  1. The big chunk of Technic on his back makes me think that a wing flapping gimmick is totes happening.
  2. Yeah, the models here are incomplete, Stormer's missing his shield, for example.
  3. Those images were posted on a rendering/CGI blog.
  4. Man, if there's any shipping going on, I'd bet all over on a Furno/Rocka bromance.
  5. I personally use a Midak Skyblaster for Bulk's Metal Sphere Shooter, it doesn't much look like the gun, but I'll be damned if it didn't replicate the "function" perfectly.
  6. The book the Doom Box confirms that rumour as true. Also the fire villains used to be miners, and were corrupted by power.
  7. I've given up the goose when it comes to back coverings, since I always end up modifying my builds anyway. And to be honest I don't like Pyrox too much anyways, after building him I realized his head/face is too big for his body. I'm gonna need to build him a bigger body, that's for sure.
  8. You're misinterpreting my "for all" as it is not referring to "anecdotal evidence" but to "amounts to" as in "for all x amounts to". I am not saying all anecdotal evidence is positive. I'm saying anecdotal evidence is worthless as proof.
  9. As I suspected, anecdotal evidence. Just as it is in the Transformers fandom, it is useless as a metric to measure actual sales. I mean, for all anecdotal evidence amounts to I could say Hero Factory is selling great! All around my area you'd be hard pressed to find any past waves at all, even the winter Breakout sets. (Or the DC based Constraction Figures.)
  10. Citation needed, hombre.
  11. Okay, Cragger is pretty damn awesome looking,
  12. I think he'd cause the Brain Slug invasion to buy himself time to construct his "Villain Factory".
  13. Is anyone else disappointed that Bruizer isn't entirely metru bley?
  14. I will be buying all of them, as usual, I like all of them a lot, but I generally prefer the villains to the heroes this time around. Except for Scarox. Booooo A lot of nice pieces to build with though, should be a fun set of guys to upgrade.
  15. The problem with this is, at least in my experience building with those pieces, they weren't designed as armor and so present several clearance issues that I'm not sure LEGO would be okay with. Rocka-Lion-Shoulderpads being a prime example.
  16. If it did happen though, I would be the happiest man alive. Don't even need fancy colors, just a big bucket of parts would be great.
  17. I think it was less "for the heck of it" and more "Furno is a fire-themed hero".
  18. My theory on the heads is that this wave is the return of the Ordeal of Fire style heads, with the transparent helm/Bralien as the top and the original hemet-y bits being the middle connector part.
  19. It really feels like Scarox needed another pass on the design stage, he just looks so bad... Everyone else is great though, keep up the great work TLG. I like how we were talking about a lack of 4m shell colors earlier, and here's this wave with an abundance of them.
  20. The wait for pictures is becoming physically painful.
  21. Yeah, sorry man but I usually just ignore broken pieces, helps that I usually have a lot more of what is broken, or that almost all the pieces that I use are in the far sturdier 2.0 variety.
  22. I would be especially okay with it if it had purple camo.
  23. The whole "communist police state" thing was pretty apparent in 2004 I believe, but that was merely a tool to set the tone of the Vahki enforcers and the story that year in general.
  24. I'm not one to be all Geewun-ish about things, but those are a bunch of silly things to de-canonize.
  25. Wow, that's disappointing. Why isn't it canon?
