I really wanted to be more active, I really did. Although I'm still slightly annoyed at you for asking me impatiently whether or not I was going to vote when everything happened whilst I was asleep. Well, if we both die then they'll know in the morning that it is I who am telling the truth. I will die happily if the Vig kills Philip, I am a loyal sailor and I will give my life to rid ourselves of the Soviet scum if that is what it takes. I shall be voting for Philip nevertheless.

Have I not been confirmed by a detective as a loyal sailor? I have been present, maybe not as as much as others but I have been posting. I did not vote yesterday because, as I said in my first post today, I unexpectedly had a lot of things to do. I wish I had managed to at least vote though - alas I did not. As for today after my two posts, I've still had no luck with the puzzle.

I'm having no luck with the code either, my initial thought was the second letter of each cluster but all I got from that was "SOS RUM", I was hoping the M would be an S instead. Hm, this is tricky but we need to keep working on it, I shall report back if I manage to get something.

I apologise for my absence yesterday, I unexpectedly found myself with very little time to do anything. Now going to catch up on everything...
