  1. No worries, none taken. I'm currrently waiting for parts to arrive, I need like 40x 1x2 beams with crossholes for the doors and other details. Meanwhile I recolored the bumpers and sides to be black to fit more with the original reference and optimised the design more.
  2. Here is a WIP photo of the chassis: After building the chassis, I noticed the front suspension was a bit too hard, so I redesigned it by moving the upper shock positions a bit closer to remove the preload. Right now it's at 1435 parts, which is actually more than the 42210 Skyline even though it's smaller. Here's the current state, I'm just waiting for a few parts to finish this project, hopefully this week.
  3. Glad to hear you're also having a cooldown, it's great time to be creative! Nice progress on the G Wagon, I think this is just one of thise model types that translates into Technic really well.
  4. Thank you. I just used a combiantion of 89679 and 71682 panels. I also added half pins to the frame now to support them, so they don't flop down, I will post an update soon.
  5. While brinstorming ideas, I came up with a really wacky idea. Why not build a classic, but give it a twist? With that in mind, I decided to build a 1:12 scale DeLorean with tracks for wheels and the following functions and features: Motorized drive and steering using PF L and 1 PU L motor Powered and controlled by a BuWizz 3.0 AWD Independent suspension on all.. Tracks? Tiltable track bases Working steering wheel Working V6 fake engine Openable gullwing doors Fully detailed interior with 2 seats Accurate shaping using a 3D reference This is the result and the current WIP status: As with all my replicas of real models, I found a 3D reference model, edited out one of the doors so that interior is better visible and imported it into LDD: As you can see, the model follows the reference quite well given it's scale, I even went into the detail of slightly tapering both bumpers. Of course the wheel arches and before mentioned bumpers had to be slightly cut to fit the tracks, but the model should still be instantly recognizable. So now it's just the matter of building it from real bricks, I will post WIP photos as the project progresses.
  6. It's called a caster angle and it provides self-cenetring for the front wheels and therefore straight-line stability. More info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caster_angle
  7. No worries, main drive is a WD Black SN770 SSD 2TB, M.2 NVMe.
  8. Here's one of my most unique and interesting projects so far - A gaming PC case. First, I had to develop and print the following 3D printed components Motherboard support PSU holder 120 mm Fan support 180 mm Fan support I/O header I decided to use a 0,8 mm nozzle to print all the custom parts, since using the regular 0,4 would make printing times much longer and there wouldn't be any noticable difference in parts quality due to their simple design. After printing the custom parts, it was time to design the case with the following requirements: Has to be robust enough for easy transportation and handling Should be able to open as much as possible for easy assembly, maintenance and cleaning Modular design Should have some non 90 degree surfaces to look the part Having made a successful design in LDD, it was time to order and build the final version, which can be seen here: Final specs: AMD 9800X3D CPU GTX 5070 Ti with 16 Gb of VRAM 64 Gb of RAM 1000 Watt PSU 5 disc drives with over 6Tb of total space 54 cm x 27 x 45 cm Around 3000 LEGO parts Some 15 kg What do ya'll think? Should I make a seperate topic with more photos and info about it?
  9. Use Audi's hubs and CVs in the front, the normal ones are too weak for such large and heavy model. Other than that, keep up the good job!
  10. You can see a partial part list here: https://brickset.com/sets/42215-1/Volvo-EC500-Hybrid Normal turntable.
  11. Oh wow, nice find. And they are even in a different color!
  12. What happened to the new parts thread? https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/applications/core/interface/file/index.php?file=/index.php?/forums/topic/177795-ldd-new-parts/
  13. No, it won't be... PU hubs can output a Max of around 500 mA, perhaps 1 A if you use both ports, but these motors can draw over 2 A.
  14. Any footage of the real, physical build?
  15. Even if you can wire it correctly, the hub can't provide the required power...
  16. They seem to use translation tools and it automatically translates quotes. I've seen that with many users. Anyway, back on topic, from the video the movement of main arm indeed looks quite slow, hope other functions are faster.
  17. Yes, noticed it with the App Transformation Vehicle. The new one is more matte and much softer and can break up easier.
  18. Doesn't LEGO do any background/quality checks on reviewers who receive free sets? I have no words for that "review" and I've seen plenty. I think the only right thing would be to delete and redo the whole video. As for the set, it's quite nice, though would prefer to see both rear wheels driven without diff rather than just one. Also any idea what the ladybug reference is?
  19. I would kindly like to ask for the following parts that have already been released: 5780: 5996: 5997: 6608: 5995: 6614: 7229: 7224: 6611: 6612: 7101: 6606 and 6609: And the following versions should be very easy to modify from exisiting ones and will be released soon: 4L version of 6L link 2379a: 4L version of the 5L double CV joint (2405): Flat version of the fender 42531+ Smaller version of the arch 71689 that fits inside it + 55,9 x22 mm version of the 2491 tyre As seen in the set 42213:
