It has been a while since I made one of these.

Maybe they are mummies.

Say 1% of sets have pink torsos, the other 99% is not going to go on forums going "Nope my knights has white torsos". Naturally the people with pink torsos will talk about it, so it will seem like there are a huge amount of pink knights. Well unless everyone who bought a Kingdoms set takes some survey under oath we will never know the true extent of the pink knight's spread.

I bought some sets from Lego S@H recently. And got some pink knights. Will not get them replaced because what will I do with the leftover pink torsos? And my Wizard's hat is misprinted. =(. The gold and black printing on the "buckle" of the hat is off. The dragon looks mostly good except with some minor gold spillover on the tail. I guess I do not need a replacement for that either. If I get frustrated over such little things, I would probably have heart attacks over more serious manners.

If you count each minifig and the bricks/accessories in the corresponding days as an impulse set, you get 9 impulse sets for 3.88 USD each. With a few of them being exclusive minifigs. I would say that the set is appropriately priced relative to impulse sets. Well I bought it with other Kingdoms sets and they had the free shipping offer on orders over 75USD. So it only cost me 35USD. But yea the shipping from S@H makes me buy my sets mostly from Amazon. But they tend to never have impulses, and obviously I have to shop at Lego to get the Lego exclusives. But they have free shipping offers semi regularly. I believe 3 out of my 5 orders from lego.com were during free shipping offers.

If they allowed you to straight up order the minifig you wanted, I would have an army of Spartans right now. I wonder if the randomness is helping or hurting the sales. Oh well, I bought zero of them. I was really big on minifigs last year, but then I thought about it, what is the use of a bunch of minifigs with no bricks to create an awesome display for them. Now I am leaning more towards sets with high brick counts, and avoid the temptation of getting multiples of the smaller sets to get more minifigs.

The first few pictures look like they were made in a 3d program lol. Anyway it looks great. and that last picture with them drinking is a nice touch.
-
It sounds like indiana jones or the mummy lol.

Even better TRU is having a buy 2 get 1 free sale (basically like the previous buy 1 get half free, but you have to buy two instead of 1 but get the same amount of savings)on 9/19 - 9/25.

I think you are right. The Kingdoms sets are compatible with all the other sets I already have. but the Hero factory is not. Just a bunch of robots. I already have plenty of gundam model kits so that should satisfy my robot toy demand. I will probably just get Kingdoms kits until they get discontinued lol. Then I should have plenty of bricks for building castles, and plenty of minifigs for an army.

This seems like the proper place to ask, does Lego S@H offer free shipping often (like more than once a year?) or only like once a year. I do not check their website too often but I recall them having free shipping last summer, and also they have it right now. So I was wondering if they only do it during the summer, or also during other parts of the year?

Wow that looks amazing. And a good way to use up those golden triangles that Lego loves to put in their sets.
-
Wow this is amazing. Looks like a Necron character.

I just noticed that the Bulk and Vapour set is labeled as Hard to Find on the US store, that means it going to be discontinued soon if not already right?

I am suddenly interested in Hero Factory. I see at the US Lego store, they still have them all in stock. Does anyone have an idea of how long they will be sold? I have the notion to buy them all! But not all at once of course. So I guess I should be buying the Heroes first since they released earlier? I am just curios of how long I may have to buy them before they run out. I know lego sets can be produced anywhere from months to years. But maybe Bionicle (thus Hero Factory) has longer or shorter production runs?

After losing interest in Lego after I bought all 5 Prince of Persia Sets, I am back into Lego again and bought most of the Lego Kingdoms sets. Going to have 1 of each (except target practice and siege attack). I am easily overtaken by the collector mentality, a flaw of my character perhaps. Well Prince of Persia is my first collection lol, so I am super late to the Lego collection building party. Now the other themes so far I am not too interested in. Hero Factory is interesting though, and I never got the chance to get into Bionicles. And 1 of each Hero Factory set would also cost around 250 USD. I love robots, but I also love castle! So I am sort of torn between dropping a couple hundred on more Kingdoms sets to get more minifigs/bricks to make more structures. (like second Prison Rescue to complete the other side of the set as shown in some MOC's posted on this forum), or spending the money on something new like Hero Factory. Although I am a bit spoiled, so really I could do both maybe.

Getting into Lego again (yet again lol). Decided to not miss out on these awesome Kingdom sets, and there is a definite disparity between the forces. One could argue that the Wizard (presumably powerful magic) and siege weapons provide some offensive power to tip the balance over to the Dragon Knights. But overall, the Dragon Knights are fairly lacking. Hopefully the next wave will have Dragon Knight cavalry, their own castle, and of course more soldiers. And some sort of General. I was thinking of building an army, but cost is obviously an issue. There is the buying battlepacks and/or buying individual minifigs from bricklink/etc. But for the same money I could buy a bunch of sets which will have a bit less minifigs but I would end up with a lot more bricks. But it looks like the Dragon Knights Battle Pack is very popular, no doubt due to the Dragon Knight that is otherwise only available in King's Castle. But if Kingdoms is like Castle, by the time it is done with its waves, there will probably be around 30 of each Lion and Dragon Knight. Hardly an army, but perhaps satisfying enough. So far I am getting one of each set, including the battle packs and the Advent Calender. Already ordered some from Lego S@H since they still have that free shipping offer on.

A few people were interested in the previous one I made one, so here is my latest one. In case you missed the other ones, here is the playlist.

That is incredible. I love chicken walker type mechs.

Well it was only there for a few seconds I tried to get it with tissue and it flew away. I am guessing fly poop would be visible?
-
I should be washing it yes? I am not sure why it would crawl around on my Lego bricks. Maybe it was licking off my sweat? It has been awfully hot.
-
You can always do both. Of course you might feel like "Not enough time to do everything". I sometimes feel that way. Ultimately I end up favoring one hobby over the other. And then I miss the other hobbies and I switch around.

I used my mom's digital camera lol. It supports like 3xxx by 2xxx resolution so its above 1080p I believe. Well youtube lets it go up to 1080p. And usually I try to make sure the camera is in focus it does auto focus. Sometimes I mess up and there is a blurry shot but I believe I did not have any in this one. Also, you might have noticed that the legs levitating, they were propped up by Lego bricks! I occasionally use Lego bricks to hold pieces up for the allusion of levitation. For the next one I will see if I can use Lego bricks to make the models jump in the air. I still have to work on the tissue for special effects. I might have used it excessively. I am sure CopMike understood and was just poking fun. EDIT: And here it is. I went with a different kind of ending. Has Lego bricks!

Let me know if you guys would be interested in seeing my future works (if not this will be the only time I post it). EDIT: Playlist for the other videos

I know mass embedded videos is a big no no on this website so here are some photos of my updates. Redid my car to give them shapes like you suggested. My pieces selection is quite limited, mostly gray bricks and most of them are used in this diorama. (And I gave you credit LuxorV in my video) Made the Factory Snot Same with my new Mall Better view of the Mall (inspired by the Lego official set Grand Emporium) And better view of the church which seems out of place now since its so small. Guess the citizens like shopping more than church. If you want to see the video, here it is:
