  1. I tried opening and importing file to no avail. I think the file is corrupted.
  2. Same bug prevents axle 3L with pin to fit in simillar fashion.
  3. Congartulations Calabar!
  4. I could swear I saw it the first time I used LU mode. Thanks for praise!
  5. Nice and clean! Maybe you could get better ligthing when you record?
  6. 8263 updated with right panels, the correct handle and the new gearbox piece.
  7. Bugs found while building the 8043: The 8 tooth gear doesnt fit there: Axle 4 with stud doesnt fit in its place: The new gearbox connector didnt fit all the way through (already reported bug): And the axle 5,5 is too long, so the half bush was left out:
  8. Set name: Motorized Excavator Set number: 8043 Theme: technic Parts: 1123 So after building the real deal, here is its virtual borther. There are some bugs I had to work around: The 8 tooth gear doesnt fit there: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/LDDparts/8043/bug.png Axle 4 with stud doesnt fit in its place: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/LDDparts/8043/bug2.png And the panel had some problems fitting, so I had to left out a black pin: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/LDDparts/8043/bug3.png The new gearbox connector didnt fit all the way through (already reported bug): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/LDDparts/8043/lddscreenshot34.png And the axle 5,5 is too long, so the half bush was left out: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/LDDparts/8043/lddscreenshot35.png Besides the missing 5x7 and 5x11 frames and the showel (WHICH WAS IN LDD 3.0) the build when rather smooth and I managed to MESH ALL THE GEARS in the gearbox and align all the 8 universal joints ! And yes the M motors were left out because of their corrupted nature. Middle of the build: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/LDDparts/8043/lddscreenshot37.png Finished model: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/LDDparts/8043/lddscreenshot39.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/LDDparts/8043/lddscreenshot40.png http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/LDDparts/8043/lddscreenshot41.png There may be a few pins missing, but all in all its 95% accurate! DOWNLOAD THE LXF NOW UPDATED TO LDD 4,1, Bucket is there and hoses bent.
  9. Dont know if its really a bug, but axle 5,5 is a bit too long when instering in two bricks with crossholes.
  10. Already mentioned in LDD 4.0 bugs, this was actually the first bug found in LDD 4.0 by yours trully.
  11. I used those angled connecotrs on axles to trick LDd in rotating the gear. Because of some bug you cant normally rotate that gear. Now just import my file whenever you need a rotated 16 tooth gear and thats it!
  12. I used some fancy scafolding to rotate gear: Here's the LXF: CLICK HERE Now everyone can use these gears!
  13. I was playing with (now old tyled) 16 tooth gears and managed to make a simple reversable linear actuator. I dont have any use for it at the moment. It requires 2 and a half turns for the slider to slide from one end to another. Any ideas for its use? Only one I found out is for spinning spinners
  14. Maybe some H2 model puts too much strain on them, so they reinforced them?
  15. You can rotate brick without stud on that base, and use it to trick LDD.
  16. Just found it today in my 8043. I dont understand why is there another redesign so soon...?
  17. Here's a video of the rescue helcipter (8063) being built by JunkstyleGio:
  18. I am planning to have a little fest on saturday and everyone is welcome to come and help build, exchange parts, maybe show off models etc... I proboably wont open all models just yet.
  19. I think this is the same person's folder: Nice idea for a pump! http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=454349
  20. Again thanks everyone and especially thanks for those who voted for me! I already built the motorbike, 8043 is coming tommorow!
