  1. The basic design I don't think they should change. But I wouldn't mind seeing different hands, legs, or arms that seem to be becoming more and more common. I don't want any of the new ones to become regular for minifigures, but I'm liking the unique variations they're coming out with nowadays.
  2. Sorcerer would be a waste on Galen, he can fight from full effectiveness (and moreso with the Hide of the Wound) from the back row already. I'd go Raider or Black Knight. Even though I know this was a joke.
  3. Atramor glanced between Zane and Zander when he entered, listened in their exchange, and chuckled dryly as he turned to the Gray Wizard "These are the people you want us to ally with?"
  4. Your luck was bad this round, but not bad enough to help you... Round One of Raging Rapids Showdown Docken uses Darksteel Crossbow on White Rabbit A, back row - Damage (17/2 - 25 = 0 damage) Benji uses Crossbow of the Pongcanis on White Rabbit E, back row - Damage (17/2 - 7 = 2 damage) Xander uses Precision Bow on White Rabbit B, back row - Damage (17/2 - 5 = 4 damage) Thormanil uses Frozen Sabre on White Rabbit D, back row - Special Damage: I'm Late! (White Rabbit D flees) Althior uses fire on White Rabbit C, back row - Meditate (No effect, full ether) Aepyornis A, Aepyornis C, and Volt Ant C use Free Hit on Docken - ((19 + 19 + 7)/2 - 25 = 0 damage) Docken counterstrikes Aepyornis A, Aepyornis C, and Volt Ant C - (26/2 = 13 damage to each) Aepyornis A, Silver Carp A, and Volt Ant D use Free Hit on Benji - ((19 + 16 + 7)/2 - 7 = 14 damage) Benji counterstrikes Aepyornis A, Silver Carp A, and Volt Ant D - (23/2 = 12 damage to each) Aepyornis B, Silver Carp B, and Volt Ant E use Free Hit on Xander - ((19 + 16 + 7)/2 - 5 = 16 damage) Aepyornis B and Volt Ant A use Free Hit on Thormanil - ((19 + 7)/2 - 3 = 10 damage) Aepyornis C and Volt Ant B use Free Hit on Althior - (19 + 7)/2 - 4 = 9 damage) The rabbits pounce on the heroes, save one, who scampers off at the sight of Thormanil's sword. Althior thinks on how to proceed, but fails to remember he's at full ether. The Aepyornis, fish, and ants then swarm the heroes while Docken hides behind his shield and lets his party get piled on. The party's beaten and bruised, as are some of their enemies. Enemies Aepyornis A Type: Flying? *Hastened* Level: 19 Health: 257/282 Special: Road Runner – Causes slowed-effect to the target. 5. Atramor I just made up at random. Gibbin can be either 'gibbing' without the g or just 'gibbon' with an i....I forget.
  6. I asked him to surprise me, and now I look like Pelly's fleshie cousin.
  7. Atramor grumbled discontently at Dyric and Thothwick's arguing. "I agree with Rone, let's just head back to the barracks....there's nothin' left to be done here. The zealot and her worthless minions probably aren't comin' back." He turned for McCafferey to return once more to his shoulder, but she remained resolute on top of the the tombstone she'd been perched on. He frowned as she began to 'speak' silently to him. 'You cannot say you are not the slightest bit impressed at what a single being was able to accomplish using necromancy.' ''Course I can. Dredgin' up bodies to fight your battles is, well-' 'Dishonorable? Disrespectful? Perhaps merely cunning, or astute to avoid harm itself? You're more suited to conjure the dead than either of us may realize.' '...Ya' know, if you're gonna try to force me down a road I don't give a damn for, maybe ya' should try convincin' yourself I should go down it first.' 'If you believe that, you miss the point of fate.' 'I do,' he replied stubbornly, snatching the chicken off the tombstone and stuffing her back on his shoulder. What in the world was the point of being able to think if some omnipotent force was really guiding you? It was the line of thought he'd remained with throughout his entire life. If there were really gods and demons out there, manipulating and goading their followers, then what was the point of being mortal and having a mind at all? "Gods belong in people's beliefs. Not in Olegaia, and sure as hell not in Eubric..." muttered Atramor to himself, turning and heading back towards the barracks.
  8. Gollum! ....Well, there's no Gollum during mafia, but he usually is my sigfig.
  9. Maybe we could challenge him to a game of tic-tac-toe?
  10. Running her out of ether wasn't much of an option. We would've gotten killed even faster. I'm starting to really dislike Hex, too. I want to heal, damn it, heal. But it'll help push Atramor towards his choice in Expert Class.
  11. I knew I should've chosen the blue pill...
  12. Which makes me wonder why he's in such a meta game, no pun intended...
  13. Recognized it at once. That is some of the best LEGO texturing I've ever seen. The rocks, the walls, the water, the road, the grass, the roof....even the archway over the gate. They're all just fantastic.
