A question that may or may not have been answered already. How come lego has such short release times of their sets? How come they don't sell sets indefinitely? I am sure if they still offered older sets through some sort of special order system (so that they only produce when ordered) there would be plenty of people still wanting to buy them. And what does S@H stand for? I know TRU is Toys R Us.

Well I figured pick a brick would be more useful when I get better at building my own creations, so buying sets would help me expand creativity. Having a nice variety of parts, and maybe copy/adapt techniques that are found in those sets. Well currently purchased a few castle sets. Getting some power miners, city and space police. I was thinking of bionicle/exo-force for more technic parts. Then expand into other ranges later. I was just wondering if there were any sets that partically stand out to be great for building military type vehicles.

I am looking to make Warhammer 40k tanks, bikes, trucks, walkers and maybe helicopters/aircraft. Any suggestions on sets that have useful bricks that would lend to those constructions. I am guessing I should get at least one of those basic brick boxes to get filler bricks.

Well I just digged out the old legos that I have had lying around since childhood. Lost many pieces unfortunately. Recently got into legos again when looking for a birthday present for a cousin. I purchased a Dwarven Mine Defender, and Troll Assault Wagon. I always wanted to get into WH40k, but too lazy to paint. So instead I settled for building Lego 40k. Pardon the messy table. And I hope the quality of the vehicles is good enough to post. I ordered more kits, so I intend on making a V3 of the trukk and I guess turn it into a battlewagon instead. Not too familiar with WH 40k rules/etc so I just used whatever lingo I remember. Trukk V1, The orks looted a local civilian truck, painted it red to go faster and slapped on some shootas. After getting the first trukk got blown up by enemy armour(which I hope to build when order arrives), the orks picked up various scraps lying around and used their great orkitecture to create a trukk to their liking. So I will probably add tracks to V3 of the trukk and try to make a Killa Kan. And I guess extra tracks will be used to create a IG or Space Marine tank. Or maybe a looted tank from a rival ork clan. And I might dismantle my Dwarven catapault, troll assault wagon to make the trukk more orky. Feel free to to post c/c.
