  1. Wow, thats big! How many driven wheels does it have? How will you pump the water?
  2. I had chain at first, but it kept slipping and breaking. Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Self balancing with NXT is cool, yes, but I dont have the NXT and I wanted to keep it simple. We will see what Mahjqa comes up with
  3. This is a result of a friendly competition bewteen me and Mahjqa. The challenge was to make a bike that doesnt tip over and is able to steer. In order to shift the center of gravity in the corner the bike's front steering is designed to crawl sideways, therebye shifting the weight sideways. Also to help with stability the rear wheel is from the F1 set and its the widest smooth tyre. Xl motor power the rear gear with 1.67:1 ratio, there is no chain, because it would not hold. There is supension on front and rear wheel, so the rider doesnt suffer too much I also made the model in LDD, the only thing missing is the proper rear wheel and the M motor. Download instructions here And a short video of the chopper in action:
  4. These models are really...diferent, they look more lively! And taht bulldozer is really cool!
  5. Jay! When's the next one Maybe a different theme, like nature, or space or something?
  6. Its great, but I think without tranmission he might get even better results, as RC motors have plenty of torque.
  7. Nice, but I think you need rails, so it doesnt tilt so much.
  8. Great job with this one! Nice use of custom bricks too. You forgot to put axle 3M and bush on outrigger levers ends and i think there is eomthing missing by the worm to 8 tooth gear tranmission on far top.. Other than that all I can say is AWESOME!
  9. Wow its really compact! I like it a lot! bye the way where did you get black bewel 12 tooth gears? They look awesome!
  10. Axle 16 would be nice (50451) Nevermind its already in LDD
  11. Cool models, especially the bridge! I like its A shape!
  12. Hm maybe you could brace gearbox better, there is a gear 2 studs away from bracing and i bet it will slip. Keep building!
  13. To try something new I decided to try to recreate the famouse Davidsfarm redneck rollercoaster. Even thought I dont own many white parts, I managed to create a front wheel driven PF powered machine capable of some crazy stoppies. Infact it was so good at it, i had to add some boat weights in the back to stop it from tipping over. When did David grow a beard? Back view. I improvised with lights and side exhausts. The rear axle has suspension to coushion those landings: Front wheel drive with a differential and ackermann steering for maximum agility: The front wheel drive is geared 1:3,6 ratio which gives this car quite some speed, yet enough torque to skid wheels when accelerating. The whole assembly is built as strong as possible, because most of the car's weight sits on this axle. The wheels are attached to rims only halfway. This keeps them on closer to body which means the wheels arches can be smaller. The batterybox acts as a fat seat. There is room for 3 technic figs there. Final view of the monster. Notice the PF lights. And video:
  14. Some oils will melt your bricks! I would use a silicon based lubricant instead.
  15. This is FTW:
  16. Besides the turntable the parts are no longer in use for several years, so I doubt they will add them.
  17. The transport truck reminds me of a tatra 6x6. The monster truck is really great, but maybe the engine gear is a bit low? I saw the elephant on youtube and its really unique and cute! Keep these models coming!
  18. We had a topic like that some months ago. Its all about staying with keep it easy flow...
  19. Poor Legos... Nice functions, but yeah he needs at least 50% bigger wheels!
  20. Remove the yellow brick and now you can rotate it on pin or any other brick. Its the 1x2x1 brick with 2 holes problem!
  21. I'm a bit confused now... You made 2 trailers, each with a different system?
  22. What a great looking truck! The color scheme is really outstaning and the trailer with its profiling really looks awesome!
  23. Thats giong really great! What will you use the 8th function for? Tilting showel sideways?
  24. Here's the RC unit, RC motor and PF M motor all custom made: They are all grouped and ready for use. DOWNLOAD
