  1. This looks fun, sign me up!
  2. No, it's okay. I'll just build my own for the Republic base idea I've had in my mind for about a month.
  3. I looked above, I said that I'd like to do the briefing room and either room 3 or 37. You gave no proper example on how, so I did it my own way. Also, I don't want the room anymore. I've lost all motivation.
  4. After going through the first post several times thoroughly, I find no official way telling you how to sign up.... EDIT: Oh I give up. The room I planned on doing, room 37 (Though I didn't 'sign up'...) is taken. I'll just sit back and watch.
  5. I was only un-decided about the room, and if I would have enough bricks as I'm not actually at home right now. EDIT: Eskallon, you said that Oky asked first, I posted quite a few hours before hand. (Does say that I'd like to do it count as asking?)
  6. Is the briefing/strategy room the same as a battle strategy room? If it is, I already asked to do that, but you can do it if I can't manage to get the parts.
  7. I'd say accuracy. I also much prefer mini-fig scale, unless it's a really large thing like a Star Destroyer, Death Star or Juggernaut.
  8. Right, how many studs big would room 37 be?
  9. I'd happily make a battle strategy room, however I'm not sure which number, but I'm thinking make 3 or 37. For the size, does each room have to be an exact size, as shown in the pics on the first post? I'll make sure I have enough bricks when I get back home...
  10. After looking at these sets for a while, I have come to a conclusion on them. Freeco Speeder A nice set that I am likely to buy, but I would of loved a CAT and a CA Rex. Droid Tri-Fighter A huge improvement over the last one, and I will try to buy 2 or so, depending on price. ARC-170 A disappointment to me, the bombs seem to have been replaced with flick-fire missles (Come on Lego, it's a Starfighter and a bomber, where are the bombs!?) and the nose is no-where near as accurate as the old one, but very good figures, and a good tail-gun that hopefully won't spin! I shall wait until this comes out and has been reviewed to decide on buying it, if not, I shall simply MOD my old one and buy the figures off Bricklink. Tie Defender Have been waiting for a long time for this, and it looks very good. And that's my opinions for now, I shall wait for better pictures before judging the battle packs.
  11. I know right.. 16 seems more like it.... :P Those pictures make it seem very grand indeed. :) Also, going back one page, the Captains cabin looks very good indeed. :) Apart from the lack of a bed, guess I'll have to put that in myself....
  12. And in another picture, he's in the jail.
  13. I know I know... it's just that those two hatch things seem too close together.
  14. This set is just fantastic and I'm so glad when I went to Legoland a few days ago, they didn't have the Emerald night train, as I'd much rather spend my money on this! In other news, now I've been staring at it for a good few hours, I have come to the conclusion it is too short! A possibility for me to give it another section in the middle. :) Now.. how shall I make hammocks for soldiers to sleep on....
  15. I saw this on Brickset today, and I must have it, I don't care if it's £140. It's simply awesome. Though I'll still wanna add another below deck for soldiers to sleep in, unless we get beds with it with teh cannons. Only an interior picture shall tell!

The new plane looks good, I may get one seeing as the wings aren't one piece. Although, personally I'd like it wider, but that's just me and wanting to be able to have an Air Stewards be able to walk down the middle with a little food trolley. I love the new 8 wide vehicles, as I love sitting two mini-figs next to each other in a vehicle. The only four-wide vehicles I like are airport vehicles.
  17. Thank you, Captains. I shall use flats and terraced houses to house my population and I will have a good look on those sites. :) Captain Genaro, how do I make a custom road? Also, is there any of of putting the PF motor in the middle of the Emerald Night? Thanks people. :)
  18. Well, I'm no expert, but I believe it is from the head being taken on/off or turned so much that the rubbing has smoothed down the neck/head until it turns freely and falls off. Hope I've been of help. :)
  19. Right, thanks guys, I've just seen a moc of an 8 wide train, so after I purchase the Emerald Night train, I shall try to make it wider. I will possibly also make 8-stud wide cars as they will be easier to keep detail and stop any overlapping, but that leaves the problem of having a 10-stud wide truck, and the fact 8-stud wide cars only just fit. Now, is it possible to put a power-function motor in the middle of the Emerald-Night train? Or is there stuff in the way?
  20. The main reason I don't wanna use PF for the Emerald Night is that it takes up the tender and the area where the train driver stands, and you have to have a wire across the two of them. Thanks for the vid Aawsum, I tried googling it, but came up with nothing. :(
  21. This looks like an amazing set, and I truly can't wait to get it. :) The gold helmets are fantastic, and I love the use of grey frogs for helmet holders! The Table Tennis table, along with the sofa and kitchen are just fabulous. Looking at the interior, thinking up ways to include a toilet.
  22. Ah, I already have a Brickset account, but I'll go make an account on Peeron now, thanks!. :)
  23. Hello all, I have finally decided to make an account on these wonderful forums after a year or two of browsing this forums. :) I have been collecting Lego for a long while, and a year ago I finally completed my Rock-Raider collection! I also enjoy ice skating, doing my bronze and silver at the moment. :) I am a Lord of The Rings know-it-all, and I play LoTR SBG (table-top game) and I also paint the figures. :) EDIT: If a admin happens to pass by this, would you mind changing my name to "Calanon" (remove the qoutation marks) please? I mis-spelt my name.
  24. Ah, thanks, that's quite helpful, any good bricks for making the doors for six-stud wide cards? Hmm... I tried to PM an Admin, but it wouldn't let me use the message system. :( Also, could you possibly link me to one or two examples where a RC train motor has been put into the Emerald Night Train? Would be much appreciated, thanks. :)
  25. Hello all, I'm Calanon, and although I have only just signed up, I've been browsing this forum for quite a while now. I have quite a large collection. (I barely have enough space, everything is full!) So anyway, I'm thinking of making a Town, however I kind of like to make things realistic, yet not too big and not too hard or expensive, and by realistic I mean doors, rooms that are used, houses for everyone, good-sized hotels.. and...and...TOILETS!!! Yes, I want to give my Lego figures toilets, sinks, baths, showers etc. I also want realistic cars. (4 seats, not one, a family of Lego people will have trouble going abroad with a one-person car!) Anyway, now for some questions. 1) Is 6 studs wide good enough to have 4 people in a car? (2 front, 2 back) 2) How can I make roads big enough for 8 stud wide vehicles? (Lorry's) 3) would a 6-stud wide train be wide enough to have chairs on one side, walking space on the other? 4) What are good bricks to make kitchens and toilets? 5) Does this go against the Lego feel at all? And about aeroplanes... to make a good realistic size with room for a people to walk up and down, 2 seats either side with a lane down the middle, that'd come to about 20 studs, is that just madness? If I wanted to create a plane with another four seats in the middle with another lane (lane either side) that'd come to 40 studs, what pieces would you recommend? Thank you for your time. :) EDIT: How do I change my name? I misspelt it. >.< EDIT 2: One more question... would a RC train motor fit into the Emerald Night Train?
