  1. Agreed, I'm quite disappointed with the Ghost in this regard. At a $90 price point, I was hoping it'd have a decent interior. The Milano, though smaller, manages to have a nice looking interior, which I really like! Here's hoping this isn't a trend with future SW sets.
  2. Wow. This is extremely disappointing news. I was already thinking of skipping most HF sets in favour of China ones, and now this. Hopefully Lego changes its mind.
  3. Hello all! I've recently got into collecting Star Wars sets, and I've started displaying them in my cupboard (which has a transparent glass door). As I have quite a few sets with many white bricks (the Headhunter, RGS, etc), I'm quite worried about them yellowing over time. The windows in my room where I display my sets do have a special UV protection film applied on them though, so I'm not too worried about sunlight causing yellowing. Does anyone know if regular room light will cause Lego bricks to yellow? Most of the stuff I've found online have to do with sunlight but say little about regular room light. Thanks in advance!
  4. Definitely getting Sir Fangar and Fluminox, but that's probably it. Their wing feature really reminds me of Nidhiki's claws/legs.
  5. Thanks! I'm glad there's at least some canonical basis to its design.
  6. Yes, but the Yoda Chronicles is a series by Lego - is that ship canon in the SW universe? Last year's Stealth Starfighter was based on the E-wing, after all.
  7. Does anyone know what ship the upcoming Jedi Scout Fighter is based on, or is it a ship Lego made up entirely?
  8. When are these sets due for release? June, or August?
  9. Any idea what the Jedi Scout Fighter is based on? Or is it just a ship that Lego made up? I mean, Jek-14's Stealth Starfighter was based on the E-wing, is this one based on any official SW ship?
  10. They're slated for a June 1 release, supposedly. Can't wait for the trailer!
  11. Are there any pictures out there of the Ghost's interior? (Does it even have one?)
  12. Looks like I'll only be getting Tunneller Beast and/or Surge Combat Machine. Tunneller Beast looks to have a very nice little build, and Surge's machine looks very menacing. Other than FJM which I already own, these are probably the only HF sets I'll be getting this year. Saving my money for the Chima Ultrabuilds and sets from other themes.
  13. The amount of AFOL references in this movie is staggering! I kept laughing at all the little tidbits here and there, while my clueless family kept going, "what's so funny?"
  14. The Phantom still looks horrible to me, but the Ghost is beautiful! Definitely a must-by! I might even get the Phantom eventually just because it can dock with the Ghost, heh.
  15. Laval looks much better on the cover art, it seems his shoulder armour pieces are just placed the wrong way around, and he seems to be using the narrower torso skeleton piece in the cover art, giving his armour a more cohesive look. I just might pick him up, after all.
  16. Just bought and built FJM today, and wow, I'm impressed. Not just by FJM's specialized build, but by how well the CCBS manages to pull off the mech feel. The new cockpit part integrates perfectly, and although I was a little annoyed by how hard it is to position the Herofig's hands on the controls perfetly, overall I'm in love with the set. Unfortunately this is going to be the only set I'm getting from this wave, going to be saving up for other themes and the summer Chima/HF wave. Looking forward to the summer HF walkers! EDIT: Just noticed that the blades on mine are a little bent (my first time owning this piece, I know...), does anyone know how to straighten these? Hot water perhaps?
  17. Sir Fangar looks great! Definitely getting him. Does Atamaii have an official website, though? The voiceover mentioned some more pictures, which I hope will give us different angles of the sets.
  18. I think Fluminox and Vardy's wings are designed that way to accomodate the flapping action feature. It looks like it can be easily modded to give it articulation, though.
  19. ...Wow. Great to see some pics! The good: Fluminox is awesome, love the wings and that awesome huge bow! Sir Fangar looks good as well, though I'm not a fan of how his asymmetrical hands. They worked well with Frost Beast, but not so much here. Otherwise, though, he looks very intimidating with a nice weapon to boot. Love that cape! The appendages on his back are odd, though. Both are definitely must-buys. The "meh": Cragger looks good with the new armour pieces, but the colour scheme doesn't work for him. Will probably skip him since I have his 2013 version. Laval looks good though, love the printing on his shield. But his shoulders seem to be lacking in bulk, making him look a bit awkward. I'll probably get him, though, since I don't have his 2013 version, unlike Cragger. Panthar is pretty average-looking, probably a pass. The ugly: Vardy looks really messy - considering how well they pulled off Eris, Razar, and Fluminox, he's quite disappointing. It probably has a lot to do with the awkward posing and bad camera angle, but he still looks pretty bad. The wings don't match and his weapon is pretty boring. As for the mammoth (what's his name again?), he has a great head and weapon, but the rest of his body doesn't match his mammoth design. Considering how bigfigs were used for mammoths in the system sets, I was expecting him to be more bulky. Sure, he has broad shoulders, but his legs look really skinny. Also, what's up with his trunk? The parts usage here is really awkward. Hopefully the final design is tweaked a bit.
  20. Apparently pics aren't allowed at Nuremburg this year as well, unfortunately. Hopefully the New York one doesn't follow suit. That said, since we pretty much know what the summer HF sets look like thanks to the TV special and the game, I'd rather get good looks at the Chima Ultrabuilds.
  21. How much does the Surge Combat Machine cost? Is it priced the same as Evo XL Machine? Would be odd if they share the same price yet one is in a box while the other is bagged.
  22. That's good to hear, they seem to be selling pretty well where I live, too! With Frozen's immense success at the box office I hope Lego's smart enough to churn out one or two sets based on it. Even though I'm not into Friends or the current wave of Disney Princess sets (bar the Tangled one), I'd buy Frozen sets in an instant!
  23. Is there any news on a possible summer wave for this line? As you guys have discussed, I'd love to see sets based on Mulan, Frozen, and Maleficient!
  24. We usually get the sets within a month or so from the US release, so I'm guessing around March/April for us then. Thanks for the info!
  25. When is the winter wave of Spidey and Avengers sets due for release, by the way?
