  1. Yeah. Well, at least Aragorn, Gandalf, and the Mouth of Sauron look awesome.
  2. Well, there we go, then....Vote: Hinckley. Scouty's story is starting to add up, and considering your behavior on Day One, I'm fairly comfortable with my vote.
  3. That's what's getting me here. I still think his approach was a pointless risk, but frankly, if he was scum, I would expect a roleclaim better than this, unless he was just clumsy in thinking one up. I was going to vote a while ago, now I'm rethinking. It's all somewhat believable now with that day kill, but...
  4. I just got it as well.
  5. It's like a bunch of awesome plot twists, but aren't plot twists because they just don't know what the normal plot is like.
  6. Yeah, but you just cast shadows on the rest of it. As usual.
  7. Atramor leaned against a nearby wall, listening intently - quite intently - to Regret's tale. It was surprisingly similar to those he'd heard time and time again in taverns he frequented in Dreida. Person seeks power, is gifted it by a questionable source, power consumes them...he'd never taken such stories seriously, but now? Now they were in a mess of those people....among gods. His stomach twisted into a knot at the thought. It certainly explained the Gray Wizard's behavior, and Atramor's natural hostility towards him. There was always somebody. Somebody stronger, somebody greater, somebody who in the end was pulling the strings behind everything. He found his thoughts drifting to Zane. Perhaps... ...Did he have the right idea? He frowned deeply to himself. McCafferey seemed...more delighted than she ever had. It was extremely off-putting. At last, Atramor looked up at Regret. "...I don't think we have much of a choice." He turned his head sideways towards Cronk, awaiting his party leader's decision.
  8. Atramor looked around, seemingly unfazed by the temple, but yet felt quite uneasy in it. His eyes turned onto the black being. "What're we s'post to 'offer'?"
  9. I think you're missing half the accusation. This is in response to that second bit.
  10. I'm not saying you should've blabbed your role. I'm saying that's a pointless risk if you don't think he's scum. You'd be getting to the exact same place if you weren't acting all scummy. Well, no, it probably would've worked then. I don't know what to think. It sounds to me like you just messed up going about forming a block in this situation. On the other hand, like Rick said, that's a really weird claim.
  11. What's the problem with contacting him normally if you wanted to form a block? I mean, if you thought he was scum (which you obviously didn't), the scum tactic is reasonable, but if he's a townie, you're putting your life on the line thinking he'll see through your tactic.
  12. I think it would be really interesting to use the same mechanic, and if scaled down to the size of a building (with the heroes having to move through halls and such rather than entire floors, like Dastan) could make for some cool scenarios.
  13. Maybe it's the timing. Perhaps you should try talking before trying to decapitate someone. Actually, it shouldn't be too difficult now that Hybros has the Gate to go back and get Jun.
  14. There'd probably be more conversation if they didn't leave Jun unconscious on the first floor... Haven't seen so much carelessness for the lives of NPCs since Quest 31.
  15. Tarn as well...you'll all have a ton of experience by the end of Quest 50, though.
  16. "Point is, I don't like havin' you around, and the faster we're finished with this Master of Regret and with you, the better." Atramor turned his head to Haldor, busy telling off the Gray Wizard. "Regrets? Don't have many in particular. Focusin' on the past ain't the best way forward. It can't be fixed or changed, it's not worth wastin' time on. If ya' regret anythin', the best way to get it outta your head is look for the best way ya' can fix it. For example, I regret not flingin' a knife at Wren when I met with her. Now we're gonna go fix it," he explained, with a brief chuckle.

  18. I like difficult battles, personally. Ones that aren't balanced for my current party, no ( Our faults anyway), but difficult ones that you really have to figure out are always fun. The problem with point four is that Arthur seems quite melodramatic thus far on Quest 53. He's just difficult to speak to because the vast majority of what he converses about is fate, chaos, philosophy, etc. He's great for chatting up big baddies, not so much with the relatively down-to-earth Wren Hunters.
  19. Pssh, do you know how easy the cemetery battle would've been if every single Undead was Jinxed, Badly Poisoned, and Cursed?
  20. "Fair enough," nodded Atramor.
  21. Atramor glanced sideways at Arthur, nodded, and handed over the Scarf of Misfortune. On a thought, he also handed back the Ancient Crown, and then shuffled over to Hoke. "Mate....do you mind if I borrow that hat of yours? If we run into Zee again, I wanna be damn ready," he trailed off, gripping the Explosive Staff tighter.
  22. That does make sense, unfortunately. Explains her behavior yesterday. Also explains why she brought up that idea (converting the serial killer) so early on.
  23. I am really digging all these cameos. I hope they turn out to be more than that in the long run.
  24. "My goal here is to end anyone who'd have the world go up in chaos, mate. Keep that in mind." Atramor kept one hand on Ratsbane and one eye on Zane every second of the walk.
  25. It's Day One again....I knew we were in the Matrix! My vote today is edging towards Big Cam again. This lovely performance - drops some change into Hinck's top hat - has proven well enough that this roleplaying action doesn't keep you from being helpful. Or, at the very least, doesn't keep you from adding anything to the dicussion.
