She is a very lovely engine. You ought to make some period-coaches for her to pull as well.

Are you sure that this is your first time, because it looks like you're quite professional in this area. The interior is full of details, and likewise for the exterior. Keep up the good work.

That is a very nice rail car. Will you try to make different cars in different colors?
-
That is one good-looking bus you have made. It is ingenious how you access the inside through the roof. Keep up the good work.

Very good work on the freight train. It reminds me of the old BNSF locomotive from years back. The gondola car isn't bad either. Keep up the good work!

What a scene! Now all it needs is Hugh Jackman's cheesy acting. But in all seriousness, my only problem is the use of redcoats when French soldiers wore blue. However, I'm just nitpicky. I'm a conformist!.

It is a wonderful locomotive, however, looking at the pictures of the real one, I think you could add some more detail like air-intake valves and fan grates.

Actually, it was more than five minutes. The original sails on the model were destroyed during the overhaul, so I had to replace them as well, and I had to sift through my large brick box to find bricks for the captain's cabin. Plus, I had to "exchange" a few bricks on my other models for this one.

Interesting... Very interesting. You have given me a lot to think about, Matthias.

Thanks for the complement. I think that the floating hull from the old LEGO City Fireboat would be perfect for a ship.

Howdy, all. Here is your old American fan of British warships making another post. You might have remembered a few months back that I made a small brig which I cristened HMS Phoenix. I have recently done a massive overhaul (is that the naval term? I am more used to railway terms) on her, adding another course of sails and a captain's cabin, and here is the brand new Phoenix. The bow and PHOENIX figure: The anchor (not present on mark I model): One of the two cannons: A view of the captain's cabin (sorry for poor quality. I couldn't get a better shot): Inside, the captain has his liquor collection, a map and compass, and--all right Admiral, I give in, they are kind of tasty--a croissant. View from behind the ship: The johnny boat tied to the stern: And a few supplies stored in the forecastle: Now let's meet the crew of the Phoenix. Here are the three officers (L to R): Captain Marius Gloriosus, Lieutenant John Fitzsimmons, and the ship's master, yours truly. The sailors (L to R): The helmsman, the cook (he got hot frying oil in his eye), the boatswain, the gunner, the cabin boy, and the carpenter. The marines: Hugh and Pugh (I can't tell them apart, either). And now for a bit of fun: Pugh: Walk the plank, you dirty pirate! I hope that you have enjoyed this look at my top ship, even though it isn't much to look at. But, hey, I never grew up with the old LEGO pirates line, and all of the new LEGO ships are pretty expensive. I am just being resourceful with what I have. I am not deterred by a lack of parts. Besides, it is not that bad of a ship. Always entertaining, always inspiring, always:

Wow...I've just got to say...wow! When I saw this on the frontpage, I naïvely thought that it was to minifig scale. That's how good of a job you did. Keep up the good work, and make more of these creations for everyone to see.

She is a very handsome ship, if I do say so myself. The design mimics that of the Imperial Flagship (it is so like a bluecoat to copy a redcoat design), but only mimics it a little bit. That is quite a galley, too. Keep up the good work!

Amazing work! Speaking of the Flying Scotsman, her 100th anniversary will be coming up in 10 years. I better put that on my calendar!

That's a pretty good army. You must have a pretty good budget to buy all of those parts. (Unlike me )

Congrats on the TOR win. The ship is small, but like a walnut, hides its surprises. Using tan brick bricks (is that the proper term?) for the floor is very impressive. By the way, where do you sleep in the ship. That cabin looks too small.

Well, even if I didn't get a prize, I had fun competing, and probably made the first musical comic in TOR history. To the next contest, ahoy!- 28 replies

Aperture Academy Mafia School: Sign-Up Thread
Sir E Fullner replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Have you participated in a learning experience of this nature in the past? [_] Yes [X] No [_] Learning? No one said anything about learning If you answered yes to the previous question, did that lead to a successful result? [_] Yes [_] No [_] I'm not sure This learning experience may take as much as 6 weeks to complete and a failure to participate can lead to unpleasant results. Will you be available for this entire time? [X] Yes [_] No Do you appear well educated to others? [X] Yes [_] No Are they wrong? [_] Yes [X] No Are you currently being observed? [_] Yes [X] No [_] Not Sure Have you ever sued a scientific corporation for an injury you received? [_] Yes [X] No [_] An Injury prevents me from remembering Why do you wish to participate in this experiment learning experience? Please limit your response to no more than 10,000 words. Well, I have never tried out any of these mafia games before, but I think they could be very fun. And even if I don't do so well, hey, at least I had a learning experience. I have seen a mafia game only once in the past, and it looked like it would be really fun. However, that was when I was more naïve and foolish. However, I have greatly matured in the past year. For instance, I have participated in the Tournament of Retribution III, and made some entries in a few contests. Since I have seen a good amount of films with Humphrey Bogart, I know the inner workings of a mafia. There is usually the Don and his enforcers, plus some guy who mixes the martinis. Is there a guy who mixes the martinis here? Well, if there is, he must get a lot of crap for what he does. After all, life is not easy as a drink mixer in a basement speakeasy. As for the enforcers, I don't think it's a piece of cake for them either. After all, there is the chance of getting your gizzard slitted while you're asleep, or other stuff like that that was in The Godfather. Of course, being a member of the town may not be easy, either. You have to be on constant lookout for criminals (unless if you have a gun) and you have to gain your money honestly. No racketeering. The mayor is pressured to pass bills and make the town safer, however, the mafia might have hold on his decisions. The local entrepreneurs are pressured to tip the mafia with a good percentage of their products, and if they don't, dey'll be sleepin' wit' da fishes. Now where would I fit in in this rabble of calamity? Well, I think I'd probably be mafia. Why that choice? Well, I'm pretty good with drink mixing, smooth talking, and telling people that dey ain't seen nuttin'. I can enforce payments whenever I am allowed, and can give people offers they can't refuse. However, I'm not so good with the violence, so I think I'd like to be the mafia's inventory guy. You know, the guy who tells them that they're out of pizza and need some more gin in the back room. Anyways, please accept me in the mafia game, and if you don't, you'll be making a big mistake. Or maybe more of a medium mistake. Ah, who cares. Just accept me, please. Did you feel pressured to write more because of the above limitation? [_] Yes [X] No [_] I can't count that high [_] Oops, I didn't read that Signed: Major Efullner, 60th Redcoat Regiment -
Wow! It's the ship from Pirates! Band of Misfits! Overall, it's a great MOC, and keep on Brickin'!

Friends, Redcoats, Countrymen, lend me your ears: I come to spit on Pastry, not to praise him. Besides, Bluecoats can't even hurt a fly. That would look more like the murderers in Mac----I mean the Scottish Play who tried to kill Banquo and Fleance, but only achieved half of their goal.

Tournament of Retribution III - Voting Results
Sir E Fullner replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Pirate MOCs
Ah, well. Even if I didn't get to go to the final round, I had fun competing in the contest. Congrats to all others going on to the final round! -
My idea for Pure Victory was originally going to be a re-make of Shakespeare's Hamlet with the Bluecoats serving as death doubles. However, this proved to be too elaborate and too complicated. So, instead of doing Hamlet, I did a re-make of Julius Caesar. This remake is set during redcoat/bluecoat time, and stars Admiral Pastry as Julius Caesar. Here is the scene where Caesar is assassinated at the Senate. Dialogue is below the entry. Et tu, Redcoats? Then fall Croissant. I hope you liked it, so keep tuned for more. Always entertaining, always inspiring, always:
