I hope not....they'll probably takes the gems out of those that have them and then sell the weapons. But the Angelic Trumpet and the Party Maracas seem irreplaceable. Especially if songs take only one turn each round to sing. You could have a party Lucky and Hastened at once.
-
Jeez, those in Quest 50 are gonna make awesome Minstrels...
-
Reminds me of a Portal Turret. Nice build, and awesome gun.
-
You'll probably be eternally Badly Poisoned.
-
The original plan was just to use a Smoke Bomb, but Zeph said that wouldn't fly.
-
Awesome to see more dedicated new players (and the first automaton, too). I would bet good money on Flipz having some sort of universal game guide in the works ( ), but for now, yes, the best thing to do to learn the ropes is read the first post of this thread and some of the Quests. And also hope a new Quest comes up soon. If you're lucky, someone in Quest 53 will die and you'll be questing with one of their new characters... Underneath that hat of his, I've always suspected he's balder than Guts.
-
You know, hairy bestial humanoids in general are really getting on Atramor's nerves. First Metasimians, now Pongcanis...
-
Triad was still the most relatable Wren NPC to Atramor. And I personally like the Acerpusculum. And I'm a sucker for such awesome deaths, too. I don't care about the PCs, most of them aren't really going to die anyway....it's a matter of finishing the Quest. Like MDM says..... gameplay<roleplay<success. We should've left Mallelio. We've already saved him from death like three times!!
-
I don't think I'll ever forgive Atramor for doing that.
-
Acerpusculum are supposed to be extremely hard to kill, though, right? Right?? Oh crap, now I have to go back and get Triad's Cowl....

Euroricks Mafia day three: An end to Ricks
CMP replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ugh....I don't even know if I should unvote you. You've outed yourself, you're screwed anyway. Unvote: Big Cam Vote: Zepher But frankly I expect you to be recruited or dead by tomorrow. -
At this point, looking back, I honestly think it would be more productive just to keep the party all together. We would have all our Phoenix Essences handy in the exceedingly difficult (because we could only hold one spire at a time) final battle. From the looks of it several will have to be used in the current battles...
-
Do or do not, there is no try. I have never meant this more literally; if I fail once, we're both dead instantly. I figured we might be able to get a bad roll once...I did not expect for there to be more enemies than the battle in which we had half the party with us.
-
No, you still have the opportunity to Mark Flying. Although if your attack had succeeded that probably would've had a significant impact on the battle...
-
If I land a hit, yes. But even being Lucky can't guarantee I'll land a hit often enough to keep every single one paralyzed If I fail this first single roll (failing includes rolling a Shield, unfortunately...) then it's literally all over in one round. And ultimately, it's not worth the risk. Each battle already has one person down, and it made me realize how severe of a risk this is. And yes, I know I probably can't join another fight. But look at how difficult the battles have become. I'd rather Atramor still be around to help out in one that doesn't depend on a single die roll. I've screwed up enough this Quest.
-
Felton!! Damn it. Roleplaying has forsaken me. Atramor pushed his way through the horde of Pongcanis violently. The Explosive Staff served well to force the hairy beings out of his path, and the eerie pink blobs of venom helped to keep them from attacking. Panic became slightly evident as he stumbled from between the Chaos Beasts and fell into line beside Triad. The weapon wavered in his hands as he held it ready. He may have been Lucky, but he couldn't be feeling less Inspired or Encouraged. The advancing mass of opponents seemed to grow even larger as they approached. There was something wrong. There had to be. He'd faced death mere hours ago in the cemetery, why did everything feel so hopeless now? Who was this fool standing in the path of oblivion? Instinct overcame whatever had brought him to the brink of suicide. When Triad next looked, he had fled. The lack of talons grasping his shoulder never occurred to him as he bolted down the staircase. Battle Order Atramor Triad Death

Yeah. Battling QMs for an edge on the rules is just part of the game.

Euroricks Mafia day three: An end to Ricks

It's not a rule. It's a reason he's voting to kill you. Discussion is what gets us proof and real suspicion. If we were to base every single thing we did on facts, we may as well lie down and let the scum pick us off until the investigator finds one of them. -
Where's the fun in rationality? Exactly. But now it's evident roleplay is going to get us all killed, so I'm re-thinking it.
-
I'm having second thoughts, mostly because of that particular fact. Didn't think one person was the difference between life and death... I've also never been more aware of how badly Hex sucks.
-
You'll have just enough gold to buy a Mead. To share.

I see your line of thinking. It sucks, but I still see it. I'm not using this silly mayor thing to judge anyone as scummy or not anymore. It hasn't gotten us anywhere. I'm going to Vote: Big Cam. The points I brought up against him on Day One are still valid, and in fact stronger because he still hasn't added anything to discussion. I don't pretend to have a sprawling network of PMs, but I can still voice my thoughts. -
