Chopper

I had chain at first, but it kept slipping and breaking. Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Self balancing with NXT is cool, yes, but I dont have the NXT and I wanted to keep it simple. We will see what Mahjqa comes up with -
This is a result of a friendly competition bewteen me and Mahjqa. The challenge was to make a bike that doesnt tip over and is able to steer. In order to shift the center of gravity in the corner the bike's front steering is designed to crawl sideways, therebye shifting the weight sideways. Also to help with stability the rear wheel is from the F1 set and its the widest smooth tyre. Xl motor power the rear gear with 1.67:1 ratio, there is no chain, because it would not hold. There is supension on front and rear wheel, so the rider doesnt suffer too much I also made the model in LDD, the only thing missing is the proper rear wheel and the M motor. Download instructions here And a short video of the chopper in action:

Great job with this one! Nice use of custom bricks too. You forgot to put axle 3M and bush on outrigger levers ends and i think there is eomthing missing by the worm to 8 tooth gear tranmission on far top.. Other than that all I can say is AWESOME!

Cool models, especially the bridge! I like its A shape! -
To try something new I decided to try to recreate the famouse Davidsfarm redneck rollercoaster. Even thought I dont own many white parts, I managed to create a front wheel driven PF powered machine capable of some crazy stoppies. Infact it was so good at it, i had to add some boat weights in the back to stop it from tipping over. When did David grow a beard? Back view. I improvised with lights and side exhausts. The rear axle has suspension to coushion those landings: Front wheel drive with a differential and ackermann steering for maximum agility: The front wheel drive is geared 1:3,6 ratio which gives this car quite some speed, yet enough torque to skid wheels when accelerating. The whole assembly is built as strong as possible, because most of the car's weight sits on this axle. The wheels are attached to rims only halfway. This keeps them on closer to body which means the wheels arches can be smaller. The batterybox acts as a fat seat. There is room for 3 technic figs there. Final view of the monster. Notice the PF lights. And video:

Besides the turntable the parts are no longer in use for several years, so I doubt they will add them. -

The transport truck reminds me of a tatra 6x6. The monster truck is really great, but maybe the engine gear is a bit low? I saw the elephant on youtube and its really unique and cute! Keep these models coming!- 773 replies
