The Emperor kind of got killed at the end of Return of the Jedi though. The Death Star II didn't have to be built in secret and was built with a much larger crew. It also wasn't a fully operating battle station, the weapon systems worked and there was armour and the throne room but it still wasn't complete. The minifigs are good, but I'm not massive fan of the ship. I also wish Kylo Ren had a unique lightsaber handle, IMO how it is currently done doesn't look that great.

In all other game modes they don't have the rebreathers. I don't think it's necessary for this battle pack.
-
Yeah they are, when somebody gets a hero pick-up and chooses to play as Emperor Palpatine two other players get to spawn as shocktroopers next to him. I have some ideas for mocs with them.

It's 7cm shorter but only less than 1cm smaller in width than 6211, making it seem a lot fatter too, less sleek. I prefer the look of 75055 though, there is no exposed technic bricks on the sides and the top plates seem to enclose it better. -

Since I am now going to Florida in May now instead, I should be able to attend this year! Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Will need to share a chalet though. -
Definitely getting a few of these. I don't mind the battle damaged stormtroopers too much, they add variety, although they're not the best for army building.
-
Well the Empire's BP at least gives us a black imperial cap and a very nice looking shocktrooper. FO BP would definitely be better with two FO stormies rather than having a riot trooper.
-
I personally think this is a really good battle pack, I mean yes the rebels are dressed like the ones from Battlefront and not how any are dressed in the films, but it increases variety and they're the rebels, so they're not going to all be uniformed. Also, unlike other battle packs this just has 4 regular soldiers. No special soldiers, no officers like the Hoth battle packs, just 4 regular soldiers which is absolutely fantastic for army building. I'm not a fan of how big the speeder is, a lot of the Star Wars speeders lately have seemed huge but oh well.

SInce the new TIE cockpit pieces came out with the Tie Advanced Prototype I wanted to modify my TIE fighter cockpit, however I decided rather than modding the TIE fighter first I should build myself a TIE interceptor! I have taken inspiration from other TIE Interceptor MOCs, especially the wings. I am not entirely happy with them however - they are too heavy, so at a later date I will try to modify them to be a plate thinner. I'm also not happy with how the wings connect as it's not very stable - it can be swooshed (sort of) but if you place it down without a stand it will fall apart.
-
I like your solution to the back. I don't know how it'd look with how you did it, but I've built a TIE Interceptor (well, I'm still waiting on a few more parts) but I used the 3 long modified facet for the back which made a smoother transition.

Chrome tends to rub off with a lot of play. If they find a cost-effective way to make chrome minifigs that doesn't rub off with play then chrome pieces would be more common in normal sets. -
This looks really good! I agree with Anio that the arms need to be a bit shorter. Do you have a picture of the back of the TIE?

Whilst I would love both of these, it would be better if Bly wasn't in a battle pack IMO. Optional cloth kama & pauldron for at least one minifig in both would be cool though, just a shame the new phase II helmets don't allow for a sun visor/rangefinder. Also, I don't care what set it is in (nothing too expensive hopefully) but I'd love a set to have the new Imperial Officer cap in black.

REVIEW: LEGO Star Wars Poe's X-Wing Fighter with BB-8 (Video)

Good for practising my German. The way the wings connects to the body looks sleeker than in the previous X-Wing. How stable are the wings when closed if you swoosh it? -
I did... I think I might be blind. Are there 4 seats on each side attached to the outer wall?
-
I can see a hatch for the troops, will there be one for the speeders or can they fit in the main one? I don't know if you're worried about that or not. Also can't AT-ATs carry 40 troops? I can only see seats for 32. I am quite jealous of your skill & determination with this. I already said I think it looks great but I this will be one of my favourite MOCs.
-
This is looking great! What's going to be in the lower back room?
-
This looks pretty good with the detail despite the size, however whilst the official one seems a tad too big I think you've gone too small. As you can see here it is actually pretty big.

VIDEO: LEGO Star Wars Poe's X-Wing Fighter: Presented by Designer

It'd be nice if it was somewhere a bit quieter, I found it really difficult to hear him. Does look cool though, and I really like the new helmets. -
Bricklink is your friend. Unfortunately you'll have to sift through printed legs for the plain ones.
-
They're not, it only has the old version of the Imperial officer.
-
Does anybody know if there are decal-versions or files for minifigs that exist so I can alter them? Namely these two three minifigs: EDIT:
-
I took a look at earlier minifigs, and white on red seems to have been no-where near as bad as it has been in the past few years. Not perfectly white, but not pink either.
-
I'm pretty sure this issue has been brought up before, but it doesn't seem to have been fixed. Minifigures with a base colour of red but have white printed on top has consistently ended up pink for the past few years now, and it's the only major quality issue I have with Lego right now. Take for example the recent Snowspeeder set that came out last year: The white part of Luke's flightsuit looks quite pink, yet in the official images it is stark white: So either Lego have photoshopped it to be whiter, or they receive more coats of white meaning the ones for sale are left pink to be cheaper. I do hope Lego will fix this at some point.
