What I really want to know is if Vardy still has those dark tan shells.

The higher prices might just be a "small toy store" markup, so I'd take that with a grain of salt. They might also just be a markup for the cost of importing them, so.

So, how hard might these be to get in the US? Do I need to find someone who lives there or can I order it online from Amazon? Just trying to gauge what sets I'll have to prioritize if it gets too difficult/costly.

I generally just plunk the Spherus Magna solar system into the wider Hero Factory universe, since there's no canon reason they actually clash and HF has a far wider scope. I do the same with Slizers and Roboriders, and I suppose there's no reason Chima can't fit in there too. (And some form of Transformers, but that's beside the point.)

That's very true, but to be honest that was probably the best for all the lines involved, considering the movie's smash success could easily cannibalize the sales of the lower-selling HF and Technic stuff. I could see the big retailers(Read: Not Toys'R'Us) passing over those lines in favor of more movie product.

Distribution has been spotty at my local stores, each one only getting some of the wave in, it's been annoying to find all together. =/ Hopefully the local retailers will get their act together in time for the summer wave. (That said my distribution problems are pretty petty compared to some folks here, so maybe I should count myself lucky!)

I'm still awful sad about the cancellation news, man, we could have had dark tan* shells! Dark tan*!! At least we're still getting the dark brown* torso shell from the large mammoth set, and the keetorange* paws from that Lion Mecha. One thing I won't miss is those opaque "transparent" colored weapons, if they stick to colors like silver* or gunmetal* they're fine, but the "transparent" ones are an eyesore. I guess the saw blade would've been cool. *Aanchir can go through and correct the plastic color names if he'd like, I can't remember them off hand. =P

I'd be happy with whatever tribes end up getting me new shell and bone colors, I'm not really picky which.

To be fair, the discussion of whether or not the Chima Constraction toyline is cancelled might have a little something to do with the Chima Constraction toyline topic. Crazy idea, I know.

As long as it keeps the CCBS I don't care how or when it comes back. If the story's good, that's great! If not, oh well, still got the CCBS to work with. Ideally though if Bionicle is brought back it'll be done with less swiping words from native cultures to use as robot names. =V

I think it looks pretty cool! I love the crazy color scheme.

I'd like the Minifigures to stay so LEGO can emulate Transformers 4 with Heroes riding Dinosaurs ala Pacific Rim and Invasion from Below. That would be awesome.

I really don't care what the sets actually look like in the end, I'm just drooling over all those delicious new pieces.

Man, whether or not you guys can find uses for it, I want more. I need to build more fat robots. =V

I really wish I had bought more copies of Drilldozer, considering his upper torso piece is still exclusive to him. I only have two! =C

All I hope for next year is they go back to their old studio for their HF episodes because this new one is complete crap.

I'm starting a petition to ignore the invasion from below mini-movie and just extrapolate a better story from the instruction comics. Seriously how do you muck up bonkles + Pacific rim that badly.

Stringer is currently pursuing a music career. His latest album was a big hit in New Stellac and practically founded the Electro-Stellac subgenre.

Yeah, they seemed to fix the voices I didn't like before, and then made everyone else generic and boring to make up for it. And they even went and changed Bulk's race while they were at it. The plot was pretty lame too.

I am pretty much on board with everything said in this thread. Glad to see a lot of people share this sentiment. Just wish there were more prominent woman characters.
