Right, so I guess I will have to be satisfied with 3 Persian warriors, and get some desert attacks to get the printed horse, assassins, and dastan for the dual katanas and katana holders. Maybe some ostrich races for the naked torso.

Well they don't have to be battle packs, but something like the Desert attack except with Persian warriors instead of assassins. I guess I will have to purchase Battle of Alamut just for those three Persian Warriors. Quest against time is the only one I am not intersted in. But I guess I could get it for the grey slopes to make cliffs in the future.

What are the chances of there being another wave and having Persian Warriors in a cheaper set?

I might get this just for the minifigs. Persian Warriors!

Well an MOC takes up a decent amount of space to look decent. While minifigs have so much detail on them, they look awesome just standalone, even more when surrounded by other minifigs. Well I probably will build something to display the minifigs like a small terrain moc.

Exactly, if I wait until later to do army building, the minifigs will be quite expensive. So I figure I should concentrate on army building now. bricks seem to be much cheaper even the oop ones.

Focusing on cheaper sets with lots of minifigs, animals, and minifig accessories. All my bricks are just sitting in boxes. Only a few select sets are on display. I always find my MOCs disappointing and I dismantle them. I don't have much space. But I like minifigs. The way I am seeing it now, is that minifigs will only be around for a while. but bricks will constantly be produced. But Lego switches colors every now. Right now I want to get some Prince of Persia sets. Going to get a few Desert Attacks for the horse, and assassins. Maybe a few ostrich races for the ostriches and half naked Dastan to make half naked warriors (Barbarians?). Plus every Dastan I get means I get 2 katanas and the katana holder. Which I think are awesome. Then Kingdom sets this summer for the knights. I bought the Troll Mountain Fortress just for the Troll King and Troll Sorceress (Plus my first and only Gray Knight). But I like the set so I have it on display. So I was thinking I might also get the Battle of Alamut for the three Persian warriors. Although army collecting wise, they are too expensive.

Is that a viking helmet with a tire on it for the Saracen helmet?

Not sure if I want the PoP sets. On one hand, there are assassins and persian warriors, camels, ostriches, and Middle eastern structures. On the other hand, kind of expensive, fleshies (I never purchased a Liscenced set before), and they may never make middle eastern themed sets again thus I wouldn't be able to build upon the collection like I can with Castle, and the money I spend on PoP sets would mean less money I can spend on castle sets. I will probably get a few Desert Attacks for the assassins, and the horse though.

I think they should release historical sets alongside castle. Since Medieval knights are historical. Rulers and warriors existed in nearly every historical empire. And plenty of human enemies.

Well i always thought the Power Miner monsters would ge geat as golems in Fantasy line. Found in mines or caves.

If you bought tons of the recent castle sets with skellies you would be swimming in them. Well I believe an upcoming Prince of Persia set will have one of the older styled skeleton.

Are those yours? Either way, epic battlefields. I want to have that many minifigs someday.
