A very good point! you convinced me, I am definitely going to get at least 5 of that set. Too bard the Lion Knight Horse Barding is not in a 20 dollar or less set.
-
Actually I was going to get 10 of each if possible to make squads similar to Warhammer. That kind of organization is pretty perfect actually, since generic soldiers are plentiful in sets, while the more unique knights tend to be less plentiful. Like 1 in the entire theme and only in the 100 dollar set? =(. Some I did not get that much of because I deemed them to be too expensive to get more. Like 3 Frenzies and 5 Manta Warriors. I want to get into armybuilding but minifigs are not exactly cheap. But I might get some more Prison Carriage Rescues to get more Kingdoms minifigs.

I would say sell them on ebay. The way I see it. Bricklink = lower prices due to higher supply of goods. But higher demand for lego (since all you can buy is lego) means higher success of sale. Ebay = higher prices due to lower supply of goods. But lower demand since Lego is only a small percentage of stuff you can buy on ebay means a lower chance of sale. What you could do is try to sell it for a higher price on ebay, and if no one buys it, then sell them on bricklink at prices similar to other sellers. Not sure how popular Atlantis minifigs are, but I imagine they will be more valuable in later years. So maybe no need to rush.

And it comes with a black horse with horse helmet! If it had horse barding it would be perfect. I think I will order 5 of them from amazon right now.

All good ideas. Since I got into Lego Castle near the end of the 2009 I missed out on all previous Lego castle sets. Not a big deal, except the jousting sets. The Kingdom's set barely has any barded horses. =(. Peasant minifig pack, civilian sets, dragon knight castle. All of that would be great. But what I really want is a jousting set so I can get barded horses. (4.6 each on bricklink seems too pricy for a single piece) A seaside castle would definitely be interesting. Maybe a little fishing hut on the edge. Most of the castles just have military stuff. Would be nice to see a hybrid where its a castle with some peasants and civilian buildings inside the castle or surrounding the walls. Probably would be best suited for a 150USD creator set.

Awesome thanks for the link. The prices of the sets seems spot on with the exception of the Wagon Ambush (but it does come with sweet horses, and big wagon/tree pieces). Perhaps even cheaper compared to Wave 1 sets. The Dragon Prison structure looks bigger than the outpost attack (to be fair the catapult took up a lot of the pieces). Also, I noticed that they made a slew of new weapons for the second wave, and they have the great helm introduced in Wave 1. Do you think that Lego has noticed the poparlitiy of brickforge with its custom weapons and helms and so they are making new minifig accessories to capture the minifig enthusiast market? (along with all the collectible minifigs)

Yea that one. Is that confirmed? Because I will definitely get multiples then,
-
It might go well with the Prison Tower Rescue, at the least you can use the combine the sets and make a better Prison. And then you can have an even number of Dragon Knights vs Lion Knights and 1 cavalry each! I am guessing it will at least be 30 USD. If it is 20 USD I can definitely seeing myself getting extras.

The gate looks like a face with its jaw dropped.

Oops you are correct. I get those two names confused sometimes. Well I did some thinking. I will probably get more Prison Carriage Rescues and Knights Showdowns for extra minifigs. Bricks I can accumulate in my lifetime. While the Kingdoms minifigs will be increasingly harder and more expensive to collect more of as time passes.
-
How come they haven't made a jousting set, or tic tac toe/chess set yet? The Lion Knights horse barding is around 5 bucks each on bricklink or 50 dollars for the prison tower rescue. =(.
-
I am green in envy of your sets and presumably high income. I think I have like 2 or 3 Prison Tower Rescues. I was thinking of getting more, but I am on conflicted on buying sets for bricks/minifigs. Prison Tower Rescue is like a decent battlepack, but you barely get any bricks compared to say Prison Tower Rescue/King's Castle.

Wow nice minifig collection. I am envious.

I just found about this. Wow they look exactly like lego if it was not for those hollow studs. Looks like Lego MoCs at first glance.

If I had to guess somewhere around 200. ~15 space police I-III ~30 Prince of Persia ~20 dwarves ~30 trolls ~20 Crown Knights ~30 Lion Knights ~20 Dragon Knights ~10 Pirates/Soldiers ~10 City ~10 Power Miners/Monsters

I have cut most of them open to save on storage space. I just use them as cardboard. The boxes are high quality cardboard great to use as mats. I think I should consider making some into storage boxes. Not sure why I never tried it before.

I suffer from a similar problem. I have the pieces just lack the imagination.
-
This is absolutely wonderful. And the minifig is dead on!

Just got a Log Cabin and Winter Village Bakery. I will see if I can castlify them. Well maybe not the Log Cabin, but the Winter Village Bakery looks like it could fit well in castle.

Pirates of the Caribbean better than Kingdom?

Just swap the faces. Although the less detailed yellow minifig heads lend themselves better for clone armies. 20 smiley face pirates looks fine, but 20 Captain Jack Sparrows looks a bit weird. -
The latest Castle theme has a new Great Helm. The different themes have different helmets.

Pirates of the Caribbean better than Kingdom?

Okay I saw the new Kingdoms sets, and they are pretty awesome. I would say Kingdoms Wave 2 > PotC Wave 1 > Kingdoms Wave 1. in terms of structure design. -
Summer kit of 2011? Well I think the armor looks decent. mostly because it has shoulder pads.
-
What set is that from btw?

How does the POTC theme fit into your world?

I see myself getting Whitecap Bay, The Mill and possibly The Cannibal Escape. Whitecap Bay looks like a nice castle gate and tower. Mermaids will join my growing fantasy minifigs. I could use the boats and net for my fishing peasants. The Mill gives me another fantasy minifig with that seashell guy. And those gray panel pieces will benefit future castles. For the cannibal escape, I get two natives. I don't think I want more than two, but they could be useful. And lots of nice tree pieces. This is the least likely set I will buy of the three. The rest I will probably not get.
