  1. Nice! It's visible the Sebeus technique, but also some nice new features like a captain's cabin (hard to build in a ship this size). The color scheme is... original :) I just can't say it's bad, but it reminds me something like a late '80s cartoon robot. Great work by the way, I like it!
  2. The black/yellow spatiae are amazing, but I think my favourite is the HMS Sawfish both for shape and colors.
  3. The overall look is very nice, but since you've made a really nice progress from the older version, let me leave you some comment :) I would try to make a shorter bow cutwater; the two level weather deck is really nice (love it) but if you don't want to place a door to enter the stern, it could be a good idea to "hide" the wall a couple studs backwards under the higher deck. The stern right now looks a little "squared", but there are some clever ideas to work on. You may create the slanted illusion with a couple wedge plate at the sides of the windows and make the upper deck protrude one mode stud to cover those wedges, this could be a very simple change with a great overall change in the look. These are obviously IMHO comments, the ship is already a beauty "as is" :) Edit: I think i have pretty much the same pieces (maybe.. or in wrong color) if you don't mind I could try to post what I mean, but i can opnly do that as a WIP or a MOC on mocpages..
  4. I like it. Can't wait to see how you'll close the gaps on the rounded windows..
  5. Really nice! The only problem is (IMHO) the difference in scale between the MOC and the minifig. I mean: the MOC itself is out of any rating, three decker on prefab hull is astonishing, but it could be hard to show some minifig in it.. it would look like a giant! ;) Your way to make sides and increase hull's width is really smart and I really love the amount of details, I've a lot of things to learn from this.. I wonder how could it look a MOC with 2 gundecks and your technique, it would be great to show minifigs too!
  6. Wow. The half covered weather deck with the cabin is amazing. This is the second time I'm thinking about "copying" one MOC of yours! A pity I haven't any idea how, right now :(
  7. Just a few question: how do I calculate the "value" of the MOC kit (to make it similar to 75 euro)? Using mixed expensive and cheap parts?
  8. www.brikwars.com Very funny. But me and some friend are working on a naval wargaming system... Matteo
  9. Impressive. I really love all of your ship (all but the flag, it seems the redcoats/english have the biggest ships on this forum ). Great job on everything, what I like most is the head railing, sturdy and elegant.
  10. Your brig is well done.. but it seems a bit out of proportions: I would try to add a couple mid sections and a section to the bowsprit. This will make more realistic the length/tallness proportion and you'll have a higher numer of guns.
  11. One of the few FIATs wich worth its price Your one is very close to the original! p.s.: you may add a bracket and a couple of #6231 on the rear of the steering wheel to reproduce the protruding dashboard of the Panda..
  12. Thanks! I have a very poor knowledge of the general EB forum, sorry for the wrong section.
  13. My mistake
  14. As titled: how? I've this intro for a story in my head.. involving bricks I've already at home, so the only issue is to make this real. Any suggestion is welcome because I'm completely new about this.. If there's a way to make decent pictures (like, i don't know.. take larger pictures to get a focus and cut what there's around for example..), or if it's better to make balloons and then write in them or placing already written balloons instead? A user friendly program for ubuntu? Thanks for reading!
  15. Ooooh :( Spoil in a short story... or by episodes in "forum-novelas" (would be great)? Good luck with your new projects
  16. I can't see images... is this normal?
  17. Has been a while since you've posted last chapter.. I started to read them a couple days ago and they're simply great. Sometimes reminds me something like "trek" saga Hope to see new works again
  18. Wow, looking at the angle of your flag, your ship looks faster than the wind! Just a joke.. I like this creation.. and those shiny bricks on a blue coat ship brings me back to the 90s!
  19. After a nice visit to the Neptune (I though it was a scenery ship for an old movie), I needed some sea story! This is one of the bests.. but.. part 3? What is Mr Tiber selling now? ;)
  20. Not really simple to me :) I have to agree with Admiral Croissant for your rigging, but I still rather your work with bricks. As I said for Sebeus, the more difficult mocs are the smaller ones.. and you made a really good work!
  21. First of all: Great job. This is a creation who deserves attention to details. I love the way you made the sides with reversed slopes in the lower deck and slopes in the high part. The choice of colors is really nice, red and reddish brown seems to be made to stay together on this ship. Of corse there are some sriticism too, because every one has his personal "taste". On a moc like this criticism might only be on details because it's really well made :) Things I would like to change: Headrails color, because of their shape they're very thin, and need to be in a color wich changes a lot from the rest of the ship to be visible (IMHO) The gunports within the guns: gunports might be ok (if you don't want to show minifigs on this ship), but they are not ok with the two front guns. To make an example: in my current project I'm making a ship one decker with 5 large mids and only 18 guns, but even in this I'm planning to make guns brickbuilt to keep proportions). The stairs on sides could be of the same color of the sides, because your way the center gunports seems to be linked together. I would also add some gunport on the bow, because there's a lot of free space compared to the rest of the ship.
  22. Wow, looks nice now! A very minor change could be made: you may place fences on sides leaving the access to the weather deck in the middle part instad of the front part and (but this is just cosmetic) you may build a balcony on the stern to cover the "gap" between arcs and hull. Nice work!
  23. Great answer, Croissant, thanks a lot. The LDD project "for sale" is not mine, I bought it, so think to post only if my final ship comes different enough from what I've bought.. (to be honest with the seller).
  24. Thanks all for suggestions :) ...but I have another couple questions (sorry): I know there was the officers cabin (square?) right under captain's, was it correct to place a couple guns, pointing backwise, on that cabin? Considering the ship I've described, a corvette with guns on weater deck an captain' cabin at the same level: I have the chance to access the entire lower level so, in order to the square may I place there the medical bay, crew hammocks and the hold too, or there were another lower deck even in this kind of ship? P.S. since I'm modding a "for sale" ldd project, I don't think it's fair from me to post pictures, so hope to explain myself in words correctly..
