon line would do so well. I'm not so sure it would be popular among AFOL's, but I'm sure the kiddies, the teens, and the adults who still play would eat a theme like that up. And back onto the Disney theme, wouldn't it be awkward that some figures (in the Princess line) would be mini-dolls and the general theme (in a hypothetical world where we get such a theme) be mini-figures? I dunno, but I just hope its made, and soon. I'm talking within the next 2 years soon, no more (maybe less, or maybe I'm pushing it). And again on the Pokemon theme (I'm all over the place in this thread) I would love if they made at least 200 of the Pokemon, but maybe that's a bit far-fetched? :D

    Thanks for all the images everybody. At first glance, I could have sworn that the Vulture was an eagle with a Rhino head. I actually laughed a bit and thought that Lego put a Rhino head as a prelim piece as a joke about Rogon and Eris' relationship. Now that we have the image of the vulture set, however, I do not think I like the tribe. And where are the new tribes introduced in the Winter Waves? Do we just pretend that the Scorpions never existed? I'm sure they wouldn't get killed off, and best it be discussed in the multimedia forum? Also really hoping that we do get Lionesses in this wave. I feel Chima is doing really good right now in terms of female characters, but the Lions have always seemed like the one tribe that needed them. As for the mammoth, I love it. And are we also getting mammoth minifigures? I want to know why some are large and some are small, guess I'll have to tune in for that one. So good job Lego, with a couple of prelims you managed to ensure both my money and my time. Cashing in from both money and views, no wonder they're so successful!

    I am almost certainly convinced that the purple figure is Pixal. Unless of course we're getting a new figure or a new variation, which is of course also welcome!

    I would love an Iron Spider figure. And Hrafnblod, you better not get your hopes up to high, but a man can dream! And can someone please confirm the release date for the Marvel sets? They have a funky scheduling going on with those. Or so it seems.

    Does the pre-order come with those legs? They can be very useful but I hope they'll be available with all purchases and not just pre-orders. But I might pre-order it if I can't get those legs otherwise.

    Thanks again! I got the feeling we'd be getting 3 females this wave (I am convinced that Caila is a girl) if the sets are of quality I'll surely be buying them since I have so much (as far as both Lego and comics are concerned) to catch up on that I'll have to be prioritizing my budget which means I won't be relying on good figures to buy a set from this theme.

    Yes, I am very much aware of the popularity behind the black suit. Perhaps I should have given reasoning in my original post, my mistake. It's just that since Lego currently only makes sets "based" off of Ultimate Spiderman, it seems that they would've never given us a Black Suit Spidey since he barely appears in that suit in the show. And as for the Amazing Spiderman, I just got the feeling that Lego and Marvel would like to focus on other properties, even if Marvel owns the merchandising rights to said movie. You bring up good points, I just think that since USM barely shows the black suit, and Lego already has so much on their plate as far as sets to make for Marvel, I thought it was best they ended up as SDCC exclusives.

    But won't the GoTG sets be out by San Diego Comic Con? Also, I see that some people have been talking about the Marvel sets being up on Toys R Us, but aren't they meant to be a March release? If they are truly appearing now, then wouldn't that make the gap between the DC and Marvel sets little less than a month?

    Be sure to post that in the MCW, but do you mean an actual custom or a purist? I think the Chima fox was excellent for a Squirrel Girl. I feel Lego had her in mind when designing Furty.

    Thanks for the descriptions! Can you tell how many female figures this new theme seemed to bring in? The first Agents line seemed to do great with those. Also, is Toxita a girl? And does this Infearno seem like a cool villain? Thanks again!
