Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

Troy and Abed in the moooornings! Seriously, awesome rapper too. Community LEGO anyone? I guess we can all dream... Look harder foo'! ;) I'm only kidding. That's really weird, because both those retailers should be carrying them. The link I gave you was for Toysrus too, and I can tell you from multiple encounters they really do have more than just GOTG LEGO merchandise. -

Definitely an underrated film. I love it myself, and have always wanted to do the crescent moon planet from the opening of the film in micro scale. Only problem is the greebling required, which, given the projects I'm currently under-taking this year, would just take up too much time and effort. Oh well, maybe some other time!

These are all fantastic, nice job!

Although I don't agree with your reasoning because you have other hobbies, you definitely hit the nail on the head with the expensive part. :( $1500 CAD??!! How do you justify that much? I max out at about $800 a year, but then again, you may have a job, in which case, yeah, that seems pretty reasonable.

Yuck, stinks of Comic Con! Great review though!

6th Anniversary REVIEW: 76012 Batman: The Riddler Chase
Jared replied to Oky's topic in LEGO Licensed
Great review Oky! Admittedly the set had some decent parts like the miniature green slopes, but other than that... meh. -
Missing the original Agents theme because I was too busy doing other stuff...

Thank you Hulk smash! I actually think I like the Delphox a little better than the Yveltal! ;)

Epic former!

Thanks! My favourite parts are the head and arms. The technique for the arms is a really neat one too!

Batwing battle definitely takes the cake for me. Although the new one is more in-scale with the Burton movie version, that set had so much playability. Plus, nothing was done sloppily. I mean, all superhero sets are great, don't get me wrong, but the Joker copter had some amazing features like the fold-out shooters and the ability to drop Joker bombs and you even had that neat little mechanism that could be unhinged by the rocket in the Batwing and knock Joker off the copter. Plus none of those stupid flick-fire missiles. That was my birthday present when I was 11, and although it was originally sorted into my collection some years later, I still played with every day when I came home from school. I remember always bringing the minifigures to school and playing with them in my desk at lunch. Just last year, a friend donated to me his collection that he didn't want anymore. While sifting through it one summer afternoon to see what new parts I'd obtained, I came across a dusty but still assembled Batwing and Joker copter. After some fixing-up, I must've ran around my house the whole evening playing with the set, because the next thing I knew it was 3:00am in the morning and my mom was wondering why I was still up. As a builder, I don't usually build sets because I figure I can just use the parts to make something cooler, but I just didn't have the heart to dismantle this particular one. So to this day it's sitting on a shelf in my building room, and from time to time when I get builder's block I pick it up and swoosh the two vehicles around. Did I mention it cures that too?! >></nostalgia rant>
