Do we have the US prices for the AoU sets? -

I concur! I'm hoping to see the more iconic locations like the bridge, Loki's prison, Banner's lab, and maybe a hanger. Really hoping it's a playset-style set. -

Really hoping Anakin's JSF isn't a TRU exclusive, prices of those tend to be heavily inflated in my country. Any word on that? -
Pohatu 2015 Revamp inspired by Roly's art
Aethersprite replied to Seltz's topic in LEGO Action Figures
While I'm not a fan of the use of the Onua armour, the usage of the olive green pieces is genius! They blend very well with the brown. I might try to mod my Pohatu to use olive green instead of the trans yellow. -

Ant-Man?! That's a little dubious, since he's not yet an established superhero to mainstream audiences, and even Cap 2 didn't get sets this year... But I'll still take it if it's true! Thanks J2G for the info, now to cross our fingers on that supposed helicarrier set... -
Well, my country always gets the new wave of constraction sets in February anyway, so it's all the same for me!

That's amazing! Very reminiscent of old school Bionicle ads, I love it.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Aethersprite replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wow, at this point, I don't even know if I want Lego to release a helicarrier... Between the Slave 1, Bionicle, and AoU, I'm already broke as it is! Yeap. The helicarriers already upgraded from rotors to repulsors, I don't see why the quinjets wouldn't. I'm not sure I like all that white, though; but as long as it has a decent interior, I'm fine. -
I'm more excited for Pohatu having an Australian accent more so because it's more distinctly different than that of the other Toa than because it's Australian. It differentiates him nicely from the rest, who all seem to have a variation of the same deep, gruff voice. Yeah, neither do I.

Are these videos up on YouTube somewhere? The Bionicle.com player's not working for me. EDIT: Just saw them. Omg baby Fire Protector! Plus I really like Tahu's voice, reminds me of MoL. Also why is Gali a guy?! And yay for Australian Pohatu!

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Aethersprite replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
That's true for the Guardians sets, but back then at Toy Fair they hadn't been revealed yet, i.e. no one had seen the sets yet. We've already had pictures of the AoU sets, and Toy Fair is still a couple of months away! I'm pretty sure we'll be getting a better look at them at Toy Fair. -

I love these! Definitely getting the Hulkbuster, Quinjet, and Avengers Tower. I'm a bit disappointed that the Tower is only the top portion, but at least it keeps the price down and helps me save space. So looking forward to these! -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

They could do a 'speeder bike duel' set, with both Durge and Obi-Wan in their respective speeders. I'd love to see more sets based on the Tartakovsky microseries! -
[MOC] The GHOST from Star Wars: Rebels
Aethersprite replied to DarthTwoShedsJackson's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I love it! I was very disappointed when I found out that Lego's version lacks a proper interior. IMO the ship is pretty average looking on the outside, the interior is what drew me to it. Great work! -
Those two are long due, but seeing as they weren't released even with the recent Ep II/III waves, I don't think we'll see them any time soon. For me, I'm hoping for remakes of the TIE Advanced and the ARC-170 Starfighter. I missed out on their previous versions, and they haven't been released by Lego in a long time!
-
I'm not usually a fan of these huge, overly detailed MOCs, but this one is just jaw-dropping. Fantastic work! The armour is extremely cohesive and goes together so well.

That sucks, but it certainly isn't surprising... What about Technic pieces that are commonly used with CCBS, like Hordika necks or Technic longarms?

That looks ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. I love that colour scheme! Do you mind if I borrow it and build one for my own? (If I can find the parts, that is.) Great work!

Not sure where to post this, and I didn't want to create a new thread for it, so I'll ask this here. The first PAB store just opened in my country a few days ago (finally) and while I've yet to find the time to make a trip down myself, I'm not too optimistic on the selection of CCBS parts there. How is it like in other countries, or the States in particular?

Did you try using a 5-long red shell for the tongue instead? It'd fill out the gap quite a bit. Or you could go for a dark red one, to match the original. I agree, the green eyes are quite characteristic of Gadunka! But I don't mind the gold teeth, although I'd like it better if it was a gold tooth... Gold teeth fillings aren't that uncommon where I live (amongst the older generation at least) but most of them only have a single gold tooth than a pair. Still, very great work. I'm very tempted to try this myself but I'm not sure if I have enough Technic pieces to pull it off. Do you have a picture of his face mechanism, perhaps sans the armour pieces?

My favourite Protector! I agree that the mace weapon is a little odd, but nothing a little modding can't fix. Thanks for the review!
-
I love this! Making it like a regular set makes me like it even more. The gappiness of the lower jaw is a little jarring but if I'm not wrong the original Gadunka suffered from that as well. Great work!
