  1. Okay thanks for the picture. Well I guess I will just get the Knights helmet.
  2. Anyone feel like taking pictures of the new minifig pieces? Like the Knight helmet, and any new torsos and heads. And their appropriate name of course.
  3. While I will agree about the cheese slopes. But smaller bricks are quite useful for adding in detail. If you are building a humongous creation that requires multiple baseplates building it entirely out of 2x1 bricks might be a pain and unnecessary, but for smaller creations to fit in details like doors, windows, arches, etc smaller bricks are useful and often required to do so.
  4. Okay thanks for the info. I will order some right away.
  5. That was amazing.
  6. US politics work the same way. The smaller parties who have like 1% or less of votes come up with some issue to draw voters than the big parties just jump in and take the same idea and regain back any voters who converted. So its only natural that Lego will see what popular pieces that the small manufacturers create and see what they could use for their own sets. And Lego has bigger manufacturing capabilities so that means the same piece will be available at a fraction of the price.
  7. Wish they also had a battle armor, then I could mass generic soldiers via pick a brick.
  8. That is awesome. I was thinking of getting more copies of ostrich race to get more naked torsos but didnt know what to do with ostriches. Well now I know.
  9. You mean like mint collection action figures, comic books, etc?
  10. Are the new pieces not showing up for anyone else? All I see is a red x instead of a picture. Well the only one I am interested is the Mini Knights Helmet. Sounds like I definitely want to get those in bulk. But I can't see what it looks like.
  11. Mostly to sell for profit. Lego isn't as bad as other hobbies. Like the ones where you have to put everything together. Like miniatures, ww2 model kits, gundam model kits, etc. Those require a lot more work Since you have to remove all the pieces from the sprues, clean up any excess plastic sticking out, assemble them and then paint them. So for those hobbies, having stacks of unopened boxes is expected.
  12. ZincSpoon was talking about a videogame. The catalog made the set look sort of like video game graphics so people suggested maybe it was an implication of an upcoming Prince of Persia Lego videogame. I am sure they will make one soon enough. They are making so many of them recently.
  13. This is amazing.
  14. VBBN suggested I should post my videos here instead of their own threads (well that's the impression I got). My Transformers Collection My VHS collection.
  15. Okay thanks, will do.
  16. I don't have too many, I wish did not throw out my earlier ones. The cartoons are great though. Transformers Animated was awesome. Wish they made a season 4. Not a fan of the live action movies though. Anyone else here collect Transformers?

    Quitting Lego

They they even make small megablocks sets anymore? It seems like all of their sets are duplo sized. Unless I did not look carefully on their website.
  18. Well they are somewhere in my house I think. Well a few were borrowed by my cousin and he let some friend borrow it and I never saw them again. Oh yea I also have Pagemaster somewhere. I thought the film as creepy when I was younger. Since I don't have that many VHS tapes, I don't feel the need to throw them out. At least not yet.
  19. My VHS collection. I guess not much of a collection, and half of the tapes aren't even here. But I wanted to share with everyone. VHS tapes not depicted Godzilla 2000, King Kong vs Godzilla, Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla, Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla II, Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla King of the Monsters (US version of 1954 original). Feel free to discuss your VHS collection.
  20. Well I ordered one of every Prince of Persia set except Quest Against Time and I ordered an extra Desert Attack. So I will have a few Dastans, Perisan Warriors and Assassins. Decided to not order any more Desert Attacks to save up money for the upcoming Kingdom sets. Although I might change my mind and get more Desert Attacks for the assassins and horses. I will probably aim for around 50 of each for Kingdoms. I think I should be fine for the Prince of Persia minis.
  21. Really? That's interesting. Well I don't have too many sets but they all have China listed as one of the several countries that manufactured the set.
  22. They stopped making the smaller sized megabloks toys?
  23. If you slide them in vertically the bottom of the handle gets scratched/damaged. If you press them into the hands, wherever you press into gets scratched/damaged. Haven't really done tests to see which method does more damage though. Like someone said earlier it might be a variance in the size. Because I noticed for some of my sets that minifig heads fit nicely onto most torsos and go in and out easily. While some torsos resist a little and require more effort to remove and put on.
  24. Exactly. Every set lists China as one of its manufacturers yet only the "collectors' sets such as tic tac toe sets, magnet packs, and recent unlicensed battle packs (such as troll, dwarf, and pirates) suffer from the quality lost. Clearly the quality loss is because those aren't regular sets and not because of their geographic location or ethnicity of manufacturer.
  25. Well the sets are backordered at amazon.com and won't arrive at my house probably until the end of the month, =(. I guess that's what I get for using the Super Saver Shipping.