  14. It's also one of the few chances for us to get Arwen. The only other sets I could imagine her in are maybe some other portion of Rivendell (but considering we're getting one already, chances aren't great) and maybe something from when she's fleeing the Nazgul.
  15. I don't think you can use the Banana Sabre to heal outside of combat, like the Healing Staff. And Nyx doesn't regain all her health anyway. Atramor healed both Nyx and Thothwick despite their resistance. Perhaps he owed them for having ravaged their resources on a fruitless battle. Maybe if Nyx had been revived earlier? Maybe if he hadn't used his Dragon Scale until later...the fight was over, yet his mind continued to run through various scenarios of it. He looked up at Nyx's last words, and frowned slightly. "...They can't be closed, Graybeard or whoever mentioned that, but..." He looked around, at the small shrine. "......Do ya' think she even managed to open this one? I dunno what an opened Chaos Spire's s'post to look like, but I'd expect a swirlin' vortex of bloody fire and demons crawlin' all over the place."
  16. Wasn't much of a sacrifice, then. Actually, my first plan was for me to use Bomb XX to finish off the undead since we were pretty much screwed anyway, but figured we could withstand having to get rid of one more of them next round if we survived. So close, though. Oh well. It was easily one of the most intense battles since the Dastan Palace fight. +10 Rogue Points.

  18. Never playing cards again... I thought Flare's lynch was reasonable enough, I just hope people don't assume that if he comes up scum that those pushing for his mayorhood are all scum too. Hell, I think it's likelier scum are in the crowd if he comes up town. I found both the leaders, the timing, and the following of the vote on Hinckley, well, surprising. Reminds me a little of the campaign to get Flare for mayor. Mafia veteran(s) pushes really early/late for a vote on someone and people follow up quickly. Those are some interesting parallels, and now in hindsight I can see even better why people wanted Flare lynched. Look at it from his perspective; he's being lynched for something others decided to do because his allegiance may hint at theirs, and those voters are all quite experienced. As a newer-ish player, the idea of focusing on the select group of people who weren't voting for him probably appealed to him more than his voters arguing against any defense he might've made in-thread, like Darkdragon says. Its efficiency, well, you've hit the nail on the head there. But do you think he was actually truly suspicious or Hinck, or do you think he was just trying to save himself? It'd have a significant impact on any arguments he could make, and since I'm inclined to believe the latter....
  19. That's what I think. I didn't get any such PM, though. Can you explain this role thing now, Big Cam?
  20. Atramor cracked his eyes open, and found himself staring at a tombstone. After a minute or two of it, he finally garnered the strength to sit up. He didn't need to look around to get an idea of what'd happened. He got to his feet, shaking some dirt off his cloak, and wordlessly healed everyone at the cost of 5 ether. McCafferey's beady eyes flickered between all of them, but she remained silent as well. "...Sorry, mates," he mumbled at last, retrieving the weapons he'd dropped from nearby. He felt exponentially weaker; whether it was a result of the crushing defeat or because of the brew's effects dissipating, he was unsure.
  21. Damn it. Well, that was an awesome fight, anyway...
  22. Atramor ignored the fact that Thothwick avoided his healing. It may as well have saved him from the free hits. He winced and stumbled onto one knee at the latest undead attack, yet at the same time marveled at how much punishment he'd been able to take thus far. But everyone's suffering would be rendered pointless if they were defeated...he got back to his feet, shaking his head. "Revive Nyx. We can't make it out of this alive without someone else, and if there's anyone who knows best how to fry someone alive, it's her. Then, you're gonna have to hit yourself with that....banana sword or whatever, or down a potion. In that order, mate. Tell Nyx to use her Holy Bomb when she gets up. If Zee hits me, I'll be overrun by the dead, but since Nyx'll be back it'll hardly matter." He swept the Heavy Flail out of his cloak. With it in one hand and a glowing Ratsbane in the other, he advanced on Zee. As he made one last desperate attempt to heal himself with Ratsbane from the back row, he let out a feral hiss as the Heavy Flail came down at Zee's head from the back row. Thothwick revives Nyx, back row Atramor heals himself (Ratsbane), back row Atramor attacks Zee (Heavy Flail), back row Nyx uses Holy Bomb, back row Thothwick uses Banana Sabre/Grand Potion on himself, back row
  23. At least your battle's designed to be difficult, not semi-intentionally unbalanced... I'm almost sure either me or Thothwick's going to get trashed by free hits, and there's no way either of us will be able to take all of them. Freaking out. But all I need to do is land a hit with the Flail from the back row, and then one with Ratsbane from the front...I'm Encouraged, Zee will be Fragile, and Ratsbane has the elemental advantage. Just two good hits. You're running out of Easy-level areas. That's all I'm going to say to that.
  24. Just let Slush take him out.
  25. I'm guessing that's a 'no'...what an awful night action.
