  1. Great moc once again! ;)
  2. That is very well made, great job!
  3. That's a phenomenal build!
  4. I dunno, with the release of the X-1 and the Battle for Ninjago city, I feel the theme is becoming lackluster and starting to experience burn-out... but I guess it depends what 2015 will bring.
  5. Please make it so LEGO!
  6. My vote for best goes to the turtles (cartoon, not those ugly pieces of trash from the new movie). Even with the design flaw of having the platic shell on their backs stopping the legs from rotating backwards, they printed the shells on the back so you could have that flexibility to remove the shell and get more articulation without the figure looking more weird. Worst fig: Star Wars Clone Wars Humanoid figs. Ew. *shudders*
  7. Adam West Batman or I will be a sad, sad person.
  8. +1 Whether you like or hate comic con figs, LEGO is a company first and foremost. They're there to make money (by promoting a product). They could care less about stuff like "loyal customers" and "fans". Remember, to a corporation, a "fan" is just a person who will buy excessive amounts of product no matter what, because they like said product and want as much of it as possible. They are disposable incomes, like any other customer, and that's it. The only "advantage" is that these "fans" are willing to pay more to support the product. Industry 101. I'm sorry if that sounds a little harsh on LEGO, but you should never lose sight of the main picture.
  9. And it was an amazing set. So good in fact, that I bought one for my little cousin, myself, and multiple friends both male and female! It's such a shame that LEGO is getting dragged into this rediculous debate. The nice thing is their attitude. I love it when they just ignore the pissy, angry, so-called "gender equalists"'s remarks.
  10. I'm so sorry this happened to you and your son, that really sucks. Thanks for the warning though!
  11. I feel like "investors" really take away from the hobby. It's the reason I will never get an exclusive comic-con fig.
  12. I adopted a policy that someone at Brickworld introduced me to: never buy a minifigure over $10, no matter the figure. End of story. :P Whether you overpaid or not is up to you. Personally, I feel you overpaid, because the real question you have to ask yourself is "do I really need them?", but then again, that's just me.
  13. As someone who has many friends doing economics in university, I asked them and these seemed to be the along the lines of the answers they gave. Since more people have entered the hobby, there's a higher circulation of money, and you're getting people who have more money and are willing to pay that higher price. Hence why Mr. Gold is so extremely expensive. Also, nice idea uding google data!
  14. They're all awesome, but the fire guy looks the best (I don't know their names, sorry :P)!
  15. Hey these are great!! Nice job!!
  16. Wow, classic design!! Nice mosaic of course!!
  17. Yeah, not really. According to the wikipedia page ratings have been declining since the first episode. Hence all the cameos and guest stars as drastic attempts to increase viwership. LEGO® is a multi-billion dollar conglomerate corporation. Yes, they may be nicer than literally every other conglomerate, but at the end of the day, they are still a company and they just want money. They don't care if they're destroying it for others or ruining peoples dreams, and they sure as heck don't care what you or anyone else thinks unless it makes them more money. It's the same thing with hollywood. It's a little pathetic when people say "well, I guess Hollywood hasn't learned their lesson yet" or "hollywood needs to understand that blah blah blah because the fans blah blah like the comics blah blah". There is no lesson to learn. Hollywood doesn't care. As astonishing as this may sound *sarcasm*, they're in it for the money. Just like (amazingly enough *sarcasm*) LEGO® . Once again, LEGO® is a business. In case it hasn't been made clear, Batman sells, Green Lantern and Green Arrow don't becaue they aren't as well-known, unless they're paired with Batman. Hence the assortment. Though I must agree, I would really like more secondary figures. $75 just for a Martian Manhunter figure?? Why can't he just be in a Batman set like the Flash? Um, last time I checked Superheroes was one of the most popular lines available. Well, quit your worrying because there's nothing you're going to be able to do about it. IF you want to convince yourself you're making a difference, speaking from personal experience, don't buy the product in protest. It doesn't really accomplish much except save you money, but at least you get the illusion of satisfaction of having done something in response. Haha, I sound like Raven from Teen titans... "We live in a meaning-less universe" I mean no personal offense. This is just one of those kinds of topics that really bug me
  18. Now you're just breaking my heart...
